--Daycare--

Mr.Face:

"Shame. I need something new to read..." I said. I didn't resent her for not having anything in audio. From my understanding it was an aquired taste for people who could see.

Cricket
"You...guess?" I blinked. "Oi my my. You don't guess. A world without singing is like...I dunno, a rich guy without 'is wallet! A broke shame."

Girl
Despite myself, I laughed. Laughing was such a weird feeling, like something in your throat was exploding.

Cricket
"What? It's true. 'Ave you ever seen one of those rich guys after you take their wallet?"

Girl
"I've never taken anybody's wallet before... is it... fun?" I asked

Cricket
"Well...I've only gotten away with a couple times so far..." I confessed, frowning a bit. "But I like it better than robbing places."

Girl
"Would you... maybe... teach me how?" I asked hopefully, but was certain he wouldn't. Wouldn't hurt to ask, I guess

Cricket
My eyes grew wide...er. "Me, teach you?" I thought about that. "Ah...well...I'm not too good myself y'know...yet. Tickety and Crooks are teaching me..." I stood on my toes, trying to see though a window for Tickety. She seemed busy...coloring. Since when did she color? "Ah...I could try though, I mean..."

Girl
"Really?! Like... you mean... really?!" I beamed "Thanks! Are you sure?"

Cricket
She beamed. Which, in girl language, I'd learned, meant 'say yes or I'll guilt you into it with my fluffy eyelashes of doom.' Or at least, that's what Crooks said. I'd never really played much with girls. Except Tickety...but she didn't count. "Ah...sure..."

Ravyn: I pushed Kaya's wheelchair into the daycare. She was nervous and not too happy about it, but id finally convinced her to go. She didnt get much social interaction since she'd been in the hospital for a while after she lost her leg, not to mention that she had a lot of private tutors and advanced classes meaning social interaction in school was limited. This would be good for her. I was glad she'd agreed to give it a shot. She pushed her glasses back up her nose nervously as we arrived and she saw all the other kids. "Go make friends. I'll be back later." i encouraged, stepping back a bit.

Kaya: I frowned a little, glancing around. Most of the kids seemed to be in large groups, and i was nervous about approaching anyone at all. A large group was out of the question. But i spotted a boy wandering outside with a bunch of blocks on his own (Castle) and got slightly curious. I wheeled mself over to him. "Um, h-hello. What are you doing?" i asked.

Castle: I turned around, blocks in hand. What was I doing? "Uh...terrorizing blocks?"

Kaya: I couldnt help it. I had to laugh, which caused my glasses to almost fall off the end of my nose. I managed to stop and pushed them back into place. "Attempting to terrorize various inanimate objects? Im not entirely certain that will work." i said, smiling. "My name's Kaya. What's yours?" i asked.

Castle: I dumped a few blocks on the floor and held out my hand. "Castle,": I mumbled. "And if I got the blocks to terrorize other people, then I would have terrorized them indirectly." No, that didn't make sense...oh well...

Kaya: I smiled and shook the hand he held out. "Its nice to meet you. Castle... that;s an intersting name. Not one ive heard before..." i mused. "And im still not entirely sure that something inanimate can feel terror.... although you can certainly cause damage." i pointed out. "Wait, DO you plan to terrorize other people?" i asked.

Castle: I pick out a block and twist it in my hands thoughtfully. "I don't know. It would be quite fun, throwing blocks at people...."

Girl
I wasn't good with body language, but he didn't really seem like he wanted to... hm... "I mean, if ya don't want to... that's fine..." I said, my grin slipping as I realized that maybe this wasn't the best idea, anyway.

Kaya: "Maybe. But every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Its a proven law. Think about the consequences. What if someone picks it back up and throws it back?" i pointed out. "It could backfire quite horribly. Plus.... there are more fun ways of terrorizing people than throwing blocks at them, if you MUST terrorize someone. Although, i dont think i'll be able to find the materials to build a laser or anything here....." i said thoughtfully. "Darn."

Cricket
I cocked my head, frowning a tad. She looked sad. No. Resist. So this is what Crooks was talking about. I wondered if they did it intentionally or if it was an unnavoidable trait implanted in their minds. "Well...th' first thing t' remember is that it's all about distractions."

Castle: I pull out the handle of a gun in my jacket pocket. "Cop isn't strict on these kinds of things. Or else she doesn't care. I'm not sure."

"Distractions. Right. Okay. So like... if something blew up nearby, with bits of bodies flying all around? Then I could take a bystander's wallet?" Hey, maybe this was easier than I thought it would be!

Cricket
"Ah...not quite...well, I guess it could work but I'm not sure 'ow long it would last. Th' trick is t' make it a distraction so subtle they don't even notice they're disctracted, see?"

Girl
"Ah... a subtle distraction?" I asked, confused "How is that possible? Aren't distractions big, noisy, and... boomy?"

Mr.Face:

I couldn't believe it. This was almost too good to be true. I'd read the sign the other day, and Spent a great deal of time packing, and trying to research it. I was pulling about 4,000 rectangles worth of electronics and exacto knives behind me on a TV cart, and grinning like a fiend. I didn't even mind the fact I was in one of those infernal hallways with changing dimensions. I was about to hit the sacrificial jackpot. Amazing.
I pulled open the door, wheeling the cart in front of me.

T.Mor:

The door opened again, and I saw a big pile of technology roll in. And...Oh crap. Oh crap. Oh crap. Oh crap...Mask Mask...Mask....Oh crap...My boss. I tossed my crayons and hid under the table.

Kaya: I chuckled a little. "Im sorry. Im occasionally paranoid. When you lose limbs due to not thinking, you start to think more." i said, staring down at my lap and the empty space where the majority of my one leg should be. "Evidently, being smart doesnt exempt you from doing stupid things. Its a pity, but oh well. "Not to say that you could lose a limb throwing a block at someone. Unless it was like, explosive or something. Actually, exploding blocks would be awesome! I should make some later...." i said, suddenly excited.
