Sound of Madness

"Let's move to my room," Carly whispered in his ear as she caught her breath when he kissed her neck. She didn't feel the need to specify /where/ in her room.

Derek complied and walked them into her room, closing the door with his foot. Hd kissed her again as the fell onto the bed, her carefully underhim. He made sure that not much of his weight was on her as he kissed her.

Carly tugged at the bottom of his shirt as soon as they hit the bed, though her lips stayed against his.

Derek pulled away for a couple seconds to pull of his shirt and tug at hers. He pulled up slightly and watched for her reaction. Was she ok with that?

Carly didn't overthink it, just pulled it off, revealing her pink lace bra. No, she hadn't seen this coming at all. She was into fashion, so of course her bra was fashionable, too.

Derek chuckled when he saw the bra. "You sure you want this?" he asked softly, his hands sliding down to her jeans.

"Don't laugh at me," Carly mumbled, pulling off her jeans, then relocking eyes with him as she slid her hands down to his belt. "Yes, I want this."

"Good." Derek let her undo his belt and slid out of his jeans. His arms snaked around her and unsnapped her bra.

Carly woke up to find Derek next to her, his arms around her. Her eyes widened, had she really done that? But then she smiled. She really did love him, even if he refused to love her back. And now he had to know...that was her way of sealing her side of the deal.

Derek pulled Carly closer to him when she started to stir. He kissed her shoulder gently as she started to wake up.

That kiss made her shiver, but in a good way. She turned so she was facing him in the bed and kissed him gently on the mouth, once. More of a loving kiss than a lustful one.

"Hello." Derek smiled to her as she kissed him. "How do you feel?"

"What do you mean? Good, I guess," Carly answered, for some reason amused by that question.

Derek chuckled very softly. "Good." he whispered to her. "Carly...I...I love you." He could lie to himself any more. He did love. Even after she broke his heart, he loved her.

Carly smiled and buried her head in his chest. "I love you, too, Derek. I always have, even when we fought."

"I know. I felt the same way." Derek whispered softly. He kept his arms around her and ran his fingers up and down her back gently.

"And I'm sorry for breaking up with you, that was a really stupid move," Carly said looking up at him through her eyelashes.

"Yes it was," Derek agreed with her. He kissed her nose and smiled to her.

Carly laughed quietly. "I assume this means we're back together, titles and all?" She half-joked, but for some reason just wanted to clarify, to hear Derek say that they were official again.

"Yes. Deffenetly back together. As pong as you are ok being my girl again." Derek rested his forehead against hers and smiled to her.

"Mmm, I like the sound of that." Carly cuddled up to him. "Your girl, " She said wistfully.

Derek smiled and kissed the top of her head. "I'm glad you do." he whispered softly in her ear.

"I wish this moment could last forever," Carly murmured, knowing it was a cliche thing to say, but it was true. If she could just stay in his arms like this forever...she'd be happy.

"Too bad I have to work my shift at the pool soon." Derek commented softly. He didn't want to let go of her though.

Carly laughed and got out of bed pulling her clothes on. "You're awful," She joked. "Way to ruin it."
