Devon was in his room playing video games...as usual.

Demi snuck up behind him and covered his eyes. "Hey you." she whispered in his ear.

(I want to say no....but at the same time I want him to hurt her.)

"Yea. Got bored and decided to visit." Demi dropped her hands from his eyes and walled around so she could sit next to him.

Devon chuckled. "Glad to know I'm your cure for boredom." He tossed her a game controller. "Play with me?"

Devon restarted the game so she could play. "So what have you been up to?"

"Nothing really. Hung out at the pool. Couple guys flirted with me, but no one really caught my interest." Demi told him honestly. "There's actually a party tonight. If you wanted to go."

(I think it would be interesting of he hurt her if younreaalybwanted to create drama.)

"They didn't catch my interest because I knew I had you." Demi told him softly. "And thank you." today was her birthday, not that she really expected him to know. She didn't really care if he knew or not, she just liked being with him. "But do you know what today is?" she asked slowly.

"my birthday. But it's not that important. I haven't actually celebrated my birthday in a couple years now." Demi told him, not meeting his eyes. She kept her gaze Locked on the TV even though she had no idea what've was doing in the game.

"Kinda, I guess. A couple guys at the pool are throwing me a beach party."Demi shrugged. "First time in about four years that I'll actually celebrate my birthday." her family, contrary to popular belief, didn't have a lot of money. Demi had given up on birthdays when she turned thirteen. Her parents didn't have time or money to throw her a party, and she didn really care.

Demi thought for a couple seconds. "God it's been a while since someone has asked me that." she laughed lightly shaking her head. "A couple CD's, but I could get them online easily." She mostly wanted to be able to hang out with him.

Demi bit her lip. She wasnt used to people offering to get her stuff. "The most recant...or any... Rise against CD, Doctor Horribles sing along blog, and if you could find it Doctor Who season five soundtrack." She told him this slowly, realizing how weird her taste in music was.

(took me so long to come up with that...curse my fail of knowing cd titles. I was going to say something pop like, hut then realized I knew almost no pop CDs. I knew that I couldn't just say like WONDERLAND or something for demii because she doesn't like that style....)

Devon nodded and stood up, dropping his controller on the bed. He changed his shirt and ran a hand through his hair, before going out the door. "I'll be back."

"Um...Alright." Demi nodded. She watched him walk to the door and sighed. He was going to go get her those CD's, even when she told him he didn't need to. She got back to her feet and ran a hand through her hair.
