Sound of Madness

(Why aren't they already in the group to begin with...? -shrugs- well whatever. Paris is already going to be in the group, so she could be his friend)

Blake caught her arm, a sly grin sliding onto his face. "Sorry, babe, didn't see ya there. Don't know how I missed a pretty face like yours."

(i didnt know if that was the way you wanted to go or not. But thats fine.)

Remington smiled up to him as he caught her arm. "Thanks. Its no problem though. I wasnt watching where I was going." She smiled sweetly up to him. "I'm Remington. Remy for short."

Blake wondered why she introduced herself when he hadn't asked her name, but didn't really care. He'd forget it in a few minutes, anyway. "Uh, cool...I'm Blake."

"So..." Remington shifted the weight of her bag. She wondered what this guy was doing out this early, seeing as it was barely dawn, but didnt really ask.

"So what are you doing out?" Blake asked, realizing the odd time.

"Running away from home." Remy shrugged, jesturing to her bag. Probably not the best thing to tell a dude she just met on the street, but she was going off of lack of sleep here. She was probably saying a lot that she shouldn't.

"You're kidding," Blake said with a chuckle.

"No, im not. Home life wasnt right for me, so I left." Remy shrugged, smiling up to him.

"Huh..." Blake said, his smile faltering. "I actually live with a bunch of runaways, but I guess it'd be creepy to offer you a place to stay."

"You...what? A bunch of run aways live in the same place?" Remy was slightly confused, but idea intriged her. "It might be a bit creepy...but if you really are offering, i really need a place to stay."

"Well, uh, come on then," Blake muttered, running a hand through his hair and turning around, the way he came. He forgot what he had come out for.

Remy nodded and followed after him quickly. She really hoped that she wasnt walking into a trap, but was too tired to care. "Thanks." She smiled to him.

"No problem, babe," He said with a wink as they neared the house. They were closer than one would think, Remy must have been out walking for awhile.

When they reached the house Blake called out for Devon, probably waking up half the house. "Devon!"

Devon appeared on the stairs, looking only half-awake. "What?"

"I fount a stray," Blake joked, his hand on Remy's arm. "Mind if she stays awhile?"

"First Derek's friend, now yours?" Devon grumbled. He thought about how Blake's "friend" looked like a tomboy, though, which would mean no lust in the house. So maybe it'd be okay. Plus, he wasn't exactly thinking straight...."Fine."

Blake grinned at Remy. "You can have the empty room next to mine. Come on, I'll show you." He led her up the stairs to the room.

Remy raised an eye brow when he called her Babe and winked at her. Now she was a stray? A small laugh escaped her lips and she shook her head. "Thank you." She smiled up to the guy who said she could say. She followed behind Blake up the stairs.

"So here's your room," Blake said slowly, rocking back on his feet, his hands in his pockets. "I'm right next door if you need...anything."

"Um, thanks." Remy smiled to him and tossed her bag on the bed. "Question....not that I'm complaining....But why would you offer me a place to stay after just meeting me on the street?" She asked him softly.

Blake shrugged. "Cause I can't resist a pretty girl."

(Because Spired knew that they had to get Remy into the group xD)

"Well, thank you." Remy smiled over to him and sat down on the bed.

"No prob." Blake walked off, over to his room, to get some sleep.

(skip to morning and have Julian come?)

(Or later in the morning seeing as it was just dawn. Lol.)

Julian looked down at the scrap of paper in his hand. This was the place. Didnt look like much. He sighed and knocked on the door. "Paris?" He called.

(same difference)

Paris was in the kitchen drinking tea. She was odd like that, always had to have her tea in the morning. She tried different flavors everyday. She was wearing a silky, kimono-style robe, because she was quirky like that, too. She went and answered the door, throwing her arms around her friend. "Finally! You're here!"

Julian laughed lightly and wrapped his arms around her. "Yeah. Finally here." He chuckled softly. "How have you been?"

"Pretty good, the people here are nice and all. I missed you, though, darling," Paris turned into the kitchen. 'Darling' was, of course, a pet name she used on anyone and everyone.

"I missed you as well." Julian followed her into the house and dumped his bag on the table. "I disigned something for you. Maybe you could or someone else could make it work." He flipped open his sketch pad and showed her a costume design.

"HMm." Paris looked it over as she took a sip of her tea that she grabbed from the kitchen. "That's fabulous, I love it. Great work, Julian."
