Sound of Madness

"Cool." Remy grabbed an apple from the fridge and leaned against the counter as she ate. "So, what rules are there in this group?"

"No romance, rule number uno," Paris said, only then realizing it didn't matter if she liked Julian or not, they couldn't be together. Damn. "The big man -- Devon -- outlawed it from day one. It'd cause too much drama."

"No romance. I can handle that." Remy smiled at that rule. She had nothing to worry about. Mr. Creep couldnt do anything to her because it would be against the group rules.

(Mr. Creep? He's not a creep!!)

"And, ya know, the usual other stuff," Paris waved off the rest.

(remy thinks he is)

"Of course." Remy nodded. Her mind traveled back to Blake. His eyes seemed so intense when she looked into them. So...beautiful.

Paris finished her salad and rinsed her bowl. "Well, see you later, love."
She decided to go up and check on Cici and Julian.
"What are you up to?"

"Just showing a couple drawings." Julian shrugged. he glanced over to Paris and smiled.
"Yea, he is really talented." Cici giggled.

Remy sighed as Paris left and went to wander the house again. She walked into the living room again to grab her book.

"Glad you're getting along," Paris said, raising an eyebrow questioningly at Julian. Did he like Cici?

"It's kinda hard to not get along with her. She so...friendly." Julian muttered softly and Cici flipped through his sketch pad.

Paris nodded slowly. "Friendly...right. That's what she is," She muttered.

"yup. So, what have you been upto, Paris. You were gone for a while." Cici asked, smiling over to the girl.

(i really want Remy and Blake to interact again...Its so funny to come up with some of her reactions..at least in my mind it is...)

"Eating lunch," Paris mumbled, looking down at her fingernails, not liking this situation.

(lol, okay, I just didn't know what to have him say when she came back)

"Oh. Ok then." Cici nodded, a smile still on her face. "Ooh! This is pretty. have you seen this paris? I looks kinda like you!"

(haha...um..maybe he can sneak up behidn her while she is reading?)

"It /is/ me," Paris said, her eyes flickering back to Julian. "Julian drew it this afternoon, didn't you, petal?"

(err, okay. he doesn't have that much interest in her, but sure. lol. have her start reading)

"Uh...." Oh great. He could tell that these two were either a) fighting in a not so fighty way about him, or b) didnt like each other. "Yeah. I drew it this afternoon. It is Paris."

Remy sat back down on the couch and opened her book again. She started reading silently, getting lost in the words.

"I'll leave you two alone," Paris mumbled quietly, turning from the door to go ... somewhere. Just not around them.

Blake crept up behind her. He put his lips to her ear. "Does this make you nervous?"

"Paris...." Julian sighed when she went off. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed.

"Eeip!" Remy dropped her book. "yes." It also scared the crap out of her.

Paris went out to a tree in the backyard, and stood against it, admiring the scenery. Yeah, she was the type of person who didn't get bored doing that.

Blake chuckled and got away from her ear. He picked up her book. "Hmm what are you reading?"

"Cici...I'm gonna go check on Paris." Julian told the girl.
"Oh. OK. She seemed a bit down." Cici smiled to him as he grabbed his sketch pad from her and left his room. He ran outside and over to Paris.
"Ok, whats the matter?" He asked her soflty.

Remy bit her lip as he picked up her book. "Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix." She told him softly. "It's one of my favorites."

"Nothing, I just thought I'd leave you and Cici alone...ya know..." Paris winked, her typical smile on her face.

"Harry Potter?" Blake scoffed, but then corrected himself. "uh, well, that's cool."

"Please dont...that girl gets on my nerves....She so..bubbly." julian cringed slightly.

"Lemme guess, you arent a huge fan?" Remy laughed lightly. "It's cool if your not. Didnt expect you to be."

"Seemed like you liked her," Paris mumbled, then shrugged.

"I don't read," Blake said bluntly. "It's boring."

"I was playing nice. I do that every now and then, you know." Julain laughed lightly.

"fair enough. Reading can be boring. But i cant use my lap top right now...still charging. Its like...dead." Remy shrugged, looking up at him again. She looked into his eyes and just stopped talking.

"What were you going to say before she interrupted earlier?" Paris fiddled with the hem of her jacket. "You know, when you were holding my diary?"

Blake smirked and held her gaze. "This make you nervous, too?"

"Dont you wish you knew." Julian smirked at her. That moment had passed, and he really didnt feel like saying what he was going to. For one, he didnt have the courage to say. "It's not all that important anyway."

remy nodded slowly, unable to turn away from his gaze. Why? Why, why why?!
