Sound of Madness

"It is to me," Paris said with a frown.

Blake laughed. "You're adorable."

"Dont worry about it." Julian ruffled her hair. "Promise me you wont?"

Remy attempted to supress the blush that rose to her cheeks when he said that. "Thanks...I guess."

"I can't," Paris said and tried to smile. It'd bother her if she didn't know. But maybe what he was going to say was totally unrelated....

Blake just shook his head and looked at her.

"I was just going to say that you've grown up since the last time we saw each other." Julian shrugged. It was true, she had grown up. But that wasnt what he was going to say.

Remy finally managed to look away from him. Why? Why was he like this with her? And why did she have all these...nervous feelings about him?

"Whatever you say, love," Paris said, patting his shoulder then brushing past him, thinking of going back inside.

Blake stepped closer to her and let his hand run down her arm. "How about now? Nervous?"

"Paris..." Julian sighed as she walked off. When did she turn into...such a girl?

Remy's heart pounded in her chest. She swallowed and nodded slowly. His fingers left a warm trail down her arm.

"What?" Paris asked, looking over her shoulder when she heard her name, and trying to keep her tone light as usual.

Blake chuckled and leaned closer to her. "How about this?"

"I understand what you meant earlier." Julian told her softly.

Remy nodded again. The lock of hair fell into her face, but she mad no effort to move it. Him being this close to her made her freeze up.

"I know you did. But then you decided to be all secretive about what you thought about it," Paris said, struggling to keep her normal calm aura.

"Do I really have to push that out of your face AGAIN?" Blake asked, not doing it this time. He pulled away.

"I just..." Julain was at a loss o what to say. For the first time with talking to Paris, he didn't know what to say to her.

Remy bit her lower lip and finally let go of the breath she didn't know she was holding. "It doesn't like to stay." She laughed lightly.

"You don't feel the same way. I know. So let's just forget it ever happened, okay?" Paris mumbled with a gulp.

"Pin it back?" Blake suggested.

"It's not that. I just don't want to ruin what we have. And by saying this I realize I probably have and I'm sorry." Julian babbled on and on.

"Might work." Remy nodded to him. She rubbed her arm and looked at the ground. The arm that he had rubbed was now cold, as if it was telling her that it wanted his touch again.

Paris' heart sunk. "I see. Well, we can still pretend it never happened and not ruin anything."

"Might? Don't girls use those...things...you know..." Blake searched for the word.

"Yea. Sounds like a plan." Julian smiled to her. He hoped it would work for the both of them.

"Bobby pins? Clips?" Remy asked, trying to find the word for him. "Dint own any. If you haven't notices, I'm not exactly a girly girl."

Paris hadn't expected him to agree to it, but just plastered on her usual easy smile. "So you left Cici all alone with your sketch pad, love? That can't be good."

"Don't own any? I thought girls like came with them," Blake muttered.

"Nah. I kicked her out of my room and hid my sketch lad. The only person I trust alone with my sketh pas right now is you." Julian shrugged. He looked over to her and smiled when he saw her smile.

"I dont." Remy shrugged. "Mind you, I don't really care if my hair falls into my face."

"Except I creep into your room and look at your "doodles" so...sure you trust me?" Paris asked with a laugh.

(Dammit. Now they're stuck in the friend zone!)

"Hmm, then remind me not to brush it back anymore," Blake said.

(They'll get out of it...)

Julian shrugged. "That was only because of that one drawing. So yes, I trust you."

Remy would, if she could ever force herself to speak when he was touching her. "Sure thing." she sighed.

(How? They agreed to stay in it >_>)

"Good. Because I trust you -- no wait, I don't trust you with my diary," Paris said with another laugh.

"Hmm...so..." Blake said awkwardly.

(Because Julian will do something stupid to get them out.)

Julian laughed and shook his head. "Like I would want to read it. I only did that to get back at you for looking in my sketch pad when I told you not to."

Remy bit her lower lip. "Can I have my book back yet?" she asked softly.

(Lol, like what? xD)

"Well, you did read it. Anyway," Paris said, turning around. "Let's go back inside."

"Oh, yeah, sorry," Blake said, handing it to her. He'd completely forgotten he was even holding it.

(Have faith in me! Honestly....)

"Alright." Julian followed after her. He never really noticed now pretty she looked until the sun hit her just right. He wished he could freeze that moment or at least have a camera with him.

Remy smiled and took the book back. Goosebumps spiked up along Ed arm when their hands touched.

Paris walked into the house, and came upon Blake and Remy. "Don't be scaring the newbs, Blakey."

Blake groaned. "Don't call me that."

"Why not? It's cute."

Remy stifled a laugh. "Blakey?" shed have to remember that for the future.

"Isn't it cute?" Paris said to Remy with a grin.

Blake grumbled something.
