Character Chat!!!!!!!!! Jr.

She girl turned away, completely ignoring me. "...Or just ignore me, its whatever," I rolled my eyes again and turned to the boy. I looked him over.
"You're tiny, how old are you?"

"You're supposed to shake it." Finch quipped wiggling his hand to emphasize his point. "Oh, and when you do you say your name." He added on like he had just remembered.

A half grin fell into place on my face. "Ahh a little smartass. I like it," I took his small hand and shook it whole heartedly. "Sparrow, nice to meetchya,"

Finch smiled, his straight white baby teeth came into full view, the bottom canine was missing. "Eight." He said proudly, finally answering her previous question.

Wolf
I take a cleaning breath, the forest giving a slight smell of dirt to get rid of the salt a little. Should just take Milo's words and leave. Being around people was never good for me. I squat down, watching ants as a distraction. Dirt is a beautiful smell after so long. I missed the forest. Missed my pack. But I could be alone.... cover more land and stay away from that artificial scar. I didn't like it.

"Good stuff... good stuff..." I patted his shoulder. Cute little bugger, always liked kids. So long as they werent screaming.
"So whats the diagnosis, doc?" I said to Milo

"Camp." he answered simply brushing past her to begin walking to a spot down on the beach that seemed to be the best option. As he passed the other girl he stopped and before he could stop himself he said "Are you coming or not?"

"I guess we're playing follow the leader now." I trudged after him.

Wolf
I eye Milo, Finch, the obnoxious one and the now silent older boy with her. "I'll...stay close..." I murmur, standing up again. I didn't like being near people, but in this situation i didn't really like being away from them. The beach would be camp then? Where we came in. I could find that easily enough.
"I won't do anything," I promise. I meet his eyes quickly as I say it. A promise to him and to me. I won't allow myself to do anything.

if this is continuing any time soon, i'm disappearing thurs till labor day with spotty/no internet. feel free to ignore my charries, i'll read up when i get back

Milo trudged through the forest, the road getting clearer and consequentially easier to travel as they neared the shore. "Right." He said to himself looking around. "Shelter, then food." Finch trailed behind chatting at the girls. He bounced happily behind the quieter of the two, studying her happily. "You remind me of someone. Hmmmmm."

Wolf
"Someone?" I ask him. Trying to distract myself. The sound of his heart replaced by the echoing warning of Milo. He was a fidgety thing. Never stopped moving. Finch. It was funny... I give a small smile. "Who would that be?"

Finch stuck his little pink tongue out between his teeth in concentration. He stared at Wolf intensely before a weight was lifted off his face. "My dog, Maddie!"

Wolf
I try and keep the smile. "Yeah?" A dog. He just related me...to a dog... A mutt. I wasnt such a tame thing. I could never be such a tame thing. "You fit your name well," I say. Conversation was...still new... I hope I was doing this right...

Sparrow

I trudged along behind Milo while Finch ran circles around me. I wiped my forehead of sweat and swatted at the swarm of nats around my hair.
"I'm gonna fucking keel over in this jungle. People arent cut out for this kind of humidity," I bitched angrily at the bugs.
"Hey Tarzan, where the fuck are we going?" I called to Milo with a breathy whine.

"I know." Finch said simply looking over the girl, as if there was something he was on the edge of saying. Instead he shook his head and added "You talk like Cove."
Milo glanced back at Sparrow "We're here already." he snapped flatly.

Wolf
"Like Cove now? Who is that?". It was difficult not engaging the boy like this, however awkwaes it felt. His charisma was rather contageous, it seemed. I glance up thround the leaves of these foreign trees, the light steadily slopping to the east more and more. We - well, they - could not travel in the dark, could they? And instinct would be...stronger then. No, not supposed to think that way...

"Cove is our friend. What I meant is that he hardly talks at all. Like you." His voice cracked on the last word.
Milo frowned "Cove was not our friend."

Wolf
I give a small smile again. "I'm afraid I haven't been around many people...lately. I'm -" I say softly but stop myself. I'm dangerous. Can't trust myself around others, and its as if Milo knows it. He believes in my ability to control myself just as much as me, even if he doesnt know what I have to control. "I'm dangerous, is all," I murmur, looking away with a long face.

Sparrow:

Evesdropping; I rolled my eyes. "Sheesh, could you get more dramatic? Holy fuck." I pushed my frizzing hair out of my face. What a ho. "So what now Tarzan?" I asked as I scoped out the little clearing we had stopped in.
