Daughter of Darkness

Gabrielle frowned, what was he doing? this was hardly painful, where was the torture tactics? She froze, not responding to the kiss, expecting to be hit in return

Artemis frowned "have you at least tried?"

Kale nodded with a slight smile. "Ya, I've tried."

Seph refrained from hurting her when she froze, gently kissing down her neck and body, then back up to her lips, kissing her again, again coaxing her lips for a response.

Gabrielle squirmed, completely confused. She sighed and relented, returning the kiss with as much enthusiasm as a kid would with homework, just glad he wasn't beating her. Whatever protected the baby

Artemis frowned "and you've given up? why? I thought reading was unattainable but look it" she held up the book proudly "I did it. it just takes time and patients" she smiled kindly

Seph grinned slightly, deepening the kiss as his hands carressed her body.

Kale shook his head, again with a sad smile. "It's not like readin a book Artemis." He watched her carefully. "It's in here." he touched his chest where his heart is.

Gabrielle shivered at his touch. it felt.. different. it didn't hurt. why? this was making her uneasy...

Artemis shrugged, still not understanding "I still think you're giving up too early. give it time, then try again"

Kale watched her carefully and gave a small nod. "Yes ma'am." He said, deciding not to argue any more.

Seph kissed down her body again, his lips gentle and light as they lingered on her skin, reaching below her waist and trailing back up to her mouth, kissing her deeply. His fingers continued to trail her body gently, all around her thighs and across her hips.

Gabrielle shuddered and squirmed, his touch bringing out odd reactions from her. Where was the pain? What was going on?

Artemis sighed and titled her head, watching him "can I make you a deal? If I can finish this book by the end of the week, you have to keep trying at your goal?" one week.. that would be hard

Kale raised a brow and gave a small nod. "Alright. One week." He gave a small smile, though he didn't think it was going to work. His heart still ached for the kind soul infront of him.

Seph removed his clothes and pressed his body against hers, still kissing her gently as he found his way inside, this time without force, and moved slow and gentle.

Gabrielle's breath caught as the movement caused a peculiar sensation. What was this? this had never happened before Confusion riddled her thoughts

Artemis grinned, pleased with herself "so what's that about?" she gestured toward the book in his hand"

"This is about the great detective Sherlock Holmes." Kale said as he looked at her smiling. "It's a really good book. He solves impossible mysteries."

Seph picked up speed, still moving gently, kissing her deeply.

Gabrielle frowned, the sensation started building. it felt... good. she didn't like it, not coming from him. what was he doing to her? she tried to break away, no longer returning the kiss. she had had enough now. she'd rather be beaten

Artemis tilted her head "read some to me?"

Kale nodded and sat back in the couch, opening his arm to her so she could sit beside him. He found the begining of the book and began to read to her.

Seph wrapped his arms around her as if embracing her, but really was just holding her there, no space between their bodies as he kissed across her chest, still continuing.

"what are you doing to me?" Gabrielle whimpered, hiding a moan as a fire burned in her, getting hotter by the second.

Artemis laid her head on his chest, listening to him read in utter fascination. he read so easily, how?

Kale continued to read until, before he knew it, they had finished the book.

Seph smiled against her skin and kissed up her neck, moving a faster, still being gentle as he kissed her passionately, his lips coaxing a response from her.

gabrielle didn't kiss him back, self loathing filling her and the fire began to rule her thoughts "stop it" she begged, her breathing ragged even though she wasn't doing anything.

Artemis glanced up at him and frowned "it's over?"

"Well, this one is. There are more books in the series." Kale smiled down at her. "Would you like to read another?"

Seph didn't stop, he filled his movements with more passion, kissing across her skin, his lips lingering each time.

Gabrielle couldn't help the moan that escaped her lips, her body tingling with pleasure "please" she sobbed, another moan following it. "please"
she never begged for mercy before. she was begging now.

Artemis pursed her lips and looked at her own book sadly "no" she decided
"I have a bet to win"

Kale chuckled and smiled with a nod. "How about you read to me this time?"

Seph ignored her please, enjoying her moans, they only encouraged him. He continued, lasting for what seemed like hours. Going until he couldn't anymore, then finding a pool of energy somewhere deep inside him, and using that to continue. He finally slowed after that last reserve was spent, and pressed into her, still being gentle, and stayed there as he kissed her deeply, passionately. He was happy with himself. Now he could shake things up a bit.

Gabrielle just laid their, her body shimmer with pleasure, her breathing ragged, her heart stuttering.
She hated it. She wanted to claw her way out of her skin right now and escape.
she felt wonderful. he made her fell wonderful. it was terrible. she wanted to die.

Artemis gave a heavy sigh "okay... you asked for it" she opened the book and began to read out loud, blushing profusely as she tripped over ever other word

Kale smiled and listened to her read, patiently helping her with words she didn't know.

Seph began moving again, only to slow and stop inside her. He kissed the hollow of her neck and pulled away reluctantly and dressed himself, taking her back to her cell, and putting her inside, then walked away. Peter immediately retreated back to his body after Seph left

Gabrielle didn't move, just stared at the ceiling, still trying to catch her breath.
what had just happened?

Artemis slowly picked up sped, soon it only taking her an hour to read ten pages instead of four. She finally tossed the book down, frustrated with herself.

Kale looked at her. "What's wrong? You were doing great!"

Peter- at the beach

Artemis shook her head, scowling, "a two year old could do better than me"

Kale raised and brow and shook his head. "No, two year olds barely know how to talk." He picked up the book, opened it to the page they were on and handed it back to her. "It just takes practice Artemis. You're not going to get it right away."

Artemis sighed picking up where she left off and struggling her arse off

Gabrielle didn't move, just cried as the pleasure lingered far longer than she'd like
