Daughter of Darkness

Kale looked at Artemis then at Gabrielle, not exactly sure how to answer that. He knew he loved her, but did she love him?

"of course" artemis chirped, the true meaning of the question going over her head.
gabrielle sighed and stood up, leaving without a word. She walked outside, quiet and solemn, sitting next to peter

"It lies." Mirissa grumbled, her hands tightening around his neck as she kissed him fiercely.

"Daddy?" She asked again shaking him a little harder. "You alright?"

Seph opened his eyes and looked around. "You! Where have you been?" He asked as he sat up.

Jack easily gave in again as he kissed her back as he lowered back into his initial position, finding his way back inside her.

Kale looked at Artemis and smiled.

Peter' face was solem as he stared at the grass, very much aware of Gabrielle beside him, though he didn't acknowledge.

"hey" gabrielle said, her voice soft

"Hey," Peter murmured, his eyes still on the grass

"you..you okay?" Gabrielle asked, studying him

Dani shrugged and moved back, wincing slightly at the pain in her leg. "Outside." She tried not to stare at him. "What happened?"

It didn't take long for Mirissa to be lost in his touch once again.

Jack was happily lost in Mirissa

"Outside? Why were you outside?" Seph watched her with his cold eyes.

Peter gave a small nod. "Ya, you?"

Gabrielle sighed and looked around "I suppose" she fell awkwardly silent, not sure how to mend the rift between them

"Do I have to have a reason?" Dani retorted sarcastically, fear not really registering at the moment. "I felt like it."

"Yes, you have to have a reason." Seph growled as he got up and walked out, locking her inside. "Especially since you're suppose to be in a cell and not outside. I'll be having a talk with Coral." He muttered and started down the hall.

Peter didn't offer up anything in the silence. He was to use to it by now, the silence between them. He stared at his hands and took a deep breath. "Where do you plan to go after this?" he finally asked.

Coral was skipping down the hall, glad to have her sister back. her childish voice rang though the air as she sang to herself, searching for prisoners to play with.

"i..I don't know" gabrielle admitted "disney land?" she joked weakly

Dani stared at the door for a moment, "I guess you don't care about the freaks location anymore." She muttered darkly, scooting back into a corner of the cell. "I'm not gonna tell you now, I just remembered that I hate you."

Peter gave a small smile, though he didn't look up from his hands. "Do you really plan to leave?"

Seph glared at Dani, but thought better of it, figuring she was lying. That was ok though, he knew how to take care of liars. As he rounded the corner he saw Jake and sent him to her cell, then went to find Coral.

Coral- still wandering happily

gabrielle sighed, her thoughts a jumbled mess "you really won't let me go?" she asked back

Jake smirked and walked into the cell, Dani looked up at the noise and paled immediately. Forcing herself to look strong she glared at him as he stepped forward. "Touch me and I aware I'll -,"
"You'll what?" Jake asked with a smirk, grabbing her arm and pulling her up onto her feet roughly. "Tell on me to your Dad? He sent me here."
Dani bit back a cry as his leg slammed into her broken one as he pushed her against the wall. She began struggling and he smirked kicking her again.

Seph found Coral and he frowned. "Coral." his voice was stern, cold.

Jack didn't stop until Mirissa had passed out. When she did, he sat there for a moment, trying to catch his breath, then slipped out of the bed and pulled on his boxers and a pair of pants and wandered to the kitchen to get her food.

Peter glanced at her. "No. Not without me."

Coral froze and stopped short, looking up "yes, daddy?" she chirped

Gabrielle didn't say anything.. she didn't know what to say. She bit her lip and swallowed hard, slipping her hand into his

Dani couldn't help the tear that pricked her eye, but she didn't .make a noise. He might like that. With a smirk Jake grabbed her roughly and dragged her over to the wall with chains and proceeded to chain her to the wall. Dani couldn't keep quiet any longer, crying out as he slapped the leg with one of the chains and kicked her again before stepping forward and kissing her fiercely.

Peter looked at their hands, a little shocked and startled. But he didn't pull his hand away. Instead he gave hers a light squeeze and went back to staring at the grass.

"How did Dani get out of her cell?" Seph asked, his voice unnervingly calm.

"i-i-i let her out" Coral responded, her voice quivering slightly

Gabrielle looked to him, still remaining quiet
