Daughter of Darkness

Dani continued to struggle as he pulled out a dagger like she used to use and slowly cut her clothing off, making sure to cut the skin. She bit her lip to keep from crying out again and glared at him, aiming a kick from her good foot at his family jewels, Jake caught it and kept a hold as he dropped his pants and stepped towards her.

"Why did you let her out?" Seph said as he took a step towards her.

Peter took a deep breath and glanced at Gabrielle. "Should we go back inside?"

Gabrielle nodded "perhaps"

Coral didn't step back, afraid that would only encourage him. She knew she was going to get it. she had to be strong.
"cause I wanted her to escape" she answered honestly

"Why?" Seph growled.

Peter sighed and kept hold of her hand. After a long moment he finally stood and wiated for her, not sure if he was suppose to still be holding her hand or not.

Coral flinched "cause she's my sister."

Gabrielle left her hand in his standing up besides him

Jake grabbed the broken leg harshly and twisted both of the legs around him and forcing himself upon her. Dani felt tears fall down her cheeks, he was being anything but gentle, every movement meant to cause pain as he jerked her legs back and forth with him. She realized then that there wasn't a place for her anywhere. This is how she was treated in the place most resembling a home to her. And she couldn't blamethe freaks for hating her and treating her the way they did. The tears fell faster as she let herself cry.

Peter gave a small smile and led her back inside. "You still hungry?"

Seph growled and his hand came across her face. "How dare you defi(I have no idea how to spell that so I'm not even gonna try) me."

Coral took the slap and stared at the floor, remaining silent

Gabrielle shook her head "I'm fine, you?"

"I'm alright." Peter said, giving her hand another squeeze.

Kale looked at Artemis. "How's the book coming?"

Jack got the food and went back to his room, setting it to the side as he slipped back into the bed with her.

Seph was seething with rage.

When he was done Jake dropped her legs, making sure to hit the broken one with that permanent smirk. "I'll come again later. Nice seeing you." He said over his shoulder as he walked out leaving her crying and chained to the wall.

Coral looked up "you aren't going to hurt her again, right? she didn't do anything wrong" she squeaked

Gabrielle sighed "you sure?"she persisted "eat something, please?"

"ten more pages till the end" Artemis grinned, proud of herself to day the least

Mirissa stirred a little, and curled into him. Her face buried itself in his side as she caught to stay asleep. With a sigh her eyes opened and she grinned at him. "Hello."

Jack smiled. "Hello, I brought food." He wrapped his arms around her happily.

Peter looked at her. "I did."

Kale smiled at her. "That's awesome. You're doing amazing."

Seph stared at her and didn't say anything.

Mirissa grinned, her stomach rumbling at the words. "Yum!" She debated the fact she would have to move to eat trying to decide if it was worth leaving his arms for.

Coral's eyes widened and she started beating on him with her fist "how could you?" she yelled, tears threatening to fall


Gabrielle scoffed "a bit doesn't count"

"Thank you" artemis grinned "I had a great teacher"

jack handed her the food with a smile

kale chuckled and shook his head "you did it all on your own"

peter raised a brow "it doesn't?"

Seph didn't move, he just watched her

his stony indifference scared coral, so she she put more force behind her blows, trying to get something, anything out of him

Gabrielle eyed him, "no, it does. please?"

Forgetting manners as if she ever had any Mirissa happily scarfed the food down. "Thanks." She told Jack with a smile.

Jack chuckled and kissed her nose. "You're welcome."

Seph growled and grabbed her by the wrist, draggin her inside the nearest cell, he sat on the cot, throwing her over his knee and began to spank her. Hard.

Peter looked at her then gave a small nod. "Alright."

that was it? Coral was excepting more, much more. I mean sure this hurt, but dani had had much worse. She went limp in his arms, taking it

Gabrielle relaxed some "thank you" they made their way inside and Artemis visibly perked as she spotted them holding hands

Peter followed quietly.

Kale looked at them and smiled as he watched them.

Seph threw her to the ground and began to beat her

okay.. ouch. that was more like him. Coral curled up in a ball and tried not to scream, this was for her sister after all. Good thing he never found out about the guard as well ...or do he? o.e

Gabrielle sat back down, remaining quiet and she handed peter back his plate.

Mirissa smiled and moved closer so she could kiss him better. "Love you."
