Evil is the new Black.

Laila- "Things aren't always what they seem though, are they? Well, you could always stay here for awhile. It's probably about as safe as you'll get. Of course, no one's pressuring you to stay either. If you want to go you can." I pause for a minute. "Sorry, I'm not good at stuff like this."

Mikey: "I'll probably hide out here, since I doubt she knows where I am now. It's okay, I suppose I'm probably worse."

Laila- I laugh. "No, I think you're doing pretty good for being in a new place and all. This all must be pretty strange to you."

Mikey: "I've grown used to knew places. The only place I've stayed for a while was my hometown, which isn't safe anymore. It's strange how much I've forgotten about my past. . ." I sighed.

Laila- "Would you rather remember?" I ask, actually intruiged.

Mikey: "What, you want to know?" I asked, curious as to what her answer would be.

Laila- "Yeah." I said a little surprised at the question.

Mikey: "Well, I grew up in a small city called Masquiott. My parents, well, I'd rather not talk about them died when I was 14, and I went from foster home to foster home until I was 16. I ran away, and the hunters showed up so I've been wandering ever since." I took a breath, "There is a much bigger story behind it, but I'd rather not go into full detail."

Laila- "That's fine. From what you've said, it sounds like you've had a hard life. There is one question though, if you cant answer that's okay, but why are these people after you? You're not a serial killer are you?"

Mikey: "Yeah, my life has been anything but easy. Oh, I'll tell you, but you must keep it a secret at all costs. I'm not a serial killer, but I'm a half demon."

Laila- I'm more than a little surprised at this. Ever since I learned I could use magic, I had been studying other magical things and creatures, yet I hadnt heard much about half demons. "What do you mean half demon? Like, what is that exactly, what makes you different than a regular human?"

Mikey: "My father was a demon, and my mother was a human, so I'm a mix of both. I'm surprised you didn't react differently. . ."

Laila- "How did you think I'd react?"

Mikey: "Like everyone else. Immediately hate me for what I am, not for who I am behind the demon side. I just hate it when people all of a sudden hate me for my species."

Laila- "I have no reason to hate you, I barely know you. Besides, if you were completely evil, I would probably be dead right now. But I do have to ask, since you're half demon, does that mean you do have the urge to kill, or is that part not so dominate?"

Mikey: "Well, at times I could lose control, but my human form is pretty much dominate. Yeah, you probably would be dead if I had lost control already."

(I gotta go.)

Laila- "That's reasurring. Do you have like, super strength or something?"

Mikey: "Um, well. Sort of. My powers are so ever-changing that I can't really tell you what exactly I can do."

Laila- "That's interesting, ever changing powers." I think for a minute. "Do you like being half demon?"

Mikey: "No, I don't, actually. If I could, I would get rid of my powers. They don't do me any good, anyway."

Laila- "They must be of help sometimes."

(sorry so late, computer malfunction)

Mikey: "Not really. . ."

(Oh, okay.)

Laila- "Not even against this person chasing you?"

(yeah, i keep having to log out if i want to see new posts. im a the library right now, so i think its just the computer)
