The Fast and the Furriest.

Freya: The raven's anxiety was highly amusing, to say the least. I gave a snake-y laugh at Peter with the cat on his head. "Peter, i commend your patience. If it were me, id have bitten him by now." i said dryly. "Hmm, someone else?" i said, thinking aloud. My tongue flicked out, trying to get a good scent of the new animal-person-thing.

Mr.Face:

I took a moment to try opening those infernal eyes again.
This...This was outside. The eyes were shut again, and I attempted my usual clicking. This did not compute apparently, and it came out as...some kind of loud noise.
I did not want to be outside.

Cricket

"A'ready on it," I said, and lurked closer to the hairy beast. It didn't look too friendly. Oi my my. Finally, I was only a yard or so away . . . its eyes were closed. These crazy instincts were telling me to keep low, so I did. "Pardon . . . 'ave you always been an animal?" I mewed.

Mr.Face:

A voice.
I heard a voice...and I was outside...and I had eyes.
Alright.
I decided to answer the voice. "No." I stated, still terribly uncomfortable here...outside.
And the sky...I had seen it. It was just as scary looking as it sounded.

"Yes, yes it is!" Felix sang in a sing song voice. He nibbled on the dogs ear again and then slid down to his back. "You are like a jungle gym!" He jumped a couple times on the dogs back.

Peter

"That's it," I grumbled. I'd had about enough of this cat climbing all over me. I flared up my heat power a little, making my pelt incredibly hot. That should get him off pretty quickly.

Cricket

That voice . . . and the eye thing . . . no, I was just crazy, it couldn't be him. But just to be safe . . . "Ah, 'ave you ever been blind b'fore, per chance?"

Bugsy

I grinned, sniffing around some more. My tail picked up speed. "Oh, whataninterestingspecimen we have here! Deer, yes? Willyoubemyfriend? Willyoubefriendswithmyfriends? CHIPMUNK!" I froze, watching a little mousy creature dart up a tree, growling. It left. Oh. Shame. "Willyoubemyfriend?"

Mr.Face:

"Is it that painfully obvious?" I asked, still trying to listen for someplace...not outside...where I could...I don't know...Try and sort out the sensory overload that came along with opening my eyes.
That sounded exceptionally strange.
My eyes.

Peter

Oh GODS no. Tell me this wasn't... Aw crap.

"You didn't ever...happen to be a dictator of a city before, did you?" I asked, hoping to any higher power that may have been listening that this was not the case.

Hitomi
Friends...? What, i could understand it too? "...Do you have other friends...?" I ask carefully. There were those other dogs before....

Cricket

o.o

Oh bother.

I looked at Peter, ready to get out of there. I was no longer curious, in the least.

Mr.Face:

Where were these people getting their information? Although...They didn't sound like people. I suppoused I could just open my eyes and check...but...that would involve opening my eyes.
I hazarded a glance. Just enough to confirm, and then shut them again. They were not people.
"How on Erf did you manage to divine that?" I asked.

Peter

"Er...well, it's like this..." I trailed off. I did not want to have this conversation! In fact, I would have been perfectly fine to just turn around and run away from here without looking back.

Leave Mr. Face to flounder around by himself.

Bugsy

My tail continued to wag. "Friends! Friends yeah! Over here, friends!" I pranced off, stopping and looking back once to see if she was following.

Cricket

So . . . were we going to have this awkward conversation with someone nobody particularily liked, or were we going to leave him to flounder by himself? I really, really wanted to go. "Ah . . ."

Hitomi
I step lightly. Deer always have a way about always looking cautious. Maybe they just can't help it. But my ears prick forwards, a little more trusting of the dog, walking a little more confidently as time passed and I got used to the new limbs.

Felix jumped up to the dogs head again. "Ow!" he looked over at the creature they were talking to.
"He scares me." he whispered in the big dogs ear.

Peter

"I said get off of me already!" I snapped at the cat, making my head incredibly hot as well. "I don't want to hurt you, but if you keep this up, you will get burned. I'm not some kind of play structure!"

Mr.Face:

And the two were resorting to Namechovian dialogue techniques. Lovely. "Are you going to extrapolate or am I just going to have to fill in the blanks with the most epileptic tree theory I can possibly conjure?" I asked irritatedly.
My irritation probably would have decreased tenfold if this wasn't outside.
Someone mentioned that I was scary.
Good.

Felix glared down at the doggy. "Fine. I'll get off. You stopped being fun anyway." He jumped down to the ground and shook his fur out. He glades up to the scary guy again.

Peter

"Good," I told the cat curtly. Hopefully, he wouldn't try that again. Then I turned to Cricket...who was also a cat. That would take some getting used to. I might've already mentioned that, though I could be wrong. "I...think we should go. Don't you?"

Cricket

Insert string of words that I could only grasp by context. Yup. It was him, alright. I looked up at Peter. "Aye."


Bugsy

I started prancing again, skidding to a clumsy stop behind the group of dogs. I stopped dead-still when I saw that bear creature thing, and growled. "BEAR!" My growl turned into a bark. "HE'LL EAT YOU!"

Mr.Face:

They were withholding information. "You are withholding information. Stop that." I stated. I wasn't in a situation to be excessively verbose...what with the sky and...the eyes...and all of that. "Please." I remembered my manners.

Hitomi
"Bear?" I look over the tallest dog. Aparently there was a snake and a raven in the group too. And two cats. That wasn't a bear... "It's a wolverine..." And wolverines didn't belong in suburbia. What the heck was going on?
