Daughter of Darkness

Artemis nodded, kissing him harder, crying out slightly as he faded away and she woke to find herself in damians arms.
Her eyes widened, pain filling her at having to wake.
kale....
She sobbed to herself, trying to pretend that this was a dream and her dreams were in fact the real world

Damian looked at her and sighed, rubbing her back gently as he tried to comfort her. He sang a soft lullaby he had learned from one of the nursery gaurds.

Artemis hicuped and pulled away, her limbs sore from all the shivering she had done earlier. she watched him, trying to memorize the.. song? was that what it was called?

Mirissa was sound asleep on his chest, curled tightly against him with a small smile on her lips. For the first time in a long time she'd slept without one nightmare. Seems she'd found her new person to scare away the nightmares.

Jake slowed after awhile, pressing deep into her and giving a deep kiss to her lips as he did. "Love you." He said and truely meant it. Love was a mysterious feeling to him but he new one thing, he felt it for her.

Damian watched her, his arms loose around her. He stopped the song and just looked at her. "You ok?" He asked quietly.

"Love you," Jenny murmered between moans and kisses, clinging to him as best she could. Her body was exauhsted and felt like jello, but she liked it. She didn't want him to ever stop.

Tucker smirked at her and shook his head, looking around. He rubbed his eyes as he tried to wake up a bit more. Then he just laid there, holding her. She needed the sleep.

Artemis hicupped again and opened her mouth to speak, but couldn't bring herself to say any word. She gave up and reached out with her mind "why do you care?"

ekk, I'mma getting ready to leave for work... 30 minutes more.. you around?

"Because," Damian said. Because he loved her. But obviously she had issues with the L word. "I just do." He watched her carefully. "So, how are you feeling?"

Artemis swallowed hard and shivered slightly "yes," she relented, her stomaching growling

Damian watched her and sighed, wrapping the blanket back around her. "I'm going to go see if there is anything to eat," he murmered quietly and stood, walking towards the kitchen.

Mirissa stirred a little, yawning as she opened her eyes and looked at him. They got big as she frowned for a moment trying to remember why she was there. When she did she relaxed and laid her head back down on him. "Hello."

Jake smiled and held her close, still moving a little. That was really all he could manage at the moment, being as exhausted as he was.

Artemis stared after him, tears pricking her eyes. She wasn't tired, but she wondered I she could fall asleep if she tried. She leaned her head back and closed her eyes

"Hello," Tucker said with a small smile. "Sleep well?" He asked as he watched her.

Jenny held to him happily, her mind and body drowning in him and the pleasure he caused.

Damian came back with two glass jars that he had broken the top off of. He handed one to her. "Careful not to cut yourself," he murmered.

Artemis sighed and opened her eyes; accepting the jar and slurping at it silently. She watched him, wanting more stories. She pushed this feeling into his mind

Damian sighed as he at the food in his jar, telling her the story of A Walk to Remember. Yet another book he had stolen from one of the gaurds.

Mirissa looked to him and smiled softly, "Yes, and you?" She asked happily, her hands still curled into fists against his chest.

Jake laid with her finally stopping altogether as he kisses her one more time.

Are is immersed herself in the story, looking around the cottage. Would they be staying here forever? She pushed that though into his mind as well

Damian paused in the middle of the story and looked at her. "Do you know of somewhere else we could go?"

Jenny kissed him back, keeping a tight hold on him so he would pull away and leave her. She then laid her head on his chest and fell asleep.

Tucker gave a small nod. "Yes, I slept well." He smiled at her, his brow raised as he wondered exactly how long he slept.

Jake -

Mirissa smiled at him and pulled back a little, eyeing the window. "Huh, we must of slept for at least five hours." She informed him then went to stand yawning again as she pulled from the last bits of sleep in her system.

Artemis shrugged, going back to slurping her jar "no?"

Tucker sat up, holding his arms out so he could catch her just incase she fell over. He still felt tired and pretty drained, but he felt better than he did before and that's what mattered. That and the fact that Mirissa actually looked healthy again.

Damian watched her and gave a small nod as he thought for a while. "Well, we'll have to stay here for at least a few more days so we can get supplies together and stuff before we leave. Just incase we can't find somewhere else."

Artemis Nodded going back to her food, her stomah clenched unhappily, not use to eating so much. She sighed, remembering what kale had taught her on that, and placed down the still full jar

Damian sighed and set his jar down as well, having lost his appatite for food. He looked over at her and noticed her book. "What's that one called?" He asked curiously.

Artemis looked to book and her face crumbled. Her eyes went dead as tears filled them.
Kale...

Damian sighed and pushed the story of Jaimie and Landon back to the top of his mind, trying to distract her with it.
