"okay" Artemis lied, stealing his warmth. "I missed you" she pulled herself up, once again trying to memorize his perfect features

hmm...where should I put it?

Kale looked down at her and gave a small smile. "I missed you too," his eyes searched hers, wishing there was some way he could make everything better. "How is Damian treating you?"

Tucker froze slightly and shook his head. "No, no I'm not." He muttered and walked into the kitchen to make a sandwhich, not wanting to be part of that group of 'good' people.

Artemis shrugged, still taking in his features "he gave me peaches that taste like mold.. and he tells stories. won't you come back? It hurts"

Mirissa stared after him confused, then a little irritated. Well, if he was going to act like that. Annoyance displayed clearly on her face she walked outside without a second thought. If he wasn't going to explain anything to her then she was going on a walk, without him.

Tucker followed after her, staying out of sight by disolving. He didn't want her to get hurt or worse, captured.

(bah! COME BACK ELLA SO I CAN POST THAT THINGY! what do you think about making Kale take over Damian's body?)

Kale looked at Artemis and sighed, brushing her hair from her face. "What if I was in a different body?" He asked, searching her face. "What if I could come back, but in someone else's body?"

Artemis looked up at him, wide eyed, hoping filling her eyes. "don't, don't mess with me kale, I don't think I could take it"

"No, really. What if I could? Would you still love me then? Even if I wasn't in my own body, if I was in someone elses?" Kale watched her carefully, waiting to see her reaction.

Artemis eyed him for a moment before crushing her lips up against his, letting that answer his question

Kale smiled as he kissed her back, holding her close. He pulled away and looked down at her. "I can use Damian's body...but..." he looked at her and sighed. "You'll have to kill him first. I can't take over a body that is being used."

*blink blink*

Grumbling to herself about men she started walking in a random direction, not really caring where she was going. These emotions were starting to get on her nerves. All she fought as the annoyance began to wear off and she couldn't really figure out why she was mad in the first place. Sighing she found herself getting a slight frown as the ground beneath her feet started to be littered with sticks and leaves. Huh. She musta somehow gone into the forest.

Tucker sighed, reforming infront of her. "Come on," he said taking her hand and turning her around, leading her back towards the house.

Mirissa jumped at his touch and glared at the fuzzy black cloud that WA his movement. "What are you doing out here?" She grumbled, then her eyes lit up with annoyance and understanding. "You followed me!" She glared fiercer in his direction and tugged at her hand in his.

Artemis pulled out of the dream, crying to herself. it was just a dream. kale wasn't here, with her. it was just a dream. how cruel. She sobbed, the plant and book flying to her side

Damian was sitting next to her still, sighing as he watched her. He put a gentle, loose arm around her, rubbing her arm comfortingly. He didn't know what else to do besides just...just be there.

Tucker frowned. "Well, duh. I told you. I'm gonna protect you, even if that includes following you out into the middle of no where." He sighed and lifted her up and over his shoulder, carrying her back to the house and setting her on the porch.

Artemis fell into his arms, seeking, needing some comfort, even if it wasn't kales. it all seemed so real, she really thought he had been there, with her. how cruel. she was ready to die now.
