NaNoWriMo Character Chat

(I just realized that so far, all of my main characters' names start with 'E'
Erin
Eden
and Echo.)

Luke: I noticed a girl staring at us, should I say hi, again? Well it worked the first time on Serena.
"Hello?"

Serena: "No, don't talk to her!" I whispered and attempted to pull him further down the street, hoping the girl hadn't heard.

Erin: My head snaps up towards a boy who appears to have said something to me. "Hi," I shyly say. He appears nice, though the girl near him seems frightened. It was times like these that I wished Will was here with me.

Luke: "Wait, what's wrong?" I pulled back from Serena. It was rude to leave Erin standing along when I just said hi. "Come on, Serena."

Serena: I bit my lip, and crossed my arms, which made me feel protected and safe. At least when the spy took me captive Luke could tell my parents that I loved them. Wait, he didn't even know who my parents were, so that would be a problem. No, I would be taken captive and all my parents would have left of me was my rushed goodbye this morning. I felt a tear in my eye, but knew it was ridiculous to cry in this situation, so I wiped it away and instead forced a smile for the girl.

Erin: I frown at the girl before me, and resist the urge to enter her mind. Its not the right thing to do, I think as I try to return the smile. "Hello," I say softly towards the girl.

Luke: I turned around and saw a something moist on Serena's eyes. Crap! Did I make her cry? Crap! S***.

"Are you okay? What's wrong?" I asked, softly.

Serena:"Nothing, just talk to the girl." I snapped, then turned and faced the girl he'd said "hi" to. "Hi, what's your name?"

Luke: I stepped back and walked away without them.

Erin: "Erin," I say. The girl appears upset. I bet Will could fix things up, I think as I watch the girl. Her eyes were moist, but I said nothing about this.

Serena: "Hi, Erin, you want to walk with us? You do? Okay, come on." I didn't wait for an answer, and hurried after Luke. "What are you doing? Why'd you just walk away?"

Luke: I tried to keep my anger in check. I knew this wasn't big, and it wasn't her fault, but every little thing that set me off would make me angry.
"Sorry, I'm just really hungry."

Erin: I stand still for a moment before I hurry after this girl. "What is your name?" I call as I lengthen my stride.

Serena: "Me, too, hold on a second." I hear Erin over my shoulder. I was still weary of this girl, what if she was a spy? So I evade her question. "We're going to get ice cream, Erin, wanna come along?

Erin: "Sure," I say slowly, and then repeat myself. "So what is your name?"

Luke: Serena didn't answer question, maybe she didn't want her to know her name. Maybe I should distract Erin. I turned around to face them. "Where are you from, Erin?" I asked.

Serena:I silently thanked Luke, he had probably picked up on my hesitance. I fell into step with the two, waiting for her to tell us about where she lives.

Luke: I shot Serana a smile.

(Kelly left at the worst possible moment...:/ Hmmm)

Erin: "In Oregon," I mutter. My eyes train onto the ground, avoiding the others.

(You have beem complaining and now?
Nothing.)

Luke: I sighed. Remember that I had to go to Portland, Oregon to fight a carbon-copy of Dave Tyler. And Dave Tyler was considered almost as powerful as Sean. I shook my head, trying to get rid of those thoughts.
"Cool, I never been there."

Serena: "Yeah, me either." I spoke quietly, hoping for the attention to stay focused on Luke. I still wasn't sure about that Erin girl, especially now that she was being so persistent about asking my name.
