Lucius pulled out his schedule and handed it to her. "I was late for almost all of them, due to getting lost. Not a good first impression."

Kaden threw him a smile. "Thanks. I really hate these lockers." She shoved her books in, since she was done with her homework, grabbed her coat and closed it again. "I'm Kaden."

I look at her. I smile and gesture at the custodian, "Guess" I say mysetriously. I needed to learn more about her. Because of the nature of her power did she carry a lighter with her everywhere? I would. But that was me.

"Close" I say. "Basically after I touch someone they are under my control yes but they also have no secrets from me, so I guess I can read minds too if I touch them". Most people hate my power. I myself hate it too. I cannot touch anyone without them hating me for invading their privacy. If I shake hands with someone even if I don't take control of them I still can see their past. I despise, there are some things I rather wouldn't see.

I nod. I'm bored of school for the day. Thinking of my power stirred up bad memories. I say, "Whatever" I am suddenly in a sullen mood. Mad at the world. I walk out of the building. Nobody cares if you are at school when you are a villian it's expected that you skip. I sit down on a bench in the park hands in my pockets. It starts to rain, "D***" I mutter. I just sit in the rain. I have nothing else to do.

"Hey, thanks a lot. I owe you." Lucius gave her a smile as they began the tour. He couldn't stop watching her. Her eyes, hair, everything about her intrigued him and pulled his gaze to her. She was gorgeous in physically every way. and so far, she seemed really nice too.

Angel rose her brow a little as they neared the gym.
"Shape-shifting? Interesting....like anything or just animals?" She asked pulling opener the gym door.

We knew each other's names, and we'd talked. That negated the "total stranger" status in my book.

"Yeah, you're right, and thanks for listening to my little rant. Whose your teacher?"

Depending on who it was the class would be in this hallway or the next. Cole glanced at his watch quickly and couldn't help but give an even bigger smirk. He'd managed to use up at least fifteen minutes of the time he would've been yelled at in the principal's office.

We'd been walking for quite a bit; we must've been pretty close now. Thinking about it, I was actually glad that I'd been so late in getting to the halls. If I hadn't gotten myself hopelessly lost, I wouldn't have met Cole.

"Well, then we're here. Its about two feet ahead of you to your right." He opened the door quickly, ignoring the curious stares of the students inside and a glare from the teacher. "The doors open."

I was pretty much automatically excused every time I was late to class. For obvious reasons. It really wasn't too hard for me to get lost when there weren't any aura lights to go by. Of course, this sort of thing didn't happen too often anyway, so it was pretty forgivable when it did happen.

Cole stood in the doorway for a moment longer with a smile.

"You're welcome, " he steeped awy from the door, a few fingers lingering on the edge. "See ya."

Then he let go and glances at his watch again. Running a hand through his hair Cole started down the hall a moment later. He'd stalled as long as he could. Time to see the principal .....
