A Basic Chat of Basicness

Brandon's eyes drifted shut a little as he relaxed on the steps of some random house. When the owners came out they would probably make him leave, but for right now he was good. Sounds of breaking glass echoed from inside the building and Brandon smile a little, wonderful. That meant they would be too distracted for awhile to make him leave.

.....(all the stuff i lost)...(Errabella thinks its her Uncle Jack)..... No more. Errabella approached the door with a cold, hard fist. This was going to feel good.

(aahhh..... how to jump in?)

Brandon was basically asleep on the steps. His mind wondering to what he would have to do tomorrow. Find some food was first on the list. But where to do that? Well, he could run out on a bill at some restaurant. That usually worked. He let the idea run through his sleepy mind.

Well...This was...Not home.
It looked about the same brightness as SInk Pump was at night....but without nearly as much epilepsy on a stick...And there were things in the roads that I had once been introduced to as cars.
They were kind of scary seeing them from a non-passenger point of view...I mean...How was I suppoused to cross the street? They...Were so fast...
For that matter...did I even want to cross the street? Not right now I guess...So I walked along the surprisingly well paved sidewalk, to erm...well...forward. I guess... Yeah.
I noticed a few streetsigns...Not that they meant anything to me...But...Nice to know they were there.
I continued walking...Uhm...And I was kinda cold? Well...It was chillier than Auda standard temperature...And...It was like...Halfway between raining and not raining... Which was something that happened in Auda, but not often enough to give me a word for the occurrence...
I hit another intersection. Well...That was...Not going to be fun. And then...suddenly...All the cars stopped...as though through some kind of WiFi intervention or something. And I crossed that street without incedent, staring at the chunky white lines painted across the road under my feet.
And continued forward again...To...erm...I really had no idea where.

Artemis and Megan walked faster down the cold street. Artemis had kept the rain from touching them. She made sure that Megan didnt get wet or Artemis would be screaming as Megan would come after Artemis screaming "LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID!!!"
