The Amazing Brain

You're finally living the life that you've always wanted. A college student. The parties, the booze, the hot girls, the hot guys. It's your years of expirimentation and individuality. You're finally on the path to success and you know that now, you'll be able to make it big. Things are a breeze! WAIT! Who're you kidding? It sucks. The fees feel like they're suffocating you, you barely have as many friends as letters in your name, and you're falling behind.

Then, you find it.

A poster of one of the corkboards at school. You read over it quickly, not really interested. But then you see it. Free board for a year. A whole year! It's nearly too good to be true. You instantly grab your cellphone and then stop, rethinking what might happen if you call. The college has good enough credentials and if there was some sort of creep running around the campus, you'd probably heard of it by now. You rip the posted off and bring it up to your room.

After what seems like a long time, you finally call and sign up. They tell you that they'll call back in a few hours. You anxiously wait in your room for the call and finally you get it. You're in the program and no more having to pay for this overpriced refridgerator box anymore! You quickly pack all of your stuff up and then get a text that a car will be sent to get you in the morning to bring you to your new home, not even a few blocks from campus.

~THE NEXT MORNING~

You wake up with a start and then grab your bags. As you approach, a small white car comes to pick you up from the front gates of the campus. You're driven to the house in silence. When you arrive, you're more than impressed. The house is full of old world charm, large and whimisical. It seems slightly worn down, but it doesn't look bad. When you get inside, there are rooms, each labeled with a name on a door. You find your name and begin to settle in. Under your pillow, you find a note and a journal.

You have graciously donated a full year of your time to spend in the Wondsor House, home of psychological experiments. You will be expected to do one thing, and one thing only. Write in your journal every other day. No matter how little or how much, we'd like to see some sort of behavioral pattern. You will be cut off from the outside world, with no television or internet or phones, but that it one of our variables. We ask you refrain from usage of cellular phones. There is a full block on all cell phone transmissions which interrupts the signal and shuts the phone off. Please follow all the rules, which are simple: No rules, and enjoy your stay.

Able was the first to arrive at the Wondsor house. He roamed the house, finding a room with his name on the door. He walked inside and flopped down on the bed, unloading his bags, all of his desk things, clothes, and clean bedding. He didn't know who had washed the ones on the bed last. When he was finally unpacked, he sat on his bed, hanging out in the silence.

Mai walked into the Windsor house, her bag and trunk being pulled behind her. She walked down the halls and pushed into a room with her name on it. Her bags were unpacked quickly and the foot locker was at the bottom of her bed. Mai set up her room quickly, getting organized so she wouldn’t be stressed with a mess that was sure to come. Hopefully this way she could prevent the mess for a couple weeks. She put her variety of story journals on the left side of the bed next to her pillow and the picture of her family under it.

Samara wasn't sure if anyone else was there as she opened the door to the Windsor house. First thing, she headed upstairs to where the rooms would probably be, and found her name one, next to one that said Able. [i]Hm, interesting name... She thought, opening the door to her room. She didn't bother closing it, and started the task of unpacking all her crap.

Landon arrived at the Windsor house with a dubious look in his eyes. This may have been some sort of a mistake. He quickly found his room, realizing that others were probably here. He found the room with his name on it, next to one person. he was on the end of the hall. He dropped off all of his stuff and started cleaning his room for the next year.

Mai walked out into the hall and survied the rooms around her. one of the rooms next to her had the name Landon printed on it. another one, across the hall, was Able and the once next to his Samara. She wondered how many others would be here.

Ashina looked around the lobby of the huge oldish house. It was pretty cool, way better than the dorms at college. She heard noise upstairs, quickly trotting up them and finding a room with her name on it. She opened the door and looked around the very spacious room. She grinned widely, throwing her bags on the ground. So. Much. Better!

How did I know Mai was going to be next to Landon?

Ember walked into the Windsor House, excited that she was going to have a change of scenery. Not that her last college was horrible. She just hated how some of the people were. So immature. She figured this place would be much better. She found her room with her name on it and walked inside to unpack.

Trever walked calmly into the huge house, and glanced around, taking everything in. He headed over to where he supposed the rooms would be and found a door with his name on it. Raising an eyebrow, he walked in and threw all his junk in a corner, then layed on the bed to stare out the window. He saw the journal, and the explanation. Then started unpacking his things, throwing them in random places.

Jenna ran into the house, a big smile on her face. This place was awesome! She flew up the stairs and found her very own room, next to another door that had the name Mai on it. Jenna opened the door and immediately started unpacking, placing everything in neat spots, singing a song under her breath.

Annaleah trotted into the Windosr house, her stomach tied with excitement. She pushed her bangs out of her eyes and started up to the area where she figure the rooms were. She was right. At the start of a hallway was a room where her name was planted on the door. She walked isnide and instantly began to upack her bags. She had a ton of stuff to put away and it would probably take a while. While she unpacked, she turned on her music, letting it play softly.

Elliot trotted through the door, making sure to wipe his shoes and close the door softly. This was a very nice house, something he was used too. It was his third day in the USA, and he still hadn't decided if he liked it. There were so many differences, even in the way people dressed. There were so many styles and weird things. Sometimes he wished it was still like it was a hundred years ago. Walking up the stairs, taking care to make sure his rolling bag didn't scuff the floor, he found a room next to on that said Annaleah. He heard music, but couldn't tell what it was. He walked into his room, set his bags gently on the bed, and began to unpack his neatly folded laundry.

Gracelynn almost glided into the house. She knew this place. Her grandparents had owned it for a few months when she was younger. They never actually lived there before they passed. She walked upstairs and saw a door that had her name on it. She slipped inside with her hundred bags and began unpacking, throwing her clothes on the bed and her bag next to the door. She was more careful with her laptop and stuff. After that was done, she began to put her clothes into the closet in the room.

Liam slowly opened the door to the Windsor house, not sure what to expect. It smelled kinda old, but that only added to it's charm. He took his many bags over the stairs and sighed, picking them all up and dragging them upstairs. He was the first room, so he went in and dropped his load rather loudly. He looked around, nodding slightly and lifting one of the bags to unpack it. It could be a long year, but at least this place was better than the dorm.

Annaleah finally got done with unpacking her things and then headed down to search the rest of the house. Four bathrooms, a kitchen, a lounge area, a living room (neither the lounge or living room had a tv), a study room, and then a dining room. She let out a low wistle and nodded her head, sitting in the lounde room on a big bean bag. This plavce was nice. (And heads up, she's wearing what she is in the picture)

Trever got up, and started poking around the large house. He nodded silently to the other people he passed, and went all around, looking at the place. He noticed a girl sitting in the lounge room, but everyone else was still unpacking. He slid past her and went into the living room. Then he flopped onto a couch and started reading a book, noticing the lack of tvs. Great.

Annaleah raised a brow at the boy who seemingly slid through the lougne past her without a notice. She wasn't sure if he hadn't seen her or something or if he was just ignoring her. She frowned slightly and drew her knees up to her chest.

Trever sighed and set the book down. There was nothing to do right now, so he walked back into the lounge and saw the girl still there. She was...hardcore. Tattoos, dark hair, all kinds of stuff. He didn't have anything to do, and everyone else was still in their rooms. He came over and leaned on the doorframe, set his gaze on her and simply said, "Hey."

Elliot finished putting his stuff away neatly, and put all his suitcases under the bed to store them. He bushed off his clothes and walked over to the full-length mirror, wanting to look his best. His white dress shirt was slightly ruffled, but he straightened it and rolled up the sleeves. His jeans were okay, so he left them alone. His hair was good too, so he decided he should go look for other people. He wandered downstairs and into the kitchen, seeing what kind of stuff they had for him to cook.
