To Love Is Nothing

Jake - "Just honest," I smile.

*New character coming in the witch her name is Nadia*

Nadia - I walk toward the voices I hear in Alex's garden and find a demon and DeJaVu, "Did I interrupt something?" my velvet voice asks.

Elizabeth: "No, not at all..." Or had she? I glanced over at Jake. Then I looked back at the woman with a smile. "You must be the witch Alex keeps talking about. I'm Elizabeth."

Nadia - "Yes, you're the DeJaVu Alex brought in," I look her over. "Where is he?"

Liz: I didn't like the way she was scrutinizing me, and crossed my arms to feel protected. I kept up my smile. "In the house I believe. Do you need to be shown in, or do you know your way around?"

Nadia - I grinned sinisterly, "I know my way around." I say, "Still, it's time for lunch, you better come in."

Jake - I take Liz's hand, "Are you hungry?" I ask.

Alex - I smile as Anastasia walks into the dining room.

Liz: I gulped. "I think I just lost my appetite," But followed Nadia inside the mansion, anyway.

Corrigan: I walked into the dining room and instinctively took the seat next to Anastasia, though I wasn't sure if she wanted me near her. I wasn't sure if she had completely gotten over our fight or not. I nodded in greeting at Alex.

Alex - "Nadia," I greet her as she walks in. She sits on my left opposite of Anastasia and looks at Anastasia with pride.

Nadia - "Anastasia, you are exactly what I expected," I say glancing to Corrigan for a moment.

Jake - I pull out a seat for Liz next to Corrigan.

Liz: "Thanks," I said softly as I sat down. I can feel the tension in the room, and know exactly what's causing it.

Corrigan: I glared at Nadia, who I now knew all about from her thoughts. Why did Alex think I'd like her? Anyone associated with him is my enemy.

Nadia - "Oh Corrigan, please, I can feel the hostility coming off of you," I roll my eyes at him, "Now, Anastasia dear, how do you like the mansion?"

Anastasia - "Oh," I give Corrigan a look, "the people in it are fine, but the mansion itself is just too big for me, I get lost easily."

Jake - "No problem," I whisper.

Corrigan: "That was the intent," I muttered of Nadia's hostility comment.

Liz: I almost reached for Jake's hand under the table, needing something for support. But then I realized that might not be a good idea. What if that made Alex think his plan was working? I glanced at Jake. What if his 'coupling' plan was working?

Nadia - "It's immature," I comment.
Anastasia - I look between Nadia and Corrigan slightly jealous.
Alex - "Nadia, you and I must go out to town now." I leave the room with Nadia trailing behind me.

Corrigan: "Immature?" I spat the word and narrowed my eyes. I rolled my eyes and got over the moment. "Looks like we won't have to deal with them for the night."

Anastasia - "Yeah, he's always going off, you'd think he'd be around to watch us," I comment.

Corrigan: "Well, then free night. Woohoo!" I said sarcastically. Being trapped in this mansion, even unguarded, was a terrible way to spend the night.

Liz: I stood up from the table, and bit my lip. At least I had gotten out of eating dinner.

Jake - "Liz, you look like you're sick," I comment.

Anastasia - "He's right, did she do something to you?" I ask not trusting Nadia one bit, she was trying to take the boy I liked. I so didn't just think that!

Corrigan: I smirked as one of Anastasia's thoughts slipped through. I had promised not to read hers, but every once in awhile I made mistakes. I glanced over at her, and suppressed laughter.

Liz: I shook my head. "I'm-I'm fine..." No, I'm not. My whole world was spinning. I couldn't like Jack, or else I'd be helping Alex. But if I didn't like Jack, I'd break my own heart. I ran out of the room.

Anastasia - "Oh dear," I gasp, "You two stay here I'm going to go check on her." I run after her hoping they would listen.

Jake - "I wonder why she acted like that," I asked Corrigan.

Corrigan: I smirked. "I don't think you want to know," I had read her thoughts, and knew exactly why, of course.

Liz: I ran up the stairs, but got extremely dizzy and collapsed on the landing.

Anastasia - I get Liz in my arms and hold her up, "Liz, please wake up!"

Liz: There was a spot of dark, one that grew and grew, filling me with dread until I screamed a piercing scream and woke up.

((bump?))

Anastasia - "LIZ? WHAT HAPPENED?" I ask scared.

Liz: I blinked back tears. "The darks spots in my vision, they were starting to consume the whole lifeline..." Whose lifeline, I wasn't sure. I broke down sobbing, like I had earlier when I first heard the news, again. "We're all going to be consumed by the darkness. We're never going to get out."

Anastasia - My eyes went hard, "I won't let that happen Liz," I said more passionately than I had ever said anything before. "I promise you, I will get us out of here."

Liz: That reminded me of what Jake had said earlier. "Where's Jake?" I asked suddenly.
