To Love Is Nothing

Jake - I stay standing there in the doorway, "Well, I could help you."

Alex - I snap at Corrigan. "Get off me," I growl.

Elizabeth: "Are you sure? Don't you need to put your own stuff away, too?" Help would be welcome, but I didn't want to be a burden.

Corrigan: "No, you should have watched your step. How could you do that to an innocent girl like her?" I tightened my grip, I was stronger than Alex from years of crew ((rowing)).

Jake - "Not at all, I brought little to nothing," I told her.

Alex - "It was easy, she was brought here for that purpose," I smirk arrogantly.

Elizabeth: "Really?" I laughed. "That makes me feel like such a diva, bring all this crap. Um, you could...put these books on that shelf." I pulled some books out of a box full of them, and held them out.

Corrigan: I hesitated, afraid of the answer. "You didn't...you didn't change her, did you?" If he had changed her into a vampire I would have to work very hard not to murder him.

Jack - "Got it," I smile taking the books, "and you aren't a diva, you're just a girl."

Alex - "Not yet," I tell him honestly.

Elizabeth: I laughed. "Glad you acknowledged what gender I am," I rolled my eyes and put the last of my clothes away.

Corrigan: "You better not, ever. I suggest you get a room change, too." I said gruffly.

Jake - "How couldn't I," i joke.

Alex - "You must remember that this is my house," I say, "and it's up to her if she wants to change rooms or not."

Corrigan: Anastasia began to stir. "We'll ask her then, when she's fully and completely awake." And can think logically.

Elizabeth: I was puzzled as to what that meant, but stood up with a mental shrug. "So, are you a good demon or a bad one?"

Alex - "Fine," I allow.

Anastasia - My eyes flutter open and I pull myself together as I see Corrigan and Alex clearly fighting. "Did that just happen?" I mutter.

Jake - "A good one," I bit my lip, "at least I think so."

Corrigan: "Yes, Alex drank your blood. If that's what you were talking about."

Elizabeth: I nodded. "Me, too. I couldn't be seen with someone evil, that would completely mess everything up." I rolled my eyes, even though Jake couldn't possibly know what I meant.

Anastasia - "Oh my god," I gasped.

Alex - "It's nothing to be afraid of," I comfort her, "It's natural, and it doesn't hurt you."

Jake- I raise my eyebrows.

Corrigan: "So...now the question is: do you want to have your own room, or do you want to share one with a bloodthirsty admirer of yours?"

Elizabeth: "Well, I'm not really supposed to talk to people that are being evil, unless that's part of their lifeline. Or if it's an accident. Luckily, you're lifeline is good, except for that inky black piece..."

Jake - I freeze, "What black piece?"

Anastasia - "New room," I say quickly not catching the eyes of Alex.

Alex - I push Corrigan off of me and slam my fist into the wall making Anastasia jump.

Corrigan: I tighten my jaw at Alex's outburst. "You want me to escort you to a new one? On the tenth floor, perhaps?"

Anastasia - I gulp lightly, "Yes," I say quickly getting up and getting behind Corrigan

Corrigan: I nodded and took ahold of her arm, not in a threating way, just so I could safely steer her away. On the stairs I said "That's what I was talking about earlier - the thing I said 'if only you knew' about."

Anastasia - "And you didn't think to warn me," I say still in shock.

Corrigan: "I was about to, but then he came in, sorry." I frowned apologetically.

Anastasia - "Wait!" I stop, "How did you know, are you, are you one of them?"

Corrigan: I shook my head. "I'm not a vampire...but I can read minds."

Elizabeth: "The black piece on your lifeline - it's blocking my vision of the near future. Something's going to happen - something that shouldn't."

Anastasia - "Oh," I say, well that's kind of an invasion of privacy.

Jake - "Do you think it has something to do with the Vampire, Alex?"

Corrigan: "I won't read your mind anymore if you don't want me to. I don't want to be a pest..."

Elizabeth: "Maybe. Or just being in the house to begin with...I don't think you were supposed to meet any of us."

Anastasia - "Oh, no, it's fine, I have nothing to hide," I say honestly. I have no secrets.

Jake - "Why not?" I asked curious.

Corrigan: I smiled. "But I want you to trust me - how can you do that, when I can sift through your thoughts?"

Elizabeth: I shrugged. "Most species, sub-species of humans, aren't supposed to meet."

Jake - "Then why would Alex invite us here?" I wonder.

Anastasia - "I think that I can trust you," I say, "you were there for me and I'm a stranger, thank you."
