To Love Is Nothing

Liz: I took a deep breath. Whatever I did next would change everything, one way or another. I kissed Jake.

Jake- I kissed her back and held her in my arms.

Liz: "I think that I'm choosing you," I smiled softly as we kissed.

Jake - "Thanks," I smile back.

Liz: I realized we were squishing the puppy, and gently took it from Jake's arms. "...I missed you, Jake. Even though I never left you...I missed being with you."

Jake - "Not as much as I missed you," I tell her kissing Halo's head.

Liz: I smiled down at the puppy. "Can the pupply sleep in my room, please?"

Jake - "I couldn't ever say no to you," I laugh

Liz: "Yay!" I said happily, then reached on my toes to kiss Jake on the cheek.

Corrigan: "Well, looks like they're all better now..." I muttered to Anastasia, as we walked to see Jake and Liz looking happy.

Anastasia - "thank god!" I smile and hold Rascal up. "Ready to go home?" I ask Rascal in a baby voice.

Corrigan: I rolled my eyes. "Is that dog going to be your new obsession?"

Anastasia - I looked at Corrigan, "RASCAL is the new member of the family." I say putting emphasis on Rascal's name.

Corrigan: "Fine. Is Rascal going to be your new obsession?" I rolled my eyes as we all walked back to the apartments. It was great how everything was within walking distance in this town.

Anastasia - "Oh no!" I say thinking of something, "what is Rascal going to do while we're working?"

Corrigan: "We can lock him in a cage," I joked. "I dunno, why can't he just...hang out in the apartment. Or maybe he can stay with Liz at the pet store?"

Anastasia - "That's a good idea, then he and Halo could hang out..." I say.

Corrigan: I nodded "Hey Liz! Do you think you can take care of the dogs while you work at the pet store?"

Liz: My face lit up. "Of course!" I swung Jake's hand happily as we walked.

Corrigan: "So that's a yes," I laughed to Anastasia.

Anastasia - "PERFECT!" I smile. "This is wonderful!"

Corrigan: "Wonderful?" I chuckled as we went inside the apartment. "Sure - it's wonderful."

Liz: I let Halo down when we entered the apartment, and she began to explore.

Anastasia - I sat Rascal down and watched as he explored throughout the house. "When are we going to go furniture shopping?"

Jake - "She's so cute," I smile at Halo

Corrigan: "Shopping, buying, shopping, buying, shopping. Is that all you think about now?" I mumbled then shrugged. "You'll have work all week - assuming you get the job, which you will - so over the weekend?"

Liz: "Mmmhmm," I said as I flitted around, setting up the dog things. I put her bed in my room, then paused and turned toward Jake, a question on my mind. "Do you still want to have two separate rooms?"

Anastasia - "You're the one who wanted new furniture, I'm fine with keeping this, but I want to decorate soon, you know, make this place home." I smile as Rascal growls lowly at the suitcases.

Jake - "I'll keep my stuff in the other room, but I'll probably sleep in here," I say.

Liz: "YAY!" I cried out the words happily, and ran to give Jake a hug.

Corrigan: "Right..." I put my hands in my pockets. "Yeah, over the weekend probably."

Jake - I laughed spinning her around.

Anastasia - I had a feeling like we were about to get into a fight so I stayed silent.

Corrigan: "So what kind of furniture do you want to get?" I asked, breaking the silence.

Liz: When he put me down I didn't let go, just hugged him and smiled with my eyes closed happily.
