To Love Is Nothing

Anastasia - "Thank you very much." I smile giddily. I take Corrigan's hand as we walk out and ask, "Where do you want to apply?"

Jake - "It's fine," I tell her, "we'll be friends, and friends hug," I'm fine with being friends as long as she doesn't leave.

Corrigan: "I dunno, I was thinking of maybe a book store?"

Liz: "Friends?" The word came out hoarsely. How could I be friends when the entire time I'd be loving him? Wishing that everything we did meant more? But I had to try, had to try for Jake. I nodded and forced a smile. "I'd like that, if we could be friends." No, I'd hate it.

Anastasia - "Let's go then," I tell him. I was so happy.

Jake - "Good, I'd like that to," as much as I loved her I would always rather be able to call her my friend than not have her around at all.

Liz: "Can friends love each other?" I said super quietly under my breath, and hoped he wouldn't hear.

Liz: We reached the pet store, and Corrigan and Anastasia were already over near the puppies.

Anastasia - I picked up a small black chihuahua and smiled at it, "Hi cutie, you're so cute, you wanna come home with me, wanna be part of a family," I wiggle my nose at him. He licks my nose and I giggle.

Jake - "Hey you two," I call out.

Corrigan: I rolled my eyes, but grinned. "A chihuahua? Those dogs are so noisy!"

Liz: I ran over, a grin lighting up my face. "A chihuahua? Those are my favorite! Can I hold it? Please Anastasia?"

Anastasia - "Of course you can, Rascal is going to love you," I turn him over to her. "Corrigan, it's called training!"

Corrigan: I raised my eyebrows. "Training for what?"

Liz: I nuzzled the puppy then held it up to Jake. It licked his nose, and I giggled. "Rascal likes you, too, Jake."

Anastasia - "We'll train Rascal to be a good little puppy," I grin.

Jake- I scrunch up my nose, "Hey there Rascal," an idea pops into my head, "get you a puppy to Liz, that way Rascal will have someone to play with."

Liz: My eyes lit up and I bounced excitedly. I picked up a fluffy white puppy, with pointy ears ((I forget what kind that is called, lol)). Then I turned back to Jake with a smile on my face. "What about this one? You should have a say, since it'll be in our house."

Jake - "What'll be her name?" I wonder as I pet her.

Anastasia - I take back Rascal and hold him up to Corrigan, "Well, say hello!" I smirk

Liz: "Hmmm, I dunno, you name her, since I picked the puppy."

Corrigan: I smirked. "Hello...?"

Jake - "Angel?" I suggest

Anastasia - I start laughing when Rascal nips the top of Corrigan's nose and gives a shrill bark.

Corrigan: I frowned "I don't think he likes me."

Liz: "Almost...how about Halo?" Halos were golden, more like her fur.

Jake - "Sounds perfect," I tell her.

Anastasia - I hold him close to my chest, "He heard you insult his chihuahua-ness." I say kissing him. I pick up dog food, chew toys, doggie treats, a collar, a leash, and pee pads. I also got the stuff for Liz's doggie Halo.

Corrigan: I sighed and paid for the dog crap. I had never been especially in love with animals, but I'd do it for Anastasia.

Liz: "But she's still like our little angel..." I said softly, closing my eyes and nuzzling the little puppy with my cheek.

Jake - I smile at Liz, "Anastasia got the stuff we would need." I tell her.

Anastasia - "Thank you," I hug Corrigan careful to not crush Rascal.

Corrigan:" Anything for you," I kissed Anastasia's forehead.

Liz:Ugh I couldn't stand being around a couple when my relationship was ruined. I shoved Halo in Jake's arms, then ran outside.

Jake - I ran after her, "LIZ?"

Anastasia - I saw Liz run out and frowned, "It's our fault."

Corrigan: I let out a deep breath and shook my head "I don't know what we did."

Liz: I heard Jake calling my name, and knew that if I turned around I'd burst I to tears. "Leave me alone."

Jake - "What happened?" I asked exhausted and holding Halo in my arms.

Anastasia - "I do, Jake and her aren't able to date and we're all lovey dovey..." I sigh sadly

Corrigan:"Why can't they date?"

Liz: I shook my head, my back still turned. "I can't stand being with you but not being a couple. I love you too much just to be your friend."

Jake - "THEN BE MORE THAN MY FRIEND," I sigh exasperated.

Anastasia - "Something about fate," I shrug.

Liz: I turned around, and the tears flowed out. "I...I don't know what to do."

Corrigan: Huh.

Jake - "Trust in your heart," I say softly.

Anastasia - "I don't know," I sigh.
