Late Night Bite

Bette: I hold it up to the light and observe it, making sure it's the real deal. After a minute, I put it in my pocket and turn back. "Lunch will be served in half an hour, and Clare will want you down there to meet the other tenants. Your first payment will be due tomorrow." And with that, I walk out and close the door behind me.

Vincent: I sigh as I flop down on the bed. "Lucky," I say. "Clare's girlfriend wouldn't leave until I gave her a fifty."

(Where can I come back in?)

Anastasia - I blushed, "I did give her a fifty."

(Cime board at Clare's. Just knock n the tell and tell her you want a room.)

(Okay. . .)

Mikey: I walked into this random place. I guessed that I could stay here for a while. I saw a couch so I sat down. If someone would yell at me, who cares.

Bette: I frown as I walk put of the room to find some guy sitting on the couch. "Oh, damn," I say blankly. "It's a-" "A damn moocher!" I hear Ckare yell behind me. Three paintball shots fly by my ear, nailing the guy in the back of the head. I calmly finger the goggles around my neck and blink. "Excuse me, but I don't believe we ever rented to you, so excuse us if we assume you're-" "A dirty moochin' bastard. What, come in here to steal? Or you have a beef with one of my renters?" She closes on eye and takes aim again.

alright well you have me and another person and we are both excited about it.

Mikey: "Oww!" I screamed. "Oh, I'm sorry. I was wondering if I could stay here. . .I have money."

Bette: I blink when I hear the magic word. "Just how much exactley?" I ask, still maintaining my calm.

Clare: I raise the gun a bit but still look him over. "Are you a radical member of a religeous group who wants to wipe out gays and paranormals? Are you allergic to pets? Do you hate meeting other people? Are you able to get work or already have a job? Can you take the occasional paintball to the head? Will we have to hunt you down for rent money? Are you the kind of guy who brings his dates back here? Do you have kids? And what are you running from?"

Mikey: "Uh, about three hundred dollars. . ." I paused, "I am not part of a group, I'm not allergic, I tend to be okay with people, I am still looking for a pernament job, I am not sure about the paintballs, you won't have to hunt me down, I don't date. . .no kids, and I'm just searching for a good place to settle down."

Clare: I lower the gun and grin. "Well then, welcome to the Atlantic Bed and Breakfast! There are six bedrooms total, three bathrooms, although one's reserved for Bette and me, A living room, a porch where everyone eats, and my huge splendiforous kitchen. We used to have a pool, but someone's renting that. But we do have a kitty pool outback."

Mikey: "Um, thanks. I don't mind about the pool. . ."

Bette: I take out my note pad and wrote put some things. "So, you'll be interested in using the pool, that's another twenty bucks, as well as thirty for living space and twelve for the paintba shots..." I add up more things before holding my hand up. "First months rent comes to three hundred dollars."

Mikey: "I said I didn't care about the pool. . . Jeez, I gotta find a job pretty soon. . ."
