Late Night Bite

Vincent: "Because there's a crazy possessive vampire downstairs who might decide to make you his life long servant?"

Mikey: I turned and saw another person. "I'm not about to let a vampire touch me, okay?"

Anastasia - I laugh, "Vincent, he's not human, Kyle won't touch him," I say. "Still, with Kyle's anger..." I let the sentence trail off.

Daisy: "Exactley," I say as I come all the way upstairs. "Which is why we're getting out of here now. Vincent, is the limo outside?" I ask. He bids and I grab my stuff. "Human or not, you shouldn't get invovled here."

Anastasia - "It'd be your mistake if you stayed," I agreed.

Mikey: "Why exactly is everyone telling me to get the hell out of here?"

Vincent: "Because we are the voice of reason to your naivety," I say dramatically. "And- well, can't you just feel the bad mojo around here? It's worse than a not funny stand up routine." "Demon!" Daisy yells all of a sudden, making me jump. She blushes as everyone looks at her. "Sorry, I've been trying to figure that out this whole time. That's why you smell strange, right?"

Mikey: I listened to what that person had said, but I didn't want to believe it. I jumped at the word 'demon.' "Why do you think I am a . . .demon." The word could barely make it out of my mouth. I didn't want to let them know that it was true. That I was the result of a human mother and a demon father, but I knew they would find out anyway.

Vincent: "Yes, correct!" says Daisy. "Sorry, she's not normally like this. She's still kinda drunk..." I say, but Daisy nods no. "Well, yes, but that's not the point. I mwt one when I was little and you smell just like him. Kinda like a vampire, but not as sweet. Although that one was an animal." That her aunt made her kill...

Mikey: "I'm a half-demon, okay. I'm not a full demon. . ."

(Oops, Daisy killed one, not Vincent.)

Daisy: "Well, I thought I was pretty close considering it's been eleven years," I say. "But please listen to us. We've been here for one day, and you already see how fast we're leaving. It's for your own good."

Mikey: "I don't get it. What exactly is wrong with this place? Would you please explain this to me?" What did they know what was good for me? I am a half-demon, so what 'good' could come to me?

Vincent: "What's wrong with outside?" I ask back. "Its a pretty day outside, and this isn't the only bar in town."

Mikey: "I'm not saying there is a problem, I'm just asking what exactly is the deal with this place?"

Anastasia - "A vampire named Kyle owns it and we just had a fight with him because he's been keeping me here since I was thirteen and Daisy pointed out it was wrong of him so now he's extremely angry and letting me go."

Daisy: I nod. "Vincent's aunt has a house not too far from here we can stay qith if it's ok with everyone. She lives by the beach, so it should be nice."

Anastasia- "Sounds perfect," I smile

Vincent: I groan. "You mean aunt Claire?" Daisy nods as she starts loading the bags into the limo. "Who else?" Damn it. This is gonna be a problem.

Anastasia - I glance at Vincent, "What is the problem?" I wonder.

Daisy: "He's upset because Claire is...well, you'll have to see. She's nice though, don't worry," I say as I close the trunk. "She's his favorite aunt, and the youngest out of his dad's eleven brothers and sisters." "Not that I really like my family in the first place," calls Vincent from inside the limo.

Anastasia - "They can't be that bad," I say. I felt a pain in my heart, the last thing I told my mother was that I hated her.

Vincent: I roll down the window and look outside as the air starts to get saltier. The buildings become more and more colorful, offering things like painted seashells, salt water taffy, designer swimsuits. After awhile, we stop off by a colorful looking little house with mermaids and fish painted all over. I jump as a paintball suddenly nails my door, followed by three more in different spots.

Anastasia - I jumped, "What is that!"

Vincent: "Everyone hit the deck!" I yell as I duck down beneath a seat. Suddenly, my door flies open. I look up to see a delicate looking woman with large golden eyes, freckles for days, tanned skin, and very curly long blonde hair that's a little green from all the swimming she does. She puts the gun to my head as she takes out a serpent embellished light to light up the cigar hanging from her mouth. "Tell me why I had to wait eight months before I got to see my little nephew again? You didn't even tell me you moved out! I should pop a nice one right in your head." She grins and sticks out her pierced tongue.

Anastasia - I sit in the car feeling very awkward.
