The Underground

Alexia felt awkward again. "Well, I can see when I'm unwanted..." She started to get up to leave but didn't really want to get near the griffin. She had to admit that she was a little afraid of it.

Lionel shook his head. "Scout is just a little strange when it comes to other people. It's not you."
Scout went out of the room to wander around outside.

(sorry I've been really busy lately. I take my SAT in an hour and I won't be that busy anymore after this weekend. I promise I'll reply as soon as I can.)

"Oh. Well that's comforting. I guess." Alexia looked around the room. She didn't really pay much attention to it the night before with all the stupid drama happening. It was nice in a quaint sort of way. There was definitely a lot more in just this room than there was in her entire apartment.

"I mean you're free to go whenever you'd like obviously..." Lionel wondered why the griffin had frightened her, but not everyone liked strange creatures. He was more worried about her well-being now. "Are you all right now?"

Alexia nodded. "Much, thank you." She remember everything that went down, including emptying her guts in front of him. EW. She blushed a bit then put her hands in her lap. "I owe you so much for last night. "

Lionel shook his head. He hadn't thought of any sort of repayment. Wasn't this what friends were supposed to do? "You owe me nothing." Lionel helped many creatures and never expected anything in return; this was similar, but this time he had helped a faerie.

Alexia shook her head hard. "No. Its in my nature. Its more than just tradition." She stood up and paced. She had no idea how to repay him for what he did but she couldn't just ignore what he did either.

Lionel shrugged. "There's no rush on that." He didn't know what to say to her, because it was obvious that she was thinking.

Alexia nodded and turned to face him. The connection she had felt with him earlier was back and stronger than before. She blurted out before she could stop herself. "Do you feel that?" She took a step toward him without realizing what she was doing.

Lionel became very aware of Alexia moving toward him. "I feel many things." He felt a certain pull toward her, as he had felt before but Lionel wasn't sure if that was what she was talking about.

Alexia shook her head and took another tiny step. "I mean that- that pull." another two steps and she'd be back at the bed and mere feet away from Lionel.

Lionel felt a stirring inside his chest as she spoke. He let out a small breath as he stepped closer to her. Over the past weeks, Lionel knew he was changing, but now it was clear that he was becoming braver. "That pull.." He whispered.

Alexia couldn't speak. She took two steps and was standing against the bed- which was the only thing separating them. She merely gave a half nod as her body continued to try to push her forward.

Lionel reached Alexia and took the side of her face in his hand. He felt the soft surface of her skin, just like all faeries. Lionel's heart rate accelerated as they became close.

Alexia stood on the tips of her toes and was still almost a foot and a half too short. She placed her hands on his chest and tilted her head back, her heart beating so loudly that she couldn't even hear herself think. Not that she could think about anything but how close they were.

Lionel's thumb moved gently across her left cheek. He shifted his hand to her waist and leaned down to daintily place his lips on her cheek. Lionel could not, for once, hear anyone's feelings except his own. He could only think about how close she was to him.

Alexia wrapped one arm around his neck and pulled him closer. She didn't want any space left between them and turned her head slightly so that the corners of their lips were across from each other. Just a simple head turn from kissing.

Lionel felt his heart pound once again. He paused a few seconds before making his move. Lionel turned his head slightly and his lips brushed hers before he made the action to kiss her.

Alexia melted into his arms, her knees giving out. She couldn't think. She couldn't breathe. All she could do was let the kiss consume her entire being.

Lionel grasped her and continued the kiss.  He had not felt anything like this before; sure he sensed it through others, but to experience it was different. Lionel let the emotions run through his body.

Alexias emotions were bubbling over. She could feel every nerve in her body standing on end. Her body started getting warmer and warmer and her wings unfurled, set aflame from her body temperature rising from the kiss.

Lionel broke the kiss for a moment before picking her up to be on the bed. He laid on his back and started to kiss her again. Soon enough, Lionel heard the tearing of his shirt as his own wings expanded in reaction to the chemistry.

Alexia straddled him as he lay back, never breaking the kiss. She let her hands roam over his torso, feeling how loose his shirt was from the tearing. A soft sigh escaped her as their lips continued against each other.

Lionel's wings encased Alexia's as his fingers traced her neck and slipped under her shirt to run along to her waist. He grew more passionate as kissed her, filled by his rising instinct to be closer to her.
