Camp Love Lake (Rated Mature b/c, hey, it's camp LOVE lake)

Fable: I rolled my eyes and huffed at him. "You're kidding? Come on, Emerson! We're on the verge of being all romantic and mushy and stuff. And we don't even know each other. Oh my gosh, I sound like a broken record!" I laid back on the grass and looked up at the stars.

Emerson: "Teens flirt. You act like you've never done it before," i said, walking out of the water and grabbing my shirt. "Sorry I tried," I shrugged, walking back toward the path.

Fable: "I've done it before, thank you very much." Then quietly I added, "But every time I end up with a broken heart..."

Emerson: "Oh, so you think that I'm going to break you heart?" I asked, cocking my head.

Fable: "No," I said unconvincingly.

Emerson: "You do. So you're not going to let me get close enough to prove you wrong," I said, sitting in the warm grass.

Fable: I looked up at him from my lying position. "I don't have trust issues if that's what you mean," I said lamely.

Emerson: "Does that mean I have a chance?" I asked, trying not to smirk.

Fable: "I guess so," I said.

Emerson: I smiled, facing up. "Cool."

Fable: I giggled then reached up and grabbed his arm. I pulled him down into a lying position beside me.

Emerson: I chuckled, looking at her. "What is it about you that I like?" I asked, thinking aloud.

Fable: "Oh, I don't know. It may be my irresistable charm...My spontaneity..."

Kayden smiled and submerged himself in the water slowly. It was just warmer than he was, and it was relaxing.
His toes touched the bottom of the clear pond. It looked well treated. He saw the names of two loves pledging their love, and the year it was made (1990) engraved in the cement rim of the pond. Beside it was the name of one lover, and RIP beside it, (2009). He wondered if the other partner kept the pond well to save the others memory...
He looked and waited for her to get in.

Elliot: I smiled, slipping in after him, seeing the names as well. "Wow..." I said, letting my voice trail off. "How romantic."

Kayden nods.
"What do you think we'll do, after camp is over, tomorrow?" he asks, slightly worried.
He pulls her close by the waist, saddened by the thought this wouldn't happen for a while . . .


((Maybe after their talk we could say it's next summer, and how they've changed? Since Emerson&Fable are in dif. time zones than Elliot&Kayden, lol))

Elliot: I sighed, biting my lip. "I have no clue... I mean, you better come next year," I smiled, bringing my face close. "And you never answered... What makes you think that I won't let you get as close as you want?"

Kayden's next breath catches in his throat.
"My closeness involves no bathing suits," he smiled.
Looking away shyly, he started to blush, and was surprised so.

Elliot: My eyebrow perked up and I giggled. "My turn," I said, putting his hands on my waist, under the hem of my undershirt. I slid the slip off and smiled, looking away. When I looked back, it was through my eyelashes. "Your turn."

Fable: I rolled on my side and scrutinized him for a moment. I placed my hand on his chest and brought myself closer to his side. "Thank you," I whispered.

Emerson: I turned my head and smiled a little. "Any time," I said.

Fable: I raised up and kissed him lightly on the cheek and snuggled in closer to his side.

Emerson: I let out a content sigh and looked up at the sky, pointing out constellations. I pointed out one shaped like a W. "Do you know what that one is?" I asked.
