Blood Mansion

One of the vampire mistresses, Drusilla wandered down the hall. She hadn't gotten a new slave, something that displeased her. She tossed her dark blond hair back over her shoulders. Her caramel colored eyes fell upon a slave who was also wandering the halls.

Laila- I freeze, then take a deep breathe, and avoiding eye contact, start walking in the other direction.

"Wait," Drusilla called out. When the slave did not stop, she said, "Please don't make me say 'I order you to halt, slave.'"

Laila- I stop. I was truly hoping she wouldnt notice me, but apparently she did. I really just wanted to get on with my off day ,but i turned around and nodded. "Im sorry, I didnt know you were talking to me." Lame excuse since we were the only two there but i hoped it would suffice. "Did you need something?"

"No, I was talking to my shadow," Drusilla said, cocking an eyebrow, "From the slightly freaked expression on your face, you're Temperance's slave, right? If you are, you might want a bit of help with that. Mom's not exactly the most understanding of mistresses."

Laila- "Yeah, I'm Temperance's slave. What do you mean that i might need a little help?" Mom, this girl was Temperance's daughter?

"You do realize you're the third slave in two months, don't you?" Drusilla said, crossing her arms, "Mom's awfully particular about her slaves. It's like she's got a set of standards that she doesn't share with anyone. If the slave doesn't measure up, it's off to Andros, her oldest pet wolf, with 'em."

Kalkaia: Yeah, I was here. I stood in the corner listening to her play and then slid out, standing behind her silently. "So, you're not a complete failure. You have class." I said.

Arcadian: I sighd and adjusted my dress before leaving the room. I walked around and then found what I imagined was the green house. It sounded like someone was in here, but I wasn't about to check.

Anya: I spun around, hearing Kal behind me. "sorry if im not suposed to be in here." I stammered out.

Kal: I laughed. "No, it's fine. This is for common use." I said, sitting on the bench beside her.

Anya: "Just wanted to make sure, not that this room being of limits would stop me from coming in here." I pointed out, before i continued playing.

Kal: I started playing on the higher note, not having a song in mind, but it flowed in harmony to what she was playing.

Anya: I glanced at him as he played with me. My fingers danced easily across the piano keys, not taking much thought to play.

Temperance glided out of the gothic, Victorian mansion. She strolled gracefully over to the forest; a towering fortress of primeval trees. Stepping onto a little known path, she began cooing and calling gently,"Come, dear ones. Mother is here. Where are you, my dear ones?"

James: I watched Temperance walk towards the woods and chuckled lightly. I followed her, "Tempy, you know it isnt safe out here even for vampires." I sighed.

Kal: I got up, shaking my head. "Maybe this is for just masters." I said, waiting for her to leave.

Temperance jolted to a stop when she heard a voice behind her. "That may be, James," she said in silken tones, "But members of Circle Midnight have requested that their gathering be a moonlit hunt. They refused to listen to reason, demanded that the forest be made ready for them. Who am I to refuse the wishes of an entire Circle?"

If the rest of the Elder Coven were there, she would have no trouble convincing the Circle of the dangers of the forest. But, until the Coven gathered, she was on her own.

Anya: I shrugged, changing songs. A more fast, spunky up beat song. I hummed softly as i played.

James: "I was not informed that there was to be a meeting. I am sorry tempy."

Kal: "Incompetent fool." I said, walking out of the room, slamming the door hard enough to spiderweb the glass.

Anya: I smirked lightly as he left. "It's like living on a cliffside not knowing when you'll dive. Do you know, do you know what it's like to die alive" i sang softly.

"That is alright, James," Temperance said, at last turning around, "I do realize I neglected to tell the rest of the household. In two days' time, Circle Dusk will hold their meeting in the ballroom, they requested a gala event. Then Circle Midnight shall have their hunt. And lastly, Circle Dawn has asked if they may gather 'round a bonfire."

At last, one of Temperance's pets heard and responded to her call. A wolf, a female by the name of Rosabelle, came padding onto the trail.

James: "Good to know." I eyed the wolf. "I shall leave you with your pets then." I nodded, backing up.

Kal: I looked at a sign on the door and then laughed. I walked back in and hardened my voice. "Get out." I said. I would drag her out by her hair.

Anya: "Why? whats so wrong with me being in here?" I asked, glancing over at him.
