Blood Mansion

Kal: "Appearantly, neither of us read the sign. This room is for masters only." I said. "So you need to leave."

"Rosabelle won't hurt you, James," Temperance said emotionlessly, "She has been instructed not to harm vampires." She turned to the wolf. "Rosabelle, where is Andros?"

The wolf gave a soft, barking response. "I see," Temperance said, nodding slowly, "Poor dear."

Laila- I look at Drusilla a little disturbed. My heart starts to race but i refuse to let my fear show. "Why are you telling me this?" I ask.

Drusilla shrugged. "I don't know. You seem like a nice kid, is all. It would be a shame for you to fall victim to Temperance's temper." Temperance was odd, in that she seemed to actually lose her temper.

She always spoke in the same formal tone of voice, whether she was saying "You are to join us in the drawing room for afternoon tea at precisely four o' clock" or "You have done an exceptionally fine job" or "Regrettably, your preformance as a slave has been lacking considerably. You fall short of what is expected. Therefore, you are dismissed from the post. I will allow you five minutes to say your last good-byes to the world, then will deliver you to Andros."

Laila- From my experience, I found vampires usually looked out for themselves and themselves only. I had a feeling that Drusilla was using me for her benefit, but i just couldnt figure out how quite yet. I decided to proceed with caution. "Do you think you could tell me how to avoid Temperance's temper?" I asked slowly.

Arcadian: I sat on the ground, looking up at the sky, waiting for something to happen, something to spark. Then a voice in my mind cut in-- Cadi, you can't just wait for something to happen. You need to make the spark, ignite the fire. The voice was right. I stood up and walked around, trying to find another person.

"To be honest, I'm not sure it's possible to avoid her getting angry at you," Drusilla said, "Just do exactly as she says, and you should be fine. But tread with extreme caution if she starts fingering the locket around her neck."

Temperance always wore an antique, gold locket around her neck. She held it in her hand whenever she got upset or angry.

Laila- "Um, okay. Is there anything that makes her happy?"

Anya: I rolled my eyes, but stood up. "Fine, im leaving." I glanced at the grand piano one last time. I would come back here.

Eric- I hear a commotion coming from the music room and poke my head inside. "Everything all right in here?"

Anya: "Everything is just fine." I nodded.

Eric- "Okay. Have a pleasant day." I nod and leave the room.

Kal: After she left, I left and locked the door. Only the vamps had keys. I nodded at Eric and then left, shaking my head. I always had to get the worst slaves.

Arcadian: I walked inside and tripped, biting a gash in my lip. I brought my hand up to find that I had actually punture my lip and there as a hole. Crap. I had to find someone who knew their way around, be it vamp or not.

Anya: Sighing, i walked to a balcony and starting climbing up the side of the mansion until i was sitting on the roof.

Drusilla shrugged, "I don't think she's ever happy. She says she no longer has any right to be happy. But won't say anymore than that." She glanced out the window, a human climbed past it. Either they had been ordered to do something on the roof, or they were being very thurough with their exploration.

Laila- "Thats strange." I see a human climb past the window and my heart skips a beat. "Um. is it usual for people to be climbing the castle, or is that just a very lost slave?"

Anya: I heard someone mention me, and laughed lightly. Hanging by one hand, i pushed the window open slightly. "This is normal for me." And with that, i continued climbing.

Laila- I laugh at the girl climbing the roof. I think i'll have to try that later, looks like fun.

Drusilla nodded, then looked at the climbing slave. "Normal for her, I guess. But it's not everyday you see humans scaling the mansion walls."


Temperance stood and waited. After a few moments, a very old male wolf, Andros, emerged from the trees. He limped over to Temperance. She knelt down and he laid his head in her lap. She petted him fondly.

Laila- "Have you tried it before?"

"No, I haven't actually," Drusilla said, "Maybe I should try it sometime, though."

Laila- "I was thinking the exact same thing." This vampire seemed kind of cool. For a minute she always made me forget my instant hatred toward her. "Did you get a new slave today," I asked.

"No, no I didn't," Drusilla said, "My slave is still alive and well. Sadly."

James: I walked back to the castle, running into Drusilla and one of the slaves. "Hello. and what are we talking about?" i asked, bored out of my mind.

Laila- "Hello. We were just talking about the girl climbing the castle."
