CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

Milo followed behind her suddenly shy,stupid, he thought yelling at himself in his head. He never felt as childish as he did in this mysterious girls presence. To stop himself from overthinking anything he just watched the girl's long hair swish back and forth as she walked along the hallways. Every once in a while she would turn back and say something, and he would just nod. I'm such a shithead Milo chastised himself.

Wisp
I study my boots intently. "Go..." If I want. What do i want? I nod slightly, disappearing.

Annaleah paused, trying to remember directions, thinking to herself. A quiet one, this one. She hoped he was alright...those blood stains didn't look like fun to acquire. She talked every now and then to fill the eerie silence, but didn't press for him to respond. It was like thinking out loud. At last she found a rather large room that looked like it used to be a kitchen. Yes. She turned the handle on a sink, and clear water sputtered out. Lovely. "Here you are," she said, stepping shyly aside. "I'm Annaleah, by the by."

Ami
Some sort of closet? Too big though. Shelves, empty and slightly rotten from the moisture. Small though, like the cell. Claustrophobic....pantry, that was the word. Memories stir that I try so hard to suppress. Just like Milo... But is that really the reason for war? Shall I be truthful then? There are voices outside of the slit doors and i press against the corner in the darkness. It's my cell. The storage place for the weapon... Milo's and a girl, but I'd rather it just be him.

"Milo." He said nodding slightly and warmly holding out his hand for her to shake. "Thanks for all the help. I'm not normally so reserved, just...a lots happened and happened fast you know?" Bad start, sounded like one of those guys who explained everything away back at home. Thankfully by her friendly and understanding face Milo could tell that Annaleah didn't think the same. At least there was that. "I think I'll..." he tacked on drawing out the words and gesturing to the sink.

Milo ducked his head under the sink wincing as the coldwater rushed over his hair and splashed onto his face. A mixture of red from dried blood and black from the cheap hair dye twirled around in the drain, seeping down into the hole. A lock of white fell down into his vision. Well that didnt last long he thought idily to himself.

Ami
I carefully creep forwards, peaking out of the slits in the door. So similar to bars... I curl my fingers around the side of the door, moving the door open just a fraction and looking out wide eyed at Milo. And suddenly I'm nervous, butterflies swirling up my throat making it impossible to say something.

I got a glimmer of something in the metal of the sink, what the...? I made to look behind my and smashed my head on the bottom of the faucet. "Ouch!" I cried, a few choice words slipping out of my mouth as I held onto my head. "Ami?"

Ami
"Sorry!" I open the door more, moving out more, flying to him. "Sorry...I - I shouldn't be here, right? I don't really get privacy yet, they've tried explaining it to me so many times. And Aiden had simply said it was an awkward topic -" I stop my rambling suddenly, reaching out tentatively to his head. "You alright?" I ask quietly, feeling guilt on my face. I attempt a small smile, but it feels so forced.

"I'm fine, you're fine. You just startled me that's all." Milo said rubbing his head, spritz of water splashing off it as he did.

Ami
"A-Alright." At least the smile doesn't feel so forced, but now it's coupled with burning cheeks. "I - um...Sorry, anyway...I - I was avoiding you before...when you were looking for me..." I admit sheepishly, looking to the floor. Still floating. I lower myself to the ground and he's his usual tall self compared to me.

"I wanted to make sure you were alright." Milo said turning back to the sink and shoving his head back into the icy water. "Which I guess you are if you can smile like that over my pain." Milo grinned at her from under the tap.

Ami
"I'm...I'm fine. Like you said..." I look down at my fidgeting hands, still smiling slightly though fading fast. "Is she right?" I ask suddenly, before i really think it over. "...Am I just a weapon? An...an 'it'?" An object?

Milo placed his hands on either side of the sink, reaching up and twisting the water off. It dripped down from his hair, pure white once again, making delicate noises against the silver. "How can you even consider that?" he asked a fire burning in his eyes.

Ami
I glance around, getting an old rag from a shelf and handing it to him for his hair. Completely calmly, I answer, "Because. I wasn't born as a human, I didn't grown up as a human, I don't have the normal thoughts of a human, and I have gifts that are definitely not human either. It all points away from being human; being a person. So if I'm not then that simply raises the question of what I am." I study him carefully, my light smile back.
"Yes, technically ninety six percent human DNA, but does the other four change that? Aiden said 'more than human', but that just feels...too simplistic of an explanation." I trace my brand on my arm absent mindedly, staring at the numbers and letters. "So...am I just 97Y400D, Ayakashi, like 51 says? Or Ami, who seems to be fading fast...or something more...more than human..."
