I jumped to the side, aiming to grab for her wrist.
"Then you enjoy spontaneous combustion? Because that's going to happen pretty soon."

Alice pivoted backwards. "Yeah, I don't think, you have no idea who you're messing with Petey." she snickered and aimed to round house kick at his head.

Peter
I ducked, moving to grab her leg in the hopes of knocking her off her feet.
"The same goes for you. I was trained for combat, you know."
Also, I had a pocketful of thermite. Ah, thermite...

Alice hit the ground and rolled with it, getting back to her feet in seconds, she licked her lips, "I was trained to be a killer." she smiled, "This'll be fun."

((There's now grass here, apparently. It's still not really clear where we are, lol.))

"I only kill when it's necessary. I can't say that I particularly enjoy burning people to death. I can speak from experience that the screams stay with you, even after the killing makes you numb. Anyway, it's time for fire."
I quickly knelt to the grass, placing my hands on the ground. Ugh, this was a really well-kept lawn. Not good for burning, but it would have to do. I didn't want to use up my thermite just yet. I shot my energy out through my hands; the patch of grass burst into flames. I hopped back to my feet and brought my hands up over my head, causing the fire to grow. I let my arms relax at my sides and smirked.
"Yeah, I ought to tell you...I can control fire." Wind, too, but I wasn't about to let her know that.

The Joker glanced around, thinking for a second before taking off, running down the stairs and out the side of the auditorium, and into a waiting getaway car

Dorian
I thought for a moment "Could you tell the species?"

Torin sniffled, "It wasn't human." she whispered, "It wasn't dog either, I don't know any more than that."

Dorian
"Any security cameras in the area? Witnesses?" I was thinking, but I was /not/ liking the conclusion I was arriving at

Torin wiped at her face, "No, we all ready checked." she whispered, "Do you have any idea who would take her?"

Dorian
I looked away, not facing Torin directly. Dorian Gray, not daring to look somebody in the eye... because this could be my fault. "I have one idea"

Torin studied him, "What? What is it Dorian?" she whispered.

Dorian
"It might be Adrian" I muttered, the hand not holding the suitcase clenching into a fist "But I'm not certain"

Nightwing
I grit my teeth, trying not to show my anger on my face. He'd show up again, but that's still time away from me knowing where Beth disappeared to. He could know. I knelt down beside the girl. "You alright?" I ask. Police were already coming. They'd take her to the hospital.

Winnie nodded, her expression slightly shocked. It faded over into annoyance. "I /said/ I'm not playing damsel in distress! I'm fine, damnit."

I can't help a small smile. "Just being a gentleman. You /are/ hurt."

And they were strange words for a 16 year old

Rose: "That's it? Just a couple of tacky lines and a sucky offer? I like being an assassin. I get to be sadistic and have a lot of fun doing it." I checked my watch again. "In about thirty seconds I'm gong to kill you, and you're going to enjoy it. Because my beautiful face is the last thing you'll ever see." I smiled.

"Hate to burst your bubble, but I'm blind" I muttered "And yes, that is it, I guess. I didn't exactly prepare something for the occation, I didn't think I'd die at 16" Wait... idiot, you can just shift into a wolf! But she was restraining me, and if I shifted, it would probably kill her. I was torn

Rose: "You're 16 and you're married? Who does that anymore?? Anyway... it's time." And on cue, the clock struck twelve, and i pulled out my knife, jamming it into his chest and slowly moving it around, blood squirting and oozing out of the wound and onto the wall and me. I continued for the next eleven bongs of the clock, and when it ended, I pulled my knife out, and jumped out of the window.

Winnie gave him an 'I-can-cope-by-myself-you-creep' look. If she hadn't been tied up, her hands would have been on her hips. "I'm fine."
