Dramatic Death Scenes!

"They do good work, don't they?" Red Wing said apon entering the room. This time, he had a gun at his side.

"Certainly...some kind of work..." I whisper, glancing up at him, the gun in his hand. A bullet's going to kill me then? Huh... Why was that such a shock to me? I was dodging bullets all the time.

Red Wing aimed the gun at his forehead. "I do good work, too. Haven't missed once."

Nightwing
I sigh slowly, taking a last breath deeply. My last. It's an odd realization.
My eyes close again, unable to keep them open.
"Go ahead."
Spades...Beth... The corners of my lips tug up slightly. Rubix Cube... I'll see you soon, won't I?

Red Wing watched coldly for a time, drawing out the moment. Then gunshot rang through the room, and there was blood, and there was silence.

In the depths of a concrete jungle, Annaleah walked down the street, trying to look around without looking like a completely vulnerable lost girl. Somewhere along the way of gaping up at towering cityscapes, she'd wandered too far. Stay in the light, don't look anybody in the eye, don't look lost, don't look lost... she recited in her mind. But something caught her eye, a flitting gling in an alley. No. Oh, no, a fluttery curiousity began to burn a hole in her mind. Stay in the light. Dumb idea. Unbearingly dumb idea... she glanced around, and back to the alley. Just a quick look... she slipped into the alley and followed the glint. It lead her to a small object. She picked it up. It was a bullet shell. 9MM, looked brand new...she dropped it and it clinked on the concrete. Better get out of there before something bad happened.

I watch her from across the street, sitting up on a fire escape in the shadows. My sketchbook in my lap and my pencil in hand. Rather boring...and Joker always said to cause some fun. I study her carefully, trying to pick up any fears from her.
Too easy right now. I flip through my book to an image of the Joker's clowns, concentrating on the image before looking back up, my eyes studying the girl as my drawing becomes physical waiting for her reaction to them. Always the best part.

Suddenly there were faces in the dark, and she gasped, almost falling over the concrete as she stepped back. Wait a moment..."Clowns?" she whispered aloud.

Inque
I giggle, standing and walking over to the railing, looking over to the girl and the clowns. "She's not smiling. Joker would be sad..."
The clowns grin, looking at her with empty eyes. They take a step towards her, start chuckling themselves at the look on her face.

I was sitting on the ground against a brick wall in some abandoned alley that was cloaked in shadows. Fun.
I tipped my head back, closing my eyes and taking a few deep breaths. That had been narrow... Well, it was behind me now. As for what was in front of me, I'd just have to bear the SEDing symptoms that should be kicking in any moment now.
"Urrf!" I grunted, clutching my chest and gritting my teeth. Oh, yeah. There we go.
Still hurting, I forced my eyes open again, looking around. Dark alleys...bad crap usually happened in dark alleys. Shouldn't have been a problem for me, however; despite the closeness of the Sybek academy keeping me from using my powers, I was still trained for combat. Not to mention that I had a knife, matches, and some lovely chemical compounds that went "boom" when you set them on fire. So I should've been fine. Right?

Asylum
Someone...Belowww...me....
Their emotions pressing at me, pushing me towards the edge...pun. Ha... Already on the edge of this building here.
I glance down, squatting down on the wall of the structure and leaning over to stare. My eyes shine in the darkness, a wide smile across my face.
Someone's....really....weak...
Not me, not me! I chuckle silently, covering my mouth with my hands, stepping down to the fire escape quiet as a cat, making my way down. The last landing, i lean over and study him again.
Someone seems /really/ uncomfortable here.
He doesn't show it, but his emotions scream it out to me. Easy to sense. Can't turn it off. Always other people's emotions around my head, yelling for attention. I'm so /sad/, I'm so /happy/, I'm so /scared/....boo who, boo who... I want them to shut up.

You know the feeling that you're being watched? Bonders don't get that feeling. For Nons, that feeling is really the soul screaming, "Look out, idiot, someone's watching you!" The notion that the soul gives of you being watched translates to a creeping feeling you get that makes you want to turn around.
Of course, when your soul can simply talk to you, that doesn't happen.
Be on your guard, Sesria cautioned. We're not alone. There's someone up on the fire escape.

A change of emotion suddenly. Caution and awareness. I jump down neatly, landing without a sound, studying the kid carefully with a hungry eye.
Maybe he'll be a challenge....
He seems confident enough.
Maybe I can get him to cry first. Or scream. Or both!



(and to add to the creepiness a bit perhaps, we've determined her outfit to be: A tight white jacket with lots of buckles and straps (Like a straight jacket), black skinny jeans that also have a few belts around her legs, and black flats. her skin's milk chocolate color, short black hair, dark eyes.)

Well. This was new.
"Can I help you?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
I did not like the way she was looking at me. I started to get up slowly, not taking my eyes off her. I didn't trust this one...

Asylum
I tilt my head a bit, raise an eyebrow like him. He was a funny one. A cautious one. It'll be amusing to mess with his emotions...
But not now. Let's freak him out first....well, more. I giggle at my own thoughts.
"No, not /really/" I answer, standing up tall.

Peter
"Then explain to me why you're here?" I asked.
Oh yeah, I was pretty sure that this girl didn't have good intentions.

5'6"/5'7" ish. 19 years old.

Asylum
"Nnooooo reasonnnn," I say with a giggle.
"Why are you here?" I inquire.

Peter
"Why am I not here?" I figured giving her a smartass answer was the easiest route.
I regarded the girl evenly. She was about my height, though she looked older by a couple of years. ...And she appeared to have been smoking something or other.

Asylum
My smile cracks. It falls. Frown. Evil boy.
"I can't say," i murmur. He's not playing along. Not fair. Not...fair....
Punishment. I narrow my eyes at him, placing pain in his head. Burning, sharp pain.

Peter
"Argh!"
I gripped my head, shutting my eyes tightly in spite of myself. Gods, it hurt! A result of the SED...? I'd gotten headaches from SED before, but never like this...

Asylum
I laugh and take away the pain suddenly, walking over and patting his head. "Play nice," i warn with a smile, walking on down the ally. I stop and turn, staring at him again, my grin back.

Peter
What the hell?
"What're you talking about?" I asked, straightening up again and rubbing my head.
What was this girl's problem?

Asylum
"Play. Nice," i repeat, eying him carefully. I tap my temple with a smile.

Peter
"Um, okay then?" I half-asked, half-agreed.
