Dramatic Death Scenes!

Hmm...so Crick's getting killed by the bad version of Sarah. Redwing is killing Nightwing. I'm booked Unless Aria wanted to kill another one of my charries, cuz I'm feeling really evil today, but none of my charries know her so motivation would be tough. Hmm...how we gonna start this?

((Motivation isn't tough for Aria. She just kills people for teh monies. No, really. She kills people so she can take them up to Heaven and sell them as slaves. Because that's what all the really poor angels do--and most of them are poor.

Also, who's gonna kill Peter?

Nightwing
I managed to track Spades near a base, carefully traversing around. I couldn't believe her dead yet, even now, though somewhere in the back of my mind I feared I had accepted the fact but haven't accepted the grief yet. I would find her, even if it was the last thing I did.
I stop, observing the place and taking in every detail. What would I do though? She's...she's...
No. I had to see for myself. I had to just...say goodbye....something...
And what if I should run into her killer? What would I do then...
The situations plagued my mind, every possibility that might happen in there. I close my eyes for a second, trying to calm my thoughts. She'll be...fine...She has to be okay...
Maybe I haven't accepted yet...

hmm...Asylum could kill Peter. Whoever your baddie is can take Cricky.

((Sounds good to me.))

A sublte alarm sounded, and several guards rushed out of the base to the intruder. "This is a restricted area. Leave or risk fatal consequences," one guard said flatly, gun pointed.

Nightwing
I meet his eyes carefully. "I'm willing to risk that," i say, honest as always. Spades would hurt me if she knew I was putting myself out like this for her.

The guard didn't fire his tranquilizer just yet. "Let me make this more clear. You will die," he said, a touch of kind warning in his voice.

Nightwing
I'll die.
Though for everyone else, it was solid as steel that Spades was gone.
And I had been the one to promise her forever. She always thought is was me keeping her up. I didn't want to go on without her though. In the end, i suppose it was mutual.
I close my eyes and hang my head, unmoved by the warning.

The guard fired the tranquilizer, and watched as he fell. The boy didn't have a clue.

((Have Nightwing wake up in one of the scientist labs)) *evilness*

I blink awake as the lights turn on above me, muscles sore and protesting any movement at all though i look around the empty room, which resembled some sort of lab.

((Oh boy...haven't used Red Wing in a while...my writing muscles feel so out-of-shape! *cracks knuckles* Alright, let's do this thing!))

Red Wing walked into the room, footsteps clicking on the cold floor. He inspected the one strapped to the table, slowly walking closer to see his face. After a moment he asked smoothly, "Why are you here?"

I fix my jaw carefully, eying the guy up. "To see if a...friend was taken here accidentally." I clench my hands to fists slightly.

Red Wing smirked inwardly. He was feeling cruel that day. Another mission failed, and someone had to pay. "It must have been a very close friend. Unfortunately, all trespassers here are either genetically engineered by the scientists, or terminated. Do you have a preferance?" He allowed himself one wicked smile.

Nightwing
"She's...dead," i say, or rather admit to myself. "I'll die then." I quiet a moment. "You know where she is?"

Red Wing nodded slowly, smile vanished into an icy stare.

Nightwing
"Maybe I don't deserve this..." i murmur quietly, then say louder "Can I see her? Could I die with her?"

Red Wing laughed. "That is cute. No, Romeo, she will be disposed of at any minute. Unless the scientists wish to keep her." He walked around him. "How close were you?"

Nightwing
I hang my head, avoiding to look at him. "She's my...fiancee..." Funny, I'm still talking in present tense with her. Still don't want to believe it, i suppose.

"Was," Red Wing corrected. "Are you ready?"

Nightwing
"So quick?" I ask silently. I give one humorless laugh. Last time I had almost died because of Inque i had been afraid. Now I'm just...relieved. Though...last time Spades had been there by my side. This time I was the one going to be by her side. "Just do it."

Red Wing took a last look at him, and pressed something on his belt. Scientists filed into the room, tools flashing.

"you're not the simple type, I see...". I mutter, closing my eyes. Death at the hands of some mad scientists... That's the closest to the Joker I want to come...

"I could shoot you. However, the scientists have been asking for a subject to experiment on for a while now. Tough luck, kid." Red Wing patted his shoulder and headed for the door. "I asked you which you prefered, but I never said you had a choice." The door shut, and the scientists had finished setting up their tools. One inspected Nightwing before sliding a needle into his neck.

I take a sharp breath, jerking away slightly. My hands fist but i can't get out of this. "Quick workers, aren't you?" I mutter, biting my tongue against the sting.

Nightwing
How long? My body is burning, radiating pain in waves. My eyes heavy, refusing to stay up for more than a few seconds at a time. I'm surprised I managed consciousness now, though I had blacked out a few times during it all. Coming back from the darkness expecting it to be over, but just more coming. Unrelenting and powerful.
Finally the scientists leave, the room silent now except for my strained breaths. My limbs are heavy, aching and protesting even if I don't try to move them.
