CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

Cricket smiled. "Then we've got an agreement." He stuck out his hand. "You don't talk, I don't listen, and vise versa."

Peter
"Sounds good to me," I replied with a grin, shaking his hand.

Cricket grinned, and with one settling shake he let go of his hand. He liked this guy after all. He was about to say something when--

"Th' rain stopped," said a girl's voice. Winnie was standing in the doorway. She was still here? "Pardon, did I ruin a man-'eart-t''eart talk?" she asked dryly.

Peter
Senet chuckled quietly.
"No," I answered, keeping myself from rolling my eyes. I didn't even know this girl, anyway.

Cricket crossed his arms. "You're still 'ere? Thought you'd 'ave left by now."

Winnie tucked a piece of hair out of her face. "Well I didn't want t' get drenched, did I? Common sense; it's raining, stay inside," she said, looking over Cricket's soaked clothes.

"Well, why're you still 'ere if you can leave now?" Cricket asked, innocently cocking his head. He knew the answer, but she would have to say it herself.

Winnie frowned. " 'cause. Just...letting you know I'm leaving, that's all," she huffed.

Cricket cocked an eyebrow knowingly. "Aye?"

Peter
"Do you need an escohrt 'ome?" Senet asked politely, giving her a small smile. I didn't know how well she'd react to that, considering her slightly defensive attitude and her reluctance to admit what she wanted (Her motives, at least, were somewhat apparent).
Also, I still had no clue who this girl was.

"What, you want t' tag along or something?" Winnie asked, cocking an eyebrow.

Cricket let out an impatient breath. She never let up her pride.

And without further ado, I must be off! Long day tomorrow. Night!

((Lol, Senet doesn't know her, either. He's just more open with people, haha.))

"Very funny," I said with a wry grin. "But that is what you want, isn't it?"
Hey, the girl wasn't willing to admit that she needed help. I could respect that. I never liked asking people for help, either.

Winnie didn't answer, so Cricket did for her. "Yes, she doesn't want t' walk 'ome alone. No shame in that," he said, looking at her. She crossed her arms.

Peter
"I can see why she wouldn't," I started, "from what you've explained of this place." Then, to the girl, I said, "We could walk you if you want."

Winnie kept her arms crossed, and looked skeptical. After a long pause, she said, "Fine," as if she were granting them a favor.

Peter
I had to keep from laughing to myself. Headstrong and prideful...her attitude just screamed "fire type."
"Alright," I said. "We can go right now if you're ready. Just lead the way."

umm....

Well...Wisp saved Cricket and Kim from the wrath of Crooks, had emotional problems and disappeared. Cricket, meanwhile, took Crooks out and dumped him in some alley while he was unconscious. Crooks woke up, Cricket and Quincy had small talk before she let Crooks out of the ropes they tied him up in. Another meanwhile, Finn was nice to Wisp and showed her how to play piano a bit, told her about music. Sarah had a small power freak out, which resulted in her being named Willow by Winnie. Peter was somewhat healed by Emily, talked to Cricket about his past a bit when he got back from dropping Crooks off. And now I think they're escorting Winnie back home.

hunh. alright. (ponders on how to jump back in)

(NEXT DAY)

Milo rubbed his face tiredly and sauntered down the stone hallway. He had forgotten how much he enjoyed sleeping. Stepping into the bathroom he splashed his face with some cold water, and looked up at himself in the cloudy mirror. Another day. Who knew what wacked things he would get to experience. Ah well, better get to it then. he thought stretching slightly as he moved back into the long corridor.

Ami
It's peaceful after the rain. Quiet... I walk through the halls silently and give a small smile, catching a ray of light from a window. Flying up, i sit cross legged upon its sill. Sun...I close my eyes to enjoy its warmth. I could remember the first time I felt the sun...
"Surveying the field, little weapon?"
Her voice cuts through my trance and i flinch, opening my eyes and looking out at Luna before turning and spotting her down at the hallway. Appearing as ghostly as she usually does.
"Leave me alone," i mutter, pulling my knees up to my chest and looking back at Luna. "I have no quarrel with you."
She studies me with a small smile. I can feel her eyes on my back and it makes me even more uncomfortable. "Homesick, experiment?" She taunts still. I tense slightly. Homesick... Of what? No home. Still there was this longing. "At least you've got the other one to keep you company."
I don't reply, just purse my lips. There's a moment of absolute silence.
"Do you not like the other one?" Her voice suddenly close to me, i spin around and she stands on the windowsill next to mine. "Remind the silly weapon of what it /is/?"
"You had your warning -"
"Show me, then, what you're purpose is. Weapon. You're no person. Just an it, trying to analyze its targets before destroying them."
I feel a smile slowly creep across my face, slow like a ticking....ticking bomb.
"Mhm," I say, standing on the sill. "You're right." I look over at her, raising a hand to her. "It's about time the target get destroyed. You're pissing me the fuck off!"
Did I say that? No. Panic rises in me but I can't act on it. I can't act at all. Ayakashi, the Destroyer. She won't be willing to listen to reason in this state. I want to talk, but I can't. Stop it, stop it! She simply shoves me down further with such pressure, shoving me into chains and not letting me out. Maybe this is it...? When Ami won't come back again...

Milo's well-trained ears picked up at the angry shouts that were echoing down the steps he had just passed. Rays of sun cut down from up the stairs, lighting up the dust particles in the air. The sunshine wasn't the only thing lighting up the stairway. Electric currents of tension drifted down towards him, and an a icy shiver sliced down his back...Ayakashi. Backing up, he ascended the stone, looking for the source of the commotion.

Sanae plucks one of her secondary feathers, sly smile on her face.
"What are you smiling about?" Ayakashi giggles out, though it annoyed the hell out of her.
Sanae throws the feather at her, the small thing slicing through the air like a dart. Easily, Ayakashi stops it in air, looking back up at Sanae only to be sliced across the cheek by a different feather. "I see your moves." Ayakashi's smile is gone as she waves a hand at her, Sanae folding her wings neatly and avoiding the strike, the wall behind her getting a slash through it.
"I know the way your power works!" She stops herself and lands on the floor, dodging another blast. The tiles on the floor shatter in a cloud of dust.
"You don't stand a chance, Ayakashi," she says evenly, glancing up at her with the same smile. "All weapons have their place. And that is self destruction."

Sound exploded down the stairway, amplified my the narrow passageway. Milo picked up his speed, now running to the top. He burst into the room, and ducked immediately to doge a hastily thrown feather. "Hey! Woah! Hold up!" He shouted roughly glancing at the sharp feather lodged into the wall behind him.

Ayakashi flies down, throwing a nasty glance at Milo. Never learns his place, does he? Shouldn't he know to run /away/ from a battlefield? "Shut up," she hisses, making the tiles at his feet crack and explode into clouds of dust. "You're getting in the way."
Sanae glides down, throwing another feather at her while she's distracted, catching her across the forehead. Ayakashi stares daggers at her and sends the feather back at her, though the Grimm is to quick in the air.

The ground explodes up towards Milo, sending him crashing into the room below. At the last possible second he grasps onto the broken floor and pulls himself back up through the gaping hole of tile and plaster. Searching the room quickly he swipes up the two discarded feathers, accidently gashing his hand on the fine blade of the first. As the two furiously exchanged blows, he waited for the perfect moment to strike. The dust that covered him from when the floor had fallen out from underneath of him made excellent camouflage, not to mention the fact that both girls were distracted and he had grown up in the jungle. His keen eyes picked up the exact moment to make his move. Sanae touched the ground near the hole from earlier for a brief instant, and in that time Milo stabbed the feather through her pant leg, pinning her to the ground. In a flash he expertly threw the other feather in a weak spot in the floor, sending the winged girl smashing through to the lower level. Panting, he peered down at her, wincing at the pathetic way she was sprawled below. Sorry he thought briefly before turning towards Ayakashi.

...alright, i'll let this slide for convenience's sake, but can you please stop PPing? I....feel like winter now xD

Ayakashi floats above the two of them, glaring narrow eyed at Milo and Sanae. "The soldier finally shows his nature then?" The corners of her lips twitch upwards. Extending a hand out to him, she grabs him and brings him up with her. She pauses a moment before giggles bubble up. Giggles turn into laughter. "Now I'm going to make you watch and taint your little glass doll image of Ami. Make you watch as we kill her." She points down at Sanae, eyes still on Milo, sadistic smile on her face.

Milo griped Ayakashi's wrist with his other hand, prying himself free and leaving a bloody palm mark on her hand. Milo grimanced, the soldier "No." He said cooly. He tracked Ayakashi's every move, tensing slightly as a muderous gleam flashed across her face.

Ayakashi giggled again, flying back and around him slowly. "Oh, quite. Just you wait..." She says slowly, licking her arm and tasting his blood. She stops over the hole in the floor, looking down at Sanae maliciously. Her feathers all unorganized, a few cutting her in the fall. She looked like a scruffy chew toy that had spent too long in a dog pound. "Always wondered if she could feel pain. Little birdy's probably going to feel her wings being torn from her back."
