Eric: I walked into the room and sat between a guy and a girl (Max and Dana) and put an arm around the girl's shoulders. "What are you reading there?)

Dana: "Um..." I didn't want to be rude, but it was a little weird that he put his arm around me. I didn't shake it off, though, I would soon. "The Notebook."
I didn't care what he thought of that. The only reason I hadn't told Max was because I kind of DID care what HE thought.

Max: I glanced over at the guy. Jerk. I continued sketching.

Eric: I smirked. "That was a great movie."

Dana: I raised an eyebrow. "It's a total chick-flick...." I bet he hadn't even seen it.

Eric: "I know. I saw it with five girls and three boys."

Max: *continues sketching, ignoring idiot*

Dana: "Interesting." I wiggled out from under his arm.

Max: Well, at least she didn't like him.

Eric: "What are you doin, babe?"

Dana: "What do you mean?"

Eric: "I was enjoying having my arm around you. And then you moved it."

Dana: "Maybe I didn't enjoy having your arm around me."

Eric: "And why not, darling?"

Max: I rolled my eyes. He sounded like my brother.

Dana: "Because I don't even know you."

Eric: "But you could," I said, winking.

Max: Now he really sounded like Adam. "Hey, dude. Could you move, please?"

Eric: I turned to the guy. "Why should I?"

Dana: I glanced over at Max. Was he...standing up for me?

Max: "Why don't you ask Dana?"

Eric: Oh. That was her name. "So, Dana..."

Dana: "You should move because I want you to, thanks."

Eric: "But I don't wanna move."

Dana: "Then I'll move," I said, standing up and closing my book.
