Artemis passed out, simply too worn out to fight against it

Artemis stirred a little but remained out, the concussion making it hard for her to stay awake

Hours later Artemis finally managed to open her open her eyes and sit up "what'd I miss?" she mumbled

Izzy shook his head. "Nothing."

Artemis nodded and winced, looking around "hows-hows mirissa fairing? Still an idoit?"

Izzy frowned and checked on her. She was curled up in a ball, starring at nothing.
"She's not crying anymore." He said finally.

Mirissa looked up, making sure to wipe the tears away before she did. "I'm fine."

Izzy continued to watch Mirissa through their link, a little concerned.

Artemis furrowed her eyerows, still unable to recall anything before last night "why is my arm cut?"

Mirissa kept the guilt from her eyes and showed her a memory of what happened last night. She didn't leave out a thing, adding in her own feelings as it happened. But she stopped after Mason left, no need to go into her breakdown.

Artemis gasped and recoiled, the image both startling and disturbing her. She hadn't seen her reflection in ages... She looked like he'll. Anger rolled through he as she saw the blade sink into her, it went through her mind like a broken record. It took a while, but she was finally able to calm herself.
"you okay?" she asked mirissa

"I'm fine." Mirissa said softly. She was always fine. She had to be, for everyone else. No time to let go like she had earlier, she had to be strong. She made a smile come to her face. "How's things on your side?"

"blissfully boring" Artemis sighed. Boredom was just fine with her, it meant no danger. She remained silently for a moment and let her thoughts drift over to mirissas most recent out burst "idiot" she mumbled

"Am n-, " she broke off in her protest and sighed. "I guess so."

A small smile broke across artemis's lips. "s'ok" she told her "we're all crazy here"

But not all idiots while being crazy. ..."yeah,"she replied with a smile. "You're right."

Artemis gave her a dry smile "funny, I'd rather be wrong there"

Mirissa snorted, "You and me both."

Artemis smiled again and sighed, feeling out around her cell with her mind. She froze as she felt a familiar mind approaching her cell- Mason.
"ah... Mirissa..." she squeaked

Mirissa glared at the door of her cell and decided to try something new. She reached for her link to the shadows in Artemis's cell. Ignoring Izzy, he could help Artemis by his own choice, she caught the minds of the shadows. She held them tightly, ready.
"I'm here Artemis, let him come."

Artemis began to shake as the mind became so close she could hear the owners footsteps. The door swung up and lit spill in, stopping at her feet. "hello, hello, hello" he cooed.

The shadows drew themselves up and silently watched him. Not drawing attention to themselves just yet. Mirissa watched through their eyes.

Izzy dissolved into the shadows and kept his eyes directly on Artemis.
