Mirissa glanced at her. "I-, " then fainted.

Artemis watched her fall and sighed, dragging her back over to the corner where she then preceded to poke her continuously "wake, dammit" she growled

Izzy stood the the side, trying not to laugh.
Mirissa blinked, "W-what?"

((All I thought he could do was change temps. LOLZ. I didn't know he could do that, coolio!))

Penelope shrieked, scared of what might happen. "Stop! Leave him alone!"

Joesph didn't even notice that Jake had tumbled him to the ground and had his hand on his throat. He must control time, no one has ever dodged my energy blasts before. But he didn't have time to think about that, Jake's grip on his neck was getting tighter and tighter. So he gripped Jake's face with his free hand, sending more energy to get Jake off and out of his way.

The door opened a crack and food was thrown in. Artemis used her mind to levitate it over to them. She tossed her both meals "eat" she instructed

Mirissa shrugged and slowly picked up a piece of bread.
Izzy looks at it, "I'm not sure I eat....."

Jake felt himself fly back and he growled. Pulling himself up he slowed time again and grabbed the boy forcing him over Jake snapped a pair of cuffs on the Guy and stood. Remembering the sister he steped over and lay a hand on her shoulder before resuming time.

Artemis slunk off to her corner, still a little upset at mirissa for her stupidity earlier

Izzy sat next to Artemis silently.

"why'd ya do it?" artemis asked quietly

Mirissa glances up, her eyes distant. "Do you ever feel...numb to it all?"

Artemis frowned, not understanding "more often then I'd like to admit" she confined "why?"

Mirissa smiled, "I can't let myself feel that. To get to the state of unfeeling for long amounts of time is to give in. Its as good as being broken. You're not alert anymore. Not looking for a way out."

Artemis frowned "but there is no way out"

Mirissa shut her eyes, "Of course."
Izzy frowned.

Artemis sighed and closed her eyes, "you're looney"

Mirissa nodded slowly, I know."

Penelope resisted for a second, still shocked at what happened. "Let me go! Let him go!"

Joesph was struggling, he was too exhausted to send anymore waves of energy. But that didn't mean he wouldn't stop. "Jacka**

Artemis raised an eyebrow "well that's... good"

Tara looked around, not knowing what to do. She turned invisible and ran over to the boy(Joseph) and started fumbling with the cuffs. The key... she thought and looked at the guard, trying to place where they were at.

Mirissa smiled softly, "I broke long ago." She closed her eyes again.

Jake shrugged, "Sorry, rules are rules." He let to of her and stepped over pulling the boy up and giving him a shove towards the door.

"Seems it" artemis mumbled, her head snapping up as another guard entered. She didn't recognize this one. "up, both of you. I have orders to take you to the head."
Ice filled Artemis. oh great

The boy was shoved away from her. Tara thought for a moment and did something she wouldnt have had the nerve to do in years. While still invisible, she tried jumping on the guards back.

"What the &%&$??" Jake yelled swinging around as something jumped on his back.

Mirissa glanced up, not caring. "Can I finish my food?"

James watched as the girl jumped on the guards back. He got up and thought about how much trouble he would be in. Then again, he always got in trouble. As the girl who must have turned invisible, was still on his back. I grabbed the keys from his belt and tried to release the boy from the handcuffs.

The guard shrugged, a glint in his eyes as he yanked artemis up "sure, we'll come back for you" he slammed the door shut, the last thing Mirissa could see was artemis's accusatory glare. The guard threw her into the office and artemis landed with a 'omph' at his feet
