Till Death Do Us Part..

Artemis backed away, clearly confused "why?"

Mark shrugged looking at the ground. "I think I've loved you since the day I accidently squirted you with the water gun and you got mad at me." He didn't reach out and touch her, keeping his hands deep in his pockets so as to not scare her to much.

Allen dodgeds the boy, tilting his head as he stopped next to the wall.
"A mediator? How, strange. I don't get your kind here often. Mostly ghosts like Gracie here."
He gestured at her and she flinched, her eyes darting to Brendon with amazement.

"Let her go." Brendon growled threateningly as he held his sword at the ready.

Artemis looked away. she knew she loved him too but she just couldn't bring herself to say the words. "thank you for taking me with you.." she mumbled

"Of course. I promised I would." Mark muttered and turned, focusing on his feet again as he walked to the garage and entered. He grabbed a back pack and began to dig for somethings, the book he had shown Artemis, along with a few others and some strange looking gadgets.

Artemis stood by the door, feeling dum as a doornob as she watched him pack. she wanted to help, but she didn't know what to do.

Mark reached down to a tool box and opened it up, punching in a combination on a key board inside, and the front of it swung open. He took the money from it and stuffed it into his bag as well and then stood and walked to the door, shutting the door behind him. "Need to potty break or anything before we go?"

"No" she replied, staring up at the sky as the sun touched the horizon in it's descent

Allen laughed harshly, "Now why would I do that? Gracie is too much fun!" He walked leisurely towards the cot where she struggled to pull herself further back into the wall."Now you just run along and I just might forget to track you later

"Good." Mark said and walked around to the back of the garage with a red and black Bugatti Veyron sat inside yet another garage that was off to the side. He pulled the keys from his pocket and unlocked the doors and looked at her. "You don't mind riding with me do you?"

Brendon growled and slammed the blade into the searcher, twisting it "I don't think so." he growled.

Artemis squirmed for a moment before clenctching her fist and relenting "no"

Grace's eyes got huge and Allen raised a brow.
"No?" He let the pain linger for a moment, relishing the feeling, before gripping the blade with his hands and dragging it out of his body. He released it, blood dripping down his fingers. He looked at it with interest.
"Hm, I don't believe I have bleed for a long time. I almost forgot the feeling."

Mark went and opened the door for her, careful not to touch her so as to not scare her, then closed the door after she got in and slid in on his side. He turned on the radio, happy to have something break the silence, and pulled out a five hour energy bottle, downing it in two gulps before he pulled out of the garage.

Brendon growled. ***** a level one. Brendon glared at him, kicking him back against the wall before quickly undoing Grace. "Run. Now. Don't look back." he told her and shoved her towards the door.

((*jaw drops* he has a nice car......))

Fear making Grace obedient, she ran.

Allen watched with interest. "You like the girl." He stepped away from the wall dusting off his shirt.

(*drools*)
"you okay?" artemis repeated, "you need me to drive?"

Grace ran towards the garage, hoping desperately for someone to be there. Preferably Bridget but she could handle the other two if it meant helping Brendon.

Brendon stared at him, his eyes holding a defiant look, his jaw clenched shut. He wasn't going to give into this guy.

Allen raised a brow, "The quiet type? Alright." He walked across the room and to a shelf above Grace's cot. It was covered in various knives, daggers, and swords. Smiling grimly he pulled ou his favorite. "Shall we?"

Brendon stared at him, holding his ground.

"Nah, I'm fine. Just..haven't been sleeping well." Mark muttered backing out. He stopped when he saw Grace and her frightened face. "Hold on." he said and got out. "Grace? Is everything ok?"

Artemis looked over the girl and shivered, noticing she was a spirit

Grace stopped, fear forcing tears down her cheeks. "B-Brendon found me..." She managed between panting breaths. "H-He told me to run...stayed behind to fight...Allen...level one...." She was about to faint, she could tell.
