Sound of Madness

Blake didn't hear her because of his music, but noticed her when he got to the door of the basement. "You been following me, baby?" He chuckled.

"Yeah. Just learning the house." Remy felt a blush rise to her cheeks when he called her Baby. No one ever talked to her like that. No one at her home town at least.

"Stalking may not be the best method," Blake said with a smirk. "I'm just going to work out, doubt you want to join me."

"Work out?" Remy perked up slightly. "Hell ya i want to join you."

(oh remy...)

Blake found that incredibly weird. "Um...okay then..." He flicked on the light switch and went downstairs.

(hah)

"I grew up with three older brothers, and was star of a track team at my high school." Remy explained to him as she went down the stairs.

"Cool?" Blake said, not getting the connection. He picked up some weights and began to lift, turning his music back on.

"Ergo, I had to work out a lot." Remy smiled to him before getting onto an ab worker. She started doing a couple sit ups and watched him through the corner of her eye.

Blake zoned out as he worked out, and hadn't caught that last part.

Sweat had started to build on remy and made her shirt stick to her. Instead of just dealing with it, she pulled off her shirt and just continued working out in her sports bra.

Blake happened to glance over, and raised an eyebrow but then looked away, back at the wall he'd been staring at.

Remy shifted over to the bench press and sighed. "Hey, can you spot me?" She called over to Blake.

(Remy...remy...remy...*sighs*.)

"I guess," Blake mumbled, putting down his weights and going over to spot her.

Remy laid back on the bench and reached up to the bar. Part of her knew that this would be a slight strain to lift, but that didnt stop her from trying. She lifted it up and started.

Blake stood there just in case, trying not to stare at her sports bra.

Remy pushed herself to the limit, but lost control of the bar. "Oh shit." She whispered softly.

Blake grabbed the bar before it could fall, since that was what spotting was for. "Why don't you stop now? Looks like you're maxed out."

"That would be smart." Remy sighed, pushing the bar back onto its rest and sighed. She slid out and rubbed her shoulder.

"Want me to show you your room?" Paris asked Julian.

Julian nodded and grabbed his bag and sketch pad again. "Lets go."

Remy glanced up at him. "Thanks."

Blake shrugged and put down the contraption. "No problem."

Paris led him up the stairs, being careful not to trip on her weird robe thing. "You get the one across the hall from me.!"

Remy stood up and grabbed her shirt and used it to wipe the sweat off her face.

"yay." Julian laughed lightly, pretending to be slightly sarcastic. "Thats good, really." He smiled to her.

"Hey!" Paris laughed, punching him in the arm, but not hard enough to hurt. Not that she could do it hard enough to hurt if she wanted to, anyway.

Julian laughed lightly and jsut shook his head. "I'm glad we are close again."

"I know, I didn't like when...we weren't," Paris said, pouting slightly.
