Jacob fell asleep.

Alison heard the last bell ring and she sat quietly on her bed tears streaming down.

Amelia felt her eyes get heavy and she fell asleep in his arms.

Xavier rushed to Alison's dorm.

Alison heard a knock on her door and she dressed and opened the door.

Xavier waited until she opened the door and then smiled. "Hey."

"Hello." Alison said letting him in. She ran and threw the razor away with the dried blood in it.

Xavier smiled at her as he came in.

Alison smiled and stood next to him. "How was class?"

Xavier shrugged. "Boring and lonely."

Alison laughed softly. "I agree with you." She said and pulled him to sit down and sat down on his lap and put her lips on his.

Xavier moved and kissed her deeply. His hands started to roam.

Alison smiled at pulled him closer to her. She then got into her right mindd and pulled away. «I cant do this.» She said standing and waking to a table in her dorm.

Xavier frowned and followed her. "What's wrong Alison?" he asked softly. He looked at her with loving eyes.

Alison shook her head. "Nothing its just your... well your perfect and im.. just not."

Xavier chuckled. "Trust me, I'm not perfect."

Amelia opened her eyes and stretched a puny bit. She smiled and glanced at Jacob.

"Yes you are! Your italian and your family is great and well i fall short." Alison said turning to look at him with pain and guilt in her troubled broken eyes.

Jacob woke up and smiled at her. "Hello."

Xavier stroked her cheek. "Trust me, I'm not. My dad is drunk half the time and I never knew my mother. My older brother on the other hand is almost never there for me when I need him. So, trust me when I say I'm not perfect."

Amelia looked into Jacob's eyes and her smile widened. "Hi."

"My father....My father... Abuses me... my brother nole died in a fire and... my mother left when I was 5." Alison said tears comming down. She took off her shirt and showed him the scares and fresh cuts along her arm. "This is why I cant be with you." She whispered. She turned an dshowed him the slash makes across her back.

Jacob chuckled "How did you sleep?"

Xavier looked at her and a fire lit in his eyes. He gently traced the marks, being careful as to not hurt her. "You can to be with me. This doesn't change anything besides the fact that I now plan on protecting you with my life."

"Pretty good. How about yourself?" Amelia asked.

Alison looked at him and asked softly "You... you dont hate me?"

"Very well." Jacob chuckled.

Xavier shook his head and slid his arms around her carefully. "No, I don't, I love you. But if any of these are caused by you, promise me you won't hurt yourself?"

Amelia smiled widely. "Well that's good." She brushed her lips against his.

"I cant..." Alison whispered.

Jacob smiled and pulled her close to him.

Xavier pulled her close to him. ""Please..." he whispered.

Amelia's smile widened. She slid her arms around hid neck and looked into his eyes.

"I will break the promise." Alison admited.

Jacob smiled and chuckled. He kissed her head.

Xavier stroked her cheek. He didn't think he could stand to see her hurt. "At least try?" He brushed his lips against hers.

Amelia cuddled against him. She had broken her promise to herself big time, but she found it well worth it.
