Kale watched her and gave a small nod. "Okay then." He turned and finished cleaning up. At least now he knew he hadn't done anything wrong. She was just predjudice.(sp?)

"Yes, and you're predjudice against guys. I know." Kale said, his voice not accusing as he swept the hair into a dust pan and threw it away.

Kale watched her, his face falling slightly. "Glad you feel that way about me." He muttered and put the chair away and walked down the hall.

Artemis sighed.. she hadn't meant it that way. She wanted to run after him but lost her nerve. tears found there way down her face and she retreated behind her hair and into the shadows of the room

Kale smiled at her and gently pulled her hair up and over the back of the chair, before sliding his scissors through it carefully. He styled the tips, giving it some layers, then looked over at her. "Alright, stand up and tell me if that's short enough."

She hesitated again. "This is nice." She mumbled. "I mean." She trailed off with another blush. She tilted her head away and hid it in his chest the best she could in her position.

Artemis remained there for some time, wanting to emerge from her corner but fear consumed her. She located kales mind outside but refused to even try to approach him, not while he was in the sun

They didn't really need wood. Kale just found the job...therapeutic. It let him work out any frustration, made his muscles work hard and pump endophines through his system that always made him feel better. When the sun began to be to hot, he came inside for some water.

Jack smiled and chuckled, rubbing her back. "This is nice."

Artemis stayed huddled in the corner for so long- she fell asleep, her face plastered with tears

Kale walked into the kitchen and sighed when he saw Artemis asleep in the corner with tears on her cheeks. In a way it broke his heart, made her look like she was still in a cage. He frowned and went over and gently lifted her up and carried her to a spare room and laid her on the bed, then turned to leave.

Mirissa smiled and closed her eyes. "Thanks Jack." She mumbled starting to fall asleep aga. She let out a sleepy chuckle. Falling asleep in his arms again.

Kale came in a while later and sighed, shaking her shoulder gently. "Artemis, Artemis hun you need to wake up."

Artemis startled awake and Kale went flying through the air until she came to her senses and stopped him mid way, lowering him to the ground. "i'm sorry" she breathed, looking horrified
