When Order Collapses, Say Hello To Chaos

Seth: I grinned. "I can break into almost anywhere. I try not to though, if i can help it." i admitted. "Shall we be off?"

Alice nodded and started the car up. "Hurry and get in. We probley caused some attention already."

Seth: I nodded and hopped in the passenger seat, hoping she knew how to drive well.

Alice pulled the car out and began to drive. She was a very good driver even though it was her first time. She drove them to the warehouse and she hid the car.

Seth: "You drive really well! I half expected to get in a crash and like, break an important bone or something..... but onyl because i wasnt sure what to expect from your driving." i said, hopping out and heading for the warehouse.

Alice laughed (her laugh sounds like bells she hates it but other people... like it.... ackward..). "I agree I thought the exact same thing but Im a natural." She smiled and followed him.

Seth: I smiled. "Well, im glad since all my bones are still intact because of it." i said. I managed to get the warehouse door open and began poking through the boxes, looking for edible food. This had been a dry goods warehouse, do there should be edible dried food like dried fruit or nuts or something.

Alice looked around and found a box of nuts. "Found some..." She put the box down and let out a terrifying shriek.

Seth: I jumped as she shrieked, whirling around, instinctively drawing my gun. "What is it?!" i exclaimed.

"A...a human...." Alice turned and puked. Inside the box was the head of a human girl.

Seth: I walked over and peered inside the box, immediately wanting to puke myself when i saw the poor girl's severed head. The sight shocked and sickened me, a deep sadness settling in my heart. Suddenlyeverything felt very heavy. I sat down with a slight thud, not bothering to support my own weight as i moved to sit, ignoring the pain it caused. Something dripped onto the leg of my pants and i realized that silent tears had sprung from my silver eyes, sliding free.

Alice whiped her mouth and kicked the box. She sat down next to Seth and took his face in her hands. "Im... sorry you had to see that..." SHe whispered.

Seth: I was trembling now, completely unaware of her touch until i heard her voice right there. "I..... i.... h-hate seeing people die..... seeing them hurt.... such a w-waste of LIFE!" i managed to choke out, voice trembling.

Alice nodded and she pulled him close to her and she gav ehim a hug and held him. "Dont worry...." She whispered and held him. She was trembling as well but she cared more about him then herself.

Seth: I tensed for a moment, surprised at having human contact that wasnt pain-related, but got over it quickly. I hugged her back, holding her close, face buried in the base of her neck. I knew i was probably coming off as weak and pathetic, but since i was having a bit of a breakdown, i didnt really care at the moment.

Alice held him and pulled back slightly and kissed his cheek and gave him a weak smile. "You have me." Alice whispered.

Seth: I let out a long, rattling breath, trying to bring myself back together. I wiped the remaining tears from my eyes. "Thank you..." i said. "Im sorry.... for freaking out. It just..... it just pains me, to see people dying, or to see bodies defiled like that. And sometimes its hard to hold it in." i said.

"I know.... my family was killed in front of me for food where I lived." Alice said suddering.

Seth: I nodded. "Yeah, my family's not so great either. Mom committed suicide in front o me when i was five. My dad beat on me until i was finally old enough to leave. He probably would've taken it too far and killed me if id stuck around..." i muttered, laughing a ragged, hollow laugh.

Alice nodded sadly and laid her head down on his shoulder. "My father... beat me when I was little before the war and now... he is gone."

(Erm, the war was a few hundred years ago, so he wouldnt have been around before the war...)


Seth: I smiled grimly. "Well, that makes two of us with a**hole dads." i said. This wasnt uncommon. Happy or whole families were few and far between. As a result of poverty, women would often work as prostitutes for food or money or other necessities and as a result, many unwanted children popped up who were beat on or simply abandoned, unwanted mistakes. So having a bad backstory certainly wasnt unheard of.

(Then lets just say I didnt say that xD)

Alice nodded and gave him a said smile. "I have always wanted a nice family with a good husband and a good life... but that will never happen."

Seth: I shrugged. "You never know. The world can surprise you. Work hard enough towards your goal and maybe you can make it happen." i said, smiling a bit.

"Its hard to work at that." Alice said with a small smile and said "Food?"

Seth: I shrugged. "Still. All good things in life are hard to obtain. Doesnt mean we shouldnt stop trying. And yeah, we should finish finding food." i said. I stood and began rummaging through crates for edible items, creating a small pile of what i found off to the side.
