Wishing stars

Lucia's hands moved to Tucker's chest, feeling his heart beating hard. She liked the feeling of his steady pulse under her fingers. She felt like she could stay here as long as he kept kissing her and time would never move. Maybe time really wasn't moving. She hadn't felt the exhiliration she was feeling since Ryder had kissed her the first time, pushing her against the wall, just to prove his point... But in a way, she liked this more.

Tucker slipped his hand down to her leg, bringing it up and over his, then moved his hand back to her back as he kissed her, making sure to keep himself in check. He was acutely aware of her hands on his chest and it sent shivers down his skin. He liked being this close to her, kissing her like this, and just being with her in general.

Lucia shivered and then pulled back, a sheepish smile playing up her lips. "You still have to teach me how to bowl," she reminded him. As much as she wanted to stay in the hotel room and make out with him, she also agreed that it was a good idea to get out, at least for a little bit.

"Oh..ya." Tucker's cheeks turned a slight pink as he realized he had totally forgotten about that. He kissed her again gently and sighed. "Alright, let's go." He manuvered his way out of the bed and stood, raising his brow at her as he held out his hand to her.

Lucia smiled at his blush and blushed, too. She took his hand and looked down at her outfit. She hoped her shorts and t-shirt would suffice for bowling. She felt like it would, seeing her friends bowl in this type of thing before. The left the room and went out to the truck, Lucia sliding next to Tucker with a small smile.

Tucker smiled as he let his arm drape around her as they pulled out of the parking lot and headed towards the bowling alley. They got there just in time, getting the last lane. He helped her find a good ball and then put their names into the computer and smiled. "You're up first."

Lucia smiled nervously and threw the ball like she had seen, knocking down some seven pins and then sighing, waiting as her ball came back. She tossed it again and knocked down two more, smiling a little. Now, she'd watch as she got her butt kicked, sure Tucker was probably good.

Tucker smiled as he watched her and chuckled. He picked up his ball and rolled it, knocking down all but two, then missed his spare completely. He shook his head and looked at her with a small smile. "I think you're better at this than I am."

Lucia grinned and went up for her next turn. She rolled the ball down and knocked down all the pins. A large X came across the computer screen and she sucked in a breath. "Uh-oh! I think I broke it," she said, before the screen cleared up. "Oh..."

Lucia grinned as the game ended. He had beat her by ten points and she smiled, sliding her hand in his like it was the most natural thing in the world. "Thanks for bringing me out here," she said, pressing her lips to his cheek. "It was a lot of fun."

Tucker smiled down at her and blushed slightly at the kiss. "Anytime, Lu." He paid for the game, then walked with her back to his tuck with a content sigh. "Where to next?" The sky had turned dark while they had been bowling which ment there probably wasn't all that much to do.

Lucia shrugged and looked around. "Maybe there's a place we can stop that's fairly secluded?" She asked, cocking her head. "There stars are really bright tonight. Watching them sounds like it might be pretty fun, escpecially away from city lights."

Tucker gave a small nod and helped her into the truck. He got in, starting her up, and headed out towards the edge of town, finding a nice field to park in. He smiled as he got out, grabbing the blankets and tossing them into the back before he helped Lucia up and in.

Lucia grinned and stumbled as she got in, falling into Tucker. She chuckled and sat down next to him, pulling herself close to his side and looked up at the sky. She rested her head on his neck, planting a very gentle kiss on his jaw and then looking back up at the sky.

Tucker smiled at her and adjusted them so they were laying down in the bed of the truck, staring up at the sky. He pulled the blanket over her so she wouldn't get cold, and then just held her as he watched the sky. His mind was wandering to what would happen tomorrow, and he wasn't willing to be the one that broke the silence.

Lucia curled up against him and smiled, her hand resting on his chest. This is what love feels like, she thought to herself. Having nothing to say on a warm night and not letting the silence overwhelm you. She wanted to lay in his arms all night and forget about tomorrow.

Tucker held her, taking a deep breath as he rubbed her back gently. "They're beautiful tonight, aren't they?" He asked, refurring to the stars, though his eyes were on her. She was beautiful tonight, too.

Lucia looked up and nodded. "Sometimes they just make me feel so small," she admitted with a smile. Then, she turned her head to Tucker and smiled a little more. "What?" She asked. "Do I have something on my face?"

Tucker smirked and shook his head, chuckling slightly. "Nah, you just look beautiful is all." Wow...that all came out didn't it? He watched her with a small smile.

Lucia's cheeks turned a bright shade of pink and she smiled. "Thanks," she said, leaning over and kissing his cheek. His opinion was one that really mattered to her, not that she was going to let him know right now.

Tucker smiled at her, getting a mischevious glint to his eye. "You know, actually. You do have something, let me get it real quick." He moved over and kissed her tenderly.

Lucia smiled and kissed him a little deeper. That was a clever trick on his part and she couldn't think how perfect this was, kissing him under the stars. They were close together, under a blanket or two and she felt warm. Especially because of the joy that pumped through her veins.

Tucker smiled as he kissed her, pulling her close as he wrapped his arms around her, his hands furrowing into her back slightly to keep her close. He didn't want to ever let her go. He would sleep here with her if she'd let him. If she didn't make them go back to the hotel. It was quiet, peaceful. He liked it.

Lucia felt his heart beating as they kissed and the warmth of their bodies made the blanket covering them feel even toastier. She wanted to laugh at the whole situation and she felt like she would if her mouth hadn't been so preoccupied... Not that she minded. She would stay out here all night, if he let them.

Tucker's hands turned into fists as he kissed her as he fought with himself to keep in check. He wasn't about to screw this up. He did let his hand slide down to her leg, hooking it around his again before moving it back to her back, balling it into a fist again.

Lucia's rands ran over his chest and then one came to rest on the back of her neck and the other was on his arm. Lucia's kisses became deeper, like it was nearly essential to kiss him if she wanted to live. But it wasn't... It was more to stay sane.
