Wishing stars

Tucker swallowed hard as he quickly looked away, stripping the rest of the way and climbing into the shower, his face a deep red. Great Gaia the power that girl had over him.

Lucia slipped out of the rest of her clothes and slid into the shower with him, standing just past the stream of hot water. It was hitting Tucker, though. She walked under it and put her hands on his shoulders, running then down his chest and then back up to his neck with a smile.

Tucker smiled down at her, still blushing a deep red as his arms wrapped around her. The room was filled with passion that night, passion and love. By the time morning came around, Tucker was fast asleep, holding tight to Lucia under the covers. The only thing that made him stir was the sun from the dawn, peaking in through the windows.

Lucia was curled tight to Tucker's side, dressed in one of his t-shirts. Her head was resting in the crook of her neck and as she drifted into consiousness, memories of the previous evening filled her with warmth and she shuddered a little in happiness. She loved him. She was beyond in love with him.

Tucker groaned slightly, the sun finding its way into his eyes. He frowned, adjusting so his back was to the window, shielding them both from the light. He yawned, holding her closer as he fixed the blankets, his eyes sliding shut again.

Lucia opened one eye to peek at him and then shifted, so her back was pressed against him, her hips were against his. She shaped herself to fit him. In a way, she felt like that's what she was doing and she wasn't even noticing until now. She was better with Bailey, she knew how to collect eggs without screeching, and she knew some of the farm hands. Her mood was instantly brought down, though as a single word flooded her mind. Funeral.

This was the one day that Tucker did not need to be up by dawn to do the chores. Donny had promised they'd get done, and he trusted him. Therefore, he was refusing to let himself wake up. He kept his eyes closed, though a small smile formed on his lips when she moved. His lips moved to her neck, kissing it gently, seductively almost.

Lucia let a quiet gasp out and smile as his lips danced over the skin of her neck. "Morning," she said, her mood reviatlized again. This was a good way to start the inevitabley bad morning. It was dimmed in her mind, though, just waking up in his bed.

"Good morning," Tucker murmered against her skin, a sly grin forming on his face. "Good morning beautiful, how was your night?" he sang softly in her ear. "Mine was wonderful with you by my side and when I open my eyes, I see your sweet face and it's a good mornin beautiful day."

Lucia smiled, turning to face him and cutting him off by pushing their lips together. Her mind buzzed pleasantly and her tongue ran over his bottom lip lightly, as if asking permission to enter. He was like a drug, she felt. If she was away from his toucc, even just a hand on her shoulder, for too long, she'd go insane.

Tucker smiled as his arms tightened around her, kissing her back. His tongue pressed gently to hers, his hands wandering her body beneath the sheets.

Lucia kissed him a bit deeper, one of her hands resting on his neck and the other traveling over his chest and stomach lightly, barely brushing over the skin before it rested on his chest.

Tucker groaned softly, giving in, his body quivering. He moved over her, their bodies intwining again. He wasn't so great at saying no...

Lucia clung to him, lost in passion, her body seeming to melt into him. They stayed like that for nearly an hour, before relaxing. Lucia was laying on him, her head resting on his chest. "I love you," she said, in a slightly choked whisper.

"I love you," Tucker said quietly, his breathing uneven. He stared at the ceiling, then closed his eyes, taking deep breaths as he tried to steady himself. He fixed the blankets so they were up and around Lucia's shoulders, keeping them both covered. It was a good thing it was still early and Bailey was still asleep. He tried to clear his mind so he could think, getting frustrated when he couldn't get past the complete bliss his body was in. But that was the problem with Tucker. He thought to much.

Lucia closed her eyes, focusing on taking deep breaths. Her body and mind were both buzzing as she relaxed. She yawned quietly and basked in the combined warmth of his body and the blanket. Her eyes flicked up to him momentarily, noticing his brow was furrowed like he was in thought. She rested her hand on his shoulder, her fingers stroking the smooth skin of his neck.

Tucker smiled at her touch, his mind focusing on that, seeing as how it was the one thing it could focus on. He held her close, his finger tips trailing up and down her spine, one arm draped around her waist. "Lucia?" He asked softly, not really wanting to discuss what was on his mind and ruin the moment, but...he had to know. The small thought had been nagging at him ever since they got into the shower. "How long...will you love me?" he hoped that came out right and that he wasn't sounding like he was trying to talk lovey-dovey, although he felt it was already a little to late for that question considering how much they had given to each other.

"Forever," Lucia said after great thought. She would have said until she died, but she'd still keep loving him. She would have said until he stopped loving her, but she'd still go on loving him. It may have been her bain being clouded up with pleasure, but she imagined herself getting married to him.

"Enought to marry me, when this is all over and you are out of highschool?" Tucker asked as his eyes found hers, watching her carefully. He wondered how he would take it if she said no, but more so...what if she said yes?

Lucia's body stiffened slightly as she thought it all over. It was a lot to comprehend. She knew in her heart that she did want to marry him. Even now, so soon after Ryder died. She met his eyes, her body relaxing slightly. "Yeah, enough to marry you."

Tucker relaxed, peace filling him again. It didn't mean something couldn't change, but it did make him feel better. "Ok," he said and kissed her gently. "I love you that much too."

Lucia rested her head against his chest again and was sure he could feel her heart racing against the walls of her chest. She wasn't sure what was going to happen, but she was content with just hearing him say that much. She pushed her hair back with one hand and then grabbed his hands, pulling them around her tightly.

Tucker held her close, rubbing her back gently as he looked back up at the ceiling as if he was hoping for some sign that everything was going to be ok. He looked over at the clock and sighed with a small frown. "We still have three hours before we have to get up."

Lucia sighed and relished the feelings of his arms around her. "What should we do?" She asked, her voice slightly quieter than before. Maybe she could make breakfast or clean something? She had school tomorrow, too. She pursed her lips. Why coudn't she lay here forever?

Jaxon: My eyes widened. Leukemia? "But that doesn't mean she's definitely going to die or anything, does it?" I asked, frowning. "Why wouldn't she want people to know?" It wasn't exactly something people should keep from each other, right? Then again, she barely knew me. She only knew me as the sweaty guy she'd landed on...
