Megan heard James and stood. She went over to the doorframe and leanded against it just watching him. She pursed her lips and watched. "Is everything ok?" SHe asked finally breaking the silence.

There was silence and it cause James to frown. He finally had an idea of who was out here. He turned toward the door frame, his heart pounding. "Whatever happens, whatever you hear, do not come out here. Stay inside and lock the door. Whatever you do, don't open the door for anyone," he said softly. "And Megan? I love you with all my heart," he added before he moved further into the darkness.

Megan wanted to run after him. Every part of her drove her insane. She fianally ran after him. "WAIT FOR ME!!" She yelled and tripped and fell. "James!!!"

James listened carefully as he went to Megan's side. He scooped her in his arms, quickly getting back inside with her. He set her on the bed, his eyes holding a fire in them. "Megan, I need you to stay here. No matter what." His hands moved to cup her face. "I love you and I don't want you to get hurt, now please stay here."

"no!!" SHe fought against him! "Stop please! Take me with you!" She cried and wanted him. She needed him and she.. just got him!! She was cring and didnt want to lose him.

James sighed and knew she wouldn't stay here. He also knew that if she went out there she would most likely end up dead. He started to stroke her tears away and kissed her forehead. "Love, I love you and I don't want to lose you. This is the only reason I'm telling you to stay here. the thing that's outside is something that I have to deal with alone. That thing will also, most likely, kill you if you go out there. So please, listen to me."

Megan shook her head faster. "James... please..." She cried and kissed him with a passion behind it. She couldnt lose him! Her eyes closed and she got lost in the moment.

James kissed her back, his heart breaking slightly. He didn't want to leave her there, but he had to. He also knew that she wouldn't fully understand why he was telling her to stay. His life was on the line, that was why that thing was out there and he didn't want her life on the line too. He pulled back from the kiss, his eyes dark. "Please, Megan. I'm begging you..."

Megan sighed and nodded but the tears stayed. "Come back... right then... please..." She whispered. Her eyes held his and she kissed his cheek. "Please..." She whispered.

James kissed her forehead. "I'll be back as soon as I can, Love. I promise." He leaned forward and lowered his mouth to hers, kissing her passionately. He pulled back after a moment, kissed her cheek and stood. He turned away and started toward the door. "Lock the door behind," he said softly, his voice husky. He then proceeded to walk out the door and back into the blackness.

Megan felt hurt and tears fell down from her eyes. She walked to the door and locked the door. She looked out the window. She felt alone and tired and sat down by the door and hugged her kneese to her chest.

James' heart broke slightly as he walked further into the night. He stopped, looking all around him. "Come out from wherever you are, Jason. Let's settle this here and now. No more hiding and no more cowardice." Jason stepped out from the shadows.

Megan finally gave up. She opened the door and walked silently into the night. She clothes were black so she belnded in. She found JAmes with another guy and she knelt down and watched.

James growled toward Jason, oblivious that Megan was out there. "You're right, James, we do need to settle this. Like for starters, why the hell did you kill my parents? Especially when..." Jason was cut off by James tackling him to the ground.

Megan tried not give alittle scream. Her eyes watched and a fire had started in her hand. She pulnged her hand into the icy snow and sighed. It felt better then she expected.

Jason pushed James away, a growl coming from his lips. "Why did you kill them? Huh?" James turned away from Jason, noticing Megan. His only thought was shit. He turned back to Jason. "Why are you here, JAson?"
"Don't you like seeing your older half brother?"

Megan stood up and her hand was lit on fire. "Step away from him!" She said her eyes looked like flames. "Now or I will burn you like a piece of paper." SHe felt confident and stepped closer. "Leave!"

Jason turned toward the girl now standing there and backed away from James slightly. He was hurting and couldn't believe he was related to James. He couldn't believe the kind of monster that James was. "I'll leave as soon as my brother tells me why he killed my parents and even his own mother," he whispered softly. Just then he was tackled by James... In wolf form. James was snarling and growling. He was also snapping toward Jason.

Megan threw fire at James. "STOP IT JAMES!" She yelled and looked at Jason. "He... killed them?" She whispered. She started to faulter. "When did this... why... when.." She felt sick and fainted because of the power she used.

James moved out of the way quickly, glaring at Jason. Jason sat up and then stood. He had noticed that the girl passed out. His attention was no longer on his brother, but rather her. He knelt by her side and gently shook her shoulder. "Miss?" He glanced up, hoping his brother was behaving, but he no longer saw his brother.

Megan woke up and took in a deep breath. "Sorry... it was my power... How long was I out?" She asked sitting up rubbing her head. It hurt like heck and she felt dizzy.

"You've only been out for a couple of minutes, Miss. It's no problem. You should probably get to your dorm or home or whatever," Jason said, offering a small smile.

Megan shook her head. "No... I will not leave until I get answers now..." SHe said feeling frustrated. She stood up still feeling dizzy. She looked at JAmes with hurt in her eyes. "I..." SHe felt betrayed.
