Derek watched her, a small frown on his lips. He didn't like either idea at all and realized she must be a werewolf. His eyes locked on her and he watched her for a moment before writing. 'No, no winding up in jail or living as a wolf. They're off-limit choices. I don't want to see something like that happen to you.'

Rose smiled widely. "I'm happy that you seem so concerned about my well being. Okay, you better." Her smile widened into a small grin and she was happy that she had run into him. She now had someone to talk to and it felt nice.

Blaire: I frowned, glaring at him. "You cant control my life. I'll do whatyever i want." i retorted defiantly. "Why do you care, anyways? You've known me all of five minutes." i pointed out.


Ash: I smiled. "Meh, i care about people a like." i said, smiling. "Not so much about people i hate, but i have a lot of morals, in any case. Call me wierd, but its just how i am." i said, shrugging a bit.

Megan looked at him and smiled. "Your really good. You are really good." She said. Her face turned a scarlet color. She watched him and waited for a responce.

Derek's frown deepened the slightest bit as he thought about what she said. It was true that he couldn't control what she did. When she asked that question, he looked at her and let his mind go over the question several times. He honestly had no idea why he cared so he just shrugged.

Rose smiled and looked at him. She liked that he had morals; that wasn't seen to often. "I don't think you're weird, I think you're sweet. You make me think about how there are actually good guys out there." Her smile widened the slightest bit.

James' cheeks grew even redder and he simply shrugged. "I'm not that good, there are people who are way better than me out there. It's just a hobby." Although he did want to be an artist someday....

Megan shook her head. "No your really good." She held up her sketch of the rose. "Mine is crap." She said with a smile. SHe wanted him to see that she liked it.

James smiled warmly, the color starting to fade from his cheeks some. "No, i'm just okay. Your's is not crap, it's good. It's a pretty rose." His eyes drifted from her drawing to her face. His smile widened some when he realized how pretty her eyes were. He kicked that thought out of his head and looked back down at his notebook.

Blaire: "Dont know, huh?" i said. "Well, thanks, ig uess. You're the only person i know whose ever taken an interest in my future." i said, laughing a bit.


Ash: "Really? Thanks." i said, laughing a bit. Most people i knew thought i was really wierd because i cared about other people, even humans, who were only supposed to be meals to me. It was nice to know that there was at least one person out there who didnt mind.

Derek smiled sheepishly and nodded. He looked down at the notebook. 'No problem. Why am I the only one who's ever taken interest? What about your boyfriend?' He wrote it quickly and looked at her, his eyes suddenly filled with curiosity.

Rose smiled widely as she looked at him. She honestly didn't know why he seemed so surprised. "Really. It's nice to see a guy actually has morals." She paused a moment and shook her head, the movement causing a lock of hair to fall in her face. "No problem, I speak the truth." Her smile widened slightly and she blew at the lock of hair to try and get it to move.

Blaire: I saw what he wrote and almost fell off the bench laughing. I finally got myself under control and managed to speak. "Boyfriend? Seriously? I dont have a boyfriend. I dont usually get attached to people." i said. "And my parents have given up on me, they pretty much think im a juvenile delinquent destined for jail. They dont care anymore." i said, laughing.


Ash: On random impulse, i brushed the hair out of her face gently. "Well, im glad...." i said, smiling.


(Ugh, sorry about the crappy Ash post.... having a hard time writing for him. >.O)

Derek blinked when she started laughing and felt confused. He frowned slightly and scratched his head in his confusion as he watched her. When she spoke he understood and any trace of confusion left his face. He looked down at the notebook and started scribbling. 'Oh. So, what about friends? I'm sorry about your parents.'

Rose blushed the slightest bit when he brushed the hair from her face and smiled. "Well, I think it's good that you actually have morals and I would never tell a lie, no matter how harsh the truth is. I think the only lie I have ever really told is saying I'm fine when I'm not."

Blaire: I pulled a face. "My parents are morons. Dont apologize for them. As for friends, i dont really have any. Dont have 'em, dont want 'em, dont need 'em." i said. I was, quite literally, a lone wolf.


Ash: "That's good. Lies tend to just make things worse." i said, straightening up. "So, am i going to get to see the rest of this place without getting lost?" i asked.

Derek nodded and watched her. He could understand about parents being morons. After all, his real parents had put him up for adoption when he was ten and he now had adopted parents that were nice. He pushed those thoughts and memories out of his mind for the time being and started scribbling in his notebook again. 'So you aren't even going to try and have one friend while your here?' He looked back up at her, curious for her answer.

"They do." Rose smiled and nodded. "Yeah, just follow me. Tell me if your still completely confused after I show you around." She started walking and hoped he was following.

Blaire: I shrugged. "I wouldnt mind having friends, i guess. But it isnt something im actively trying to achieve." i said. Friends.... i couldnt help but think that they would be weaknesses for me. I wouldnt go looking for them.


Ash: I nodded. "Will do." i said, following her, pacing myself so i could walk beside her. I payed careful attemtion to everywhere we went, trying to remember every inch of the place.

Derek looked at her and then started to write. 'Friends are good, Blaire. They're there for you when you need them and they stick by your side no matter what.' He didn't show her the notebook yet, but instead paused and started writing again. 'I could be your friend if you want...' he looked down as he showed it to her. He had a feeling that she really wouldn't care and that she might laugh.

Rose smiled as she walked around and pointed stuff out to him. She glaced at him and stopped for a minute. "How you holding up? Is stuff sinking in or am I possibly giving you a re-tour tomorrow?" She looked at him, one eyebrow raised.

Blaire: I read the notebook and got a thoughtful expression on my face. "Well, if you think you can put up with having me as a friend, i dont mind." i said, shrugging. Maybe this'd be good for me.


Ash: "I think some of this is getting through. Its making mor sense now, in any case." i said thoughtfully. Hopefully this'd stop me from getting lost.

Derek looked up at her again as she spoke, a small smile on his lips. he turned to a clean page in his notebook and started writing. 'You aren't that bad, Blaire. I can put up with you.' His smile widened as he showed it to her happily.

Rose smiled. "I'll so you around again tomorrow. It may sink in more then too. This place is like a maze, so if you ever need to know where something is and you see me, just ask." Her smile widened some and she started walking again, but this time a bit slower.

Blaire: I gaped at the page. "WHAAAAAH?! Seriously?! Crap! Im going to have to try harder!!!!!" i said. If i planned to be kicked out, i was really going to have to ramp things up!


Ash: "Will do." i said, smiling. "Thank you." i added. "I appreciate you taking the time to help me not get horrifically lost." i said. I kept my pace slow, my steps short so that i wouldnt pull ahead of her. I occasionally had issues when walking with people because i walked fairly fasat and because of my long legs, had long strides.

Derek frowned slightly and looked at the page. He then started to scribble again. 'What do you mean you're going to have to try harder?' He showed her the page, his brows furrowed. He didn't like the idea of her trying harder to be annoying or anything else like that. He also had a feeling that what she said was related to her trying to get expelled.

"Good." Rose's smile widened. "You're welcome, Ash. I really don't mind showing you around, I know how it is to start a giant school like this with all of it's halls and whatnot." Her smile grew as she pointed out a few more things. "So, tell me about you Ash."

(Hahaha, Derek XD so good at figuring out Blaire's intent already...)

Blaire: "Try harder to get on people's nerves. Or im never getting out of here...." i muttered. Already plots, plans, and other devious thought trains were running through my mind.....


Ash: "There really isnt much to tell." i said. "Ive always been a vampire, i was born like this. My family and i dont get along. They dont approve of me or my views on many things. I enjoy playing music." i said, not really sure what else to say.

Derek's frown deepened as he watched Blaire. He didn't do anything for a moment, but then shook his head. He liked having her as a friend and didn't want her to get expelled. He finally let out a breath he hadn't known he had been holding and started scribbling again. 'No, I don't want to see my friend get in trouble. I also don't want you to get expelled. Can you please stop plotting?'

Rose listened quietly and nodded. "I know how you feel about the family thing. It's the same way with my happy go lucky, sunshine, always positive, parents. They're always perky and happy, no matter what." She shook her head and looked up at him. "What instrument do you play and what kind of music do you play?"

Ash: "My parents just try to change me constantly, force me to conform to their ideals and beliefs. Not going to happen." i said, frowning. "Anyways, i play guitar. Rock and metal, mostly." i said. Music was a much better topic than family... a favourite topic of mine, actually.


Blaire: I glared a bit. "On principle, no, i cant stop plotting. And not getting in trouble is like, impossible for me. But i can stop trying to get expelled, i guess...." i said reluctantly. I really didnt want to stay here.... but maybe id give it a shot.

Rose nodded again and decided that parents was an easy topic for both of them to ignore and push out of the way. She smiled when he said guitar. "That is wicked. Rock and metal are definitely, in my eyes, the best type of music." Her smile widened slightly. "Do you play any other instruments?"

Derek watched her, his frown staying in place. When she said she would stop trying to get expelled he smiled and hugged her. He pulled back and started scribbling in his notebook. 'Thank you. I am officially happy about that.' he looked down at the notebook for a minute and added something else. 'Do you know sign language?'

Blaire: I tensed a little, mildly surprised when he hugged me, but i tried not to let it show too much. "Er, you're welcome, i guess." i said. "Sign language? No, not really. Ive never had a reason to learn it." i said. Not to mention id never had anyone to teach me.


Ash: "Agreed." i said, grinning. "I'll listen to almost anything, but rock and metal are my favourites. I dont play any other instruments, really, but i sing." i said. I wasnt sure my voice counted as an instrument.

Derek smiled and laughed silently at her reaction to him hugging her. He stated to write again. 'I don't bite so there is no reason to tense when I hug you. Would you be interested in learning it at all or not?' He looked up at her and hoped she would like to lean it. If she learned it, it would mean that she would recognize him using it and he wouldn't use all of his notebook paper...

Rose grinned at him. "It's the same thing here. That's cool that you sing. You know you're now going to have to play for me sometime and sing, right?" She raised an eyebrow as she looked at him. "Favorite instrument to listen to, but it can't be guitar because that would be a bias answer."

Blaire: "Im not worried aobuot you biting me. You dont smell like a vampire." i said. "Im just not used to people touching me when im not fighting, therefore being injured or injuring." i said. "As for the sign language thing, yes, i would be interested to learn it." i said. It would be useful if i intended to hang out with him a lot.


Ash: "Id be happy to play for you sometime. I love performing for people." i said, smiling. "Other than guitar, my favourite instrument to listen to.... would probably be piano or keyboards, i think. That's sort of a tough one." i said.
