The Rose Thorn Acadamey

Phoenix saw someone in the hall and she brushed past her, clutching her wrist. She wasn't in the mood for talking with another class skipper.

((girl or guy? Both of my charries are free really. Jake, my violent troublemaker, will be free in a little bit and Phoenix is free. She's wandering the halls))

Fawn: I walked through one of the many halls, and quite some time passed before I met another person. The girl was clutching her wrist, and blood was running through her fingers. Without thinking, I reached into my bag and pulled out some gauze that I kept in there to use as a quick rope if I needed it. I tore off a decent sized piece and tossed it at her.

James walked off with a sigh and went inside to search for a drink. He felt the rush he usually had when in class fade and during this time he was extra careful with his temper. Being out of class made him edgy, and more then filled with energy.

Elesa

I walked the halls to make it to the shooting grounds, passing by other students. It's amazing how many people were here, and I didn't know any of them.
People always tended to hurt me, and I didn't want to go through with that so I guess I am sort of a loner. No wonder I got so many disgusted glances.
But, I guess it wouldn't hurt to have someone to trust. Maybe I could actually try being social, for once.

James slipped the top part of his suit off and hanged his black belt over his neck and gratefully found a waterfountain. He leaned over and drank and ignored some of the students that looked at him.

Elesa

I was walking the halls, stuck in a daydream involving escaping this dreadful place, when I ran straight into a guy at a water fountain. "Sorry" I murmured, then realized it was one of the martial artists.
Those guys were so awesome. My eyes widened and I started to walk away hoping he didn't want to beat my face in. You never knew with those level 4 people.

James's hand flashed out and caught her by the shoulder. He chuckled turning to face her. "It's fine. What's the rush?" He gave her a small smile and released her shoulder.

Elesa

I instantly flinched when he grabbed my shoulder, I had gotten beating from level 4's plenty of times, but then he was actually nice about it. I blinked, unsure of what to do and just said," Um nothing really, I...I guess. Thanks for not getting mad and all..." I just stared at him cautiously wondering if this was a joke. But, maybe not, he actually seemed sincere.

His smile faded some. "I'm not as bad as some here. I'm only bad when someone pushes it though." He shrugged. "The name's James."

Elesa

" Oh okay. I'm Elesa, nice to meet you." I suddenly hoped that my instructors could wait a while longer. It felt nice to talk to someone. I noticed his black belt. "Wow you must be pretty good, not many people have those..."

James shrugged. "I use to do taekwondo before I was shipped off here. I've already had experience." He relaxed slightly, happy to have someone to talk to.

Elesa

I smiled at him. "Wow that's awesome! I've always wanted to learn taekwondo, but I guess I'm not the most graceful person." I ignored the other people in the hall staring at us.

James's lips twitched, hinting at a smile. "What class are you in? What rank?" He tilted his head, curios about her.

Elesa

Someone actually wanted to know her? This was new, but she went along with it.
" Oh I'm in Firearms, with explosions and loud noises and people shooting each other, it's lovely really. In Class 3." Most of the reason was I couldn't stand Class 4's...until now.

He pushed his black hair back from his eyes and nodded. "I have some experience with those....but things didn't go so well when I lost my temper with this one guy...." He shook his head, not saying more.

Elesa

"Yeah I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes they make it too easy to get pissed off." I grinned and said, "I bet that guy didn't turn out so well after making you mad."

James gave a wry smile. "I'm sure your instructor won't be happy if you're late. We could walk and talk if you liked?" He slipped the top part of his suit back on but left it untied with the belt still around his shoulders.

Elesa had completely forgotten about shooting practice. "Crap.... I forgot. Sure you can walk with me shooting grounds isn't too far off." Elesa waited for him to get the suit on and led the way to her practice.

James followed behind, his walk graceful in a way. He ignored all that looked at him. Partly because of his looks, partly in suspicion. He rolled his blue eyes. Rumors.

Elesa walked ahead, glancing back once in a while, unsure of what to say. Finally she said, " I hope you don't mind me asking, but why does everyone keep looking at you weirdly?"

James shook his head, throwing a glare at a few and they looked away and went ahead. "Rumors. Just rumors." His face darkend a little.

Elesa decided not to press him on the subject, he seemed to not want to talk about it. She never listened to the gossip that circled around so she had no idea what it could be. She saw his face darken and got curious, but shoved it out of her mind.
"Okay. Yeah people sure know how to think of some bad things." Then she fell silent, concentrating on finding the shooting grounds.

James shrugged. "It's for the best though. I don't have to worry about my anger when no one interacts with me." He continued following her.
