Live, laugh...Hate?

(Hey !nspired, do you think we can do anything w/ Stephanie and Josh or no?)

Ember: I walked down the halls again. My thoughts were filled with Derek. Was it possible that i could be falling for him? No. No guys in my life. A rule i made a couple months back. No guys. But he seemed so nice...My thoughts were cut off when i ran into someone and fell backwards.

(@Shera: yeah, I don't remember where we were but I'll improvise )

Josh: My eyebrows knit together. It was getting to be nighttime, and that was when people slept. When people had nightmares. "Stephanie, are you going to be okay tonight? Or do you want to stay in my dorm again?"

Ashley: "Watch. It." I hissed at the girl that had ran into me (so obviously they aren't gonna fall in love, I don't think they're lesbians, but Ashley can clue Ember in on what Derek's about ).

Ember: "Sorry." I muttered, getting back up to my feet. I brushed off my jeans. "But you shouldnt be the one snapping, i'm the one who fell." I pointed out. I really hoped she wouldnt reconize me from the tabloids traveling around the school.

Stephanie: I thought for a moment, "I think I'll be okay." Oh...yeah, I sounded really convincing with 'think'. I corrected myself, "Well...I'll just stay for tonight, if that's fine." I didn't want to make it sound like I was absolutely thrilled about staying in his dorm, because that would just make me sound...needy, if that's the right word.

Ashley: I rolled my eyes and flicked my hair over my shoulder. "What. Ever. Hey aren't you that girl..." I saw the fear in her eyes and laughed "The girl who was hanging around Derek?" Being seen with Derek wasn't that bad.

Josh: I smiled. "You can stay as long as you need...or want...to." I gave her a hug, hoping that didn't sound all douche baggy, like I was implying something sexual. Damn, that's probably how it sounded.

Stephanie: I pulled back from him after a moment, and looked at him slightly confused before seeing the look on his face. I laughed quietly to assure him that I knew what he meant. "All right, then." I paused, and looked out a nearby window. The moon was full, and the night sky was a beautiful shade of dark blue. I smiled softly to myself before snapping back into reality, and turned towards Josh. "We should be getting back, huh?" I half-asked.

Josh: "Yeah, curfew and all that." I had to keep my record clean at this school, or else I might end up at Juvey. I took Stephanie's hand as we walked back to my room.

Stephanie: It felt kind of weird him holding my hand, but I guess that was because I wasn't too used to people. I rolled my eyes slightly, not towards anyone, and asked softly with an edge of humorus sarcasm, "What do you think they'd do if we were bad children, and weren't in our dorms on time?"

Josh: "I dunno, but I'm not risking it. Actually, you probably have to wait in your dorm until after they check yours. Then you can come back to mine." I laughed.

Stephanie: I laughed, "Yeah, they'd probably freak out if I didn't, it would be funny though, but...I'm not risking that either." As we reached my dorm, I let go of his hand, and joked in a fake suggestive manner, "I'll see you later tonight." I had to keep from laughing loudly. It just seemed ridiculously funny for some reason. I mentally sighed, Probably because I'm tired, and when I'm tired, I'm kinda whacked out.

Josh: I laughed with her, glad we could joke that way. Friends were able to joke that way. But I wanted to be more than friends...HEY WAIT. Where had that come from, exactly? Well, we had kissed. And held hands. I shook my head as I went inside my dorm and got ready for bed before she got back.

Stephanie: I went into my dorm, laughing as I gathered what I needed. I jumped into my bed, and pretended to be asleep as the staff made their rounds, peeking into every dorm before continuing down the hall to inspect the next wing. I sighed, and got up. I walked quietly out into the hall, and barely made a sound as I practically tip-toed all the way to Josh's dorm. I knocked on the door hiestantly, hoping no one-meaning a staff member or whoever-heard me.

Josh: "What's the password?" I joked and then let her in. The night-teacher-person had already come by, so there wasn't a need to be so...quiet? I shook my hair out of my face then closed the door when she stepped inside.

Stephanie: I smiled at him, "You didn't tell me any password..." I fake-mumbled as I pouted, and crossed my arms over my chest loosely. "That would've been so cool." I couldn't hide the smirk forming on my face. I plopped down on the bed that I had claimed mine since no one roomed with Josh. Well...not mine, persay...but still.

Josh: I flopped down on my bed, but stayed sitting up. "We can make one up, especially if you end up staying." Geez, could I say anything without it sounding dirty?! "Not in that way." I mumbled.

Stephanie: I smiled to myself, but didn't say anything, because I think it would be a little bit more awkward if I did. I stretched my arms out in front of me, "So...what would be a good password?" I leaned back so I was now laying on the bed, staring up at the blank, white ceiling.

Josh: "I don't know, what do you think?" Don't girls like it when you give them the choice? I didn't really know, but I felt like I'd heard that somewhere.

Stephanie: I arched an eyebrow, and glanced over in his direction before saying, "Hm...something cool. Not something girly, wimpy." I shuddered at the thought. I pondered for a moment, some words coming into my head like Nightshade, Bloodmoon...but I didn't think those were good ones. (I have to go.)

Josh: "How about the title of one of the books you like to read? So the password is actually special, and has a real meaning." That sounded deep, and possibly like I was gay. Whatever.

Ashley: "Well, I wouldn't want you to continue without a fair warning: he's a total, and utter douche bag. Not at all the nice boy that he sometimes seems."

Ember: "Dont worry. I've shunned relationships from my life. Atleast for time being." I shrugged.
