Ashley: I laughed bitterly. "And then you met Derek. Good luck with keeping that banishment intact." I strided away down the hall.

Ember: "Dont worry, i will." I muttered under my breath. If it was the last thing i did, i would keep that true.

Derek: "Hey Em-ber." I pulled out the "m" "b" and "r", so it sounded more like Emmmmmmbbbbbbberrrr. I had just seen Ashley vanish around the corner, and smirked at the thought of her talking to Ember.

Ember: "hey Derek." I offered a small smile, my mind still spinning slightly.

Derek: I nodded in the direction Ashley had gone, with a grin. "What was that about?"

Ember: "Girl talk." I shrugged. "nothin' big."

Derek: "OH, okay." I quickly ended that topic, not wanting to talk about things like periods, and feelings, and bleh..."I didn't know you were friends with Ashley..." That wouldn't be good. Ashley didn't like Josh much anymore, and he was one of my best friends. And if I was going to be friends with Ember, well that wouldn't work.

Ember: "I acutally didnt know her before i ran into her." I shrugged. "So...."

Derek: "Oh." Good, since Ashley would fill her mind with a bunch of crap about me. Actually, a lot of it was probably the truth. But not truth I wanted Ember to know. "What's your next class?"

Ember: "Um, Consumer Science." I shrugged, "You?"

Derek: I shrugged. "I don't obey my schedule. I guess today I'll have...consumer science." I smirked at her.

Ember: I laughed lightly, "I had a feeling you would say something like that."

Derek: "Damn, that means I'm getting predictable." We reached the consumer science room and I opened the door for her. I took a bow, and used a old-fashioned British accent. "After you, m'lady." I never opened the door for girls unless it was a joke, that was more like Clayton.

Stephanie: I smiled, "That sounds like a good idea." Then I started to list some off, "The Key to Midnight, Darkfall, Phantoms, Intensity, The House of Thunder, Wintermoon," I drew a huge breath. "I could keep listing."

Josh: "I like Intensity. And then it'll be special for both of us, since I'm reading the book." I tacked on the last part realizing how odd it sounded that 'intensity' would be special to both of us. Dirty mind.

Stephanie: I kept myself from laughing...if he didn't add that last part, I probably would'nt have been able to stop myself. "That sounds good." I agreed with a slight nod of my head. I sat up suddenly, giving myself a head rush. I blinked, and held my head with one hand until the dizzy feeling passed. I mentally sighed, Clumsy me, I guess.

Josh: I saw her expression, and worried. I got up and went over to her bed, not even thinking about how random it was to go over to her. "Are you okay?"

Stephanie: I smiled at his concern, and explained casually, "Just got a head rush is all." It wasn't a big deal, so I was wondering why he seemed so worried about it though. I mean, it was welcomed, but...there wasn't a real reason for it, not one that I could figure out.

Josh: "Okay, I just thought you might be having a reaction to your medicine." I took a few steps backward and sat back down on my bed.

Stephanie: I smirked to myself, but stopped after a moment. I joked leisurely, "If I was, I'd definately let you know. I'd scream my lungs out." ...But what if I couldn't even do that? Ugh...that negative thinking again.

Ember: I bit my lip to keep from giggeling at his accent. "Thank you, my kind sir."

Josh: "Yeah..." I was still uneasy about it, but forced a yawn. "Wow, it's getting late. We should really get to sleep."

Stephanie: I blinked, then realized how heavy my eyelids felt, and how tired I actually was. "Yeah." I agreed as I yawned. I hated that fact that it was contagious. (Hm...should I make her have another nightmare or no?)
