As Darkness Falls

Alec closed his eyes trying to remember. He sighed, " I fell in love with a human girl and I tried to save her." He remembered being cast out of heaven for disobeyibg the laws. That is why he joined Omiri. He wanted to get back at God for throwing him out when all he did was love.

Laurel: I rested my head between his shoulder blades "I'm sorry" I said softly "What happened to her?" I wrapped my arms arond his waist comfortingly

"She was a slave and she had disobeyed orders so they were whipping her." He closed his eyes he could see the day clearly now the whip slashing across her back. He had been too late to save her by the time she came her wounds were too deep. "I... tried to save her but it was too late the wounds and her already starvation killed her." He remembered how depressed he had been aftwards and then the rage.

Laurel: I shuddered "I'm sorry" I whispered, hugging him tighter and pressing a soft kiss to the back of his neck "That's terrible that you had to go through that"

Alec turned slightly so he could give her a kiss on the forehead. "It's okay it was a long time ago. What about you? Why did you fall?" He was curious especially since he just told her a very personal piece of his past. He absent mindedly getly ran his fingers up and down her arms which were firmly tight around him.

Laurel: I bit my lip and then rested my cheek between his shoulderblades "I....my...purity....was stolen" I said softly

Alec never heard that one before, "How did that happen?" He was curious she seemed ashamed of it.

Laurel: I winced, sensing he didn't understand "No...a grou of men....held me down..aand...took my purity" I said softly

Alec eyes widened when he realized what she meant. He suddenly felt angry at the men that did this and wanted to hurt them till they begged for mercy. He balled his hand into fists trying to calm himself. "I'm sorry that happened to you." It was against her will to fall from heaven. He felt bac for her.

Laurel: i smiled sadly and uncurled his fists "It's alright. I've gotten over it. I've forgiven them for it" I said gently, twinign my fingers through his

Alec relaxed a little, he squeezed her hand gently. "I'm not as forgiving but if you want to let it go I will do it." He didn't want to make her upset.

Laurel: I smiled at him an kissed his cheek lightly "Thankyou"

Alec smiled at her turning to look at her. He nuzzed her neck and placed kisses up and down her neck. "Anything you want to do?"

Laurel: I shivered, tilitng my head. I swallowed dryly "Uh....I-I...I don't kn-know" I stammered, blushing

Alec chuckled, he moved her so she was in lap again. "We could do anything you want. Go swimming or maybe play a game." His blue eyes glowed with happiness.

Laurel: My eyes lit up slightly "Swimming?" I asked, smiling, wrapping my legs around his waist

Alec nodded, "Yeah there is this deserted lake that we go to but its a bit of a hike." He kissed her on the forhead. "If you want we could go there."

Laurel: I smiled widely, blushing "I'd love to go!" I said exitedly

Alec laughed, "Alright then lets go now." He gave her a kiss on the lips for a second before he untangle himself from her. "I just got to get a few things." He left her going to get sonme food and water for the trip and some swimming clothes.

Laurel: I hesitated "I need a bathing suit....if you can spare them"

Alec came back with the stuff they needed. "I was thinking we could go skinny dipping." He teased.

Laurel: My eyes widened and I turned bright red, both embarrassed and slightly nervous. I hadn't been naked around a man since....

Alec saw her blush and laughed. "Don't worry I brought some bathing suits for you and me." He didn't want to make her uncomfortable.

Laurel: I nodded, relaxing with a slightly shaky smile "Oh, thanks"

Alec nodded, "Alright we better get going now. That way we don't have to waste the day." Plus if they stayed longer he had half a mind to make out with her more and he didn't want to push her till she said so especially after he heard what happened to her.
