Dramatic Death Scenes!

Cricket's Soul
I shook my head at Cricket, who apparently still didn't like being a cat despite the gun wound he would have as a human. I couldn't let him hobble around like that. With a smirk I put on a mask, and grinned at Sesria...though she couldn't see it. This was going great! We were actually going to make it.

Sesria

I grabbed a mask and put in on as well. Gods, these things were creepy-looking. But hey, they made us pretty much invisible in this place. We were almost out of here!

T.Mor's soul:

I pulled on a mask as well, actually bothering to pick out one in the correct facial measurements. We probably wouldn't be in them long enough to get 'bridge of your nose' blisters. These things could be terribly unforgiving to the noobs. I remember watching T.Mor deal with the cuts along the sides of his face where they dug in throughout the day when he was little. Ugh. That had been awful. "I think we can dialogue now ya'll..." I muttered careful to enunciate through the mask. "So...What's the plan here? Move with the shift change?" I asked quietly.

Sesria

"Sounds good to me," I said. "By the way, what are your names? Or do you know yet? Mine's Sesria, in case it wasn't mentioned."

T.Mor's Soul:

"Dude...No Idea. Nice to meet you though." I held out a hand.

Cricket's Soul
"I'm...I 'ave absolutely no idea whatsoever." I shrugged and nodded in greeting.

Sesria

I shook T.Mor's soul's hand.

"Well, they'll probably come to you at some point. You'll just find one that feels right. Anyway, when is the next shift change?"

Cricket's Soul
"Well, if we sent our people as souls t' find an exit, couldn't we just meet up with them there?" I asked simply. "And while they're doing that, aye, just play guard."

T.Mor's Soul:

"Bout...5 minutes to the next shift I think...If It's close to three AM." I supplied. I knew all the shift changes. I would suggest that T.Mor surrendered some of his shifts sometimes during the shift changes, so he could get some rest. He never listened. "So...When the shift changes we're going to just...calmly walk out of here...and...yeah." I said.

Sesria

"Sounds good," I said with a nod. Then I turned to T.Mor's soul. "By the way, when we're out, the team can escort you and your sibling all the way out."

I was trying to be careful with what I said in case someone happened to be nearby. Of course, there were only so many ways to say one thing.

T.Mor's Soul:

"That...That would be fantastic." I told Sesria appreciatively. "He...He needs it." I said. I went to the door and cracked it quietly.

Cricket's Soul
"Let's send them out a'ready," I said, gesturing to our owl, cat and deer.

Sesria

"Alright."

Peter flew off my shoulder, through the door, and out.

I don't think I'll ever get used to flying like this, he mused. Flying with wings, I mean. Flying with wind...I'm fine with that.

"No! That table looks weird. I don't like it. Can I go play on that big screen thing?" Beatle asked, looking up at the man with the weird face.
He was so nice. Beatle figured everyone with those strange faces must be nice. There were so many people around here with that same face, and that must have meant it was a sign of friendliness.
"Oh! Oh! I'll sit on the table if I get more jello!" Beatle cried.

Oh, and Momo said in A SECRET PLACE that she was on vacation for a week, sooo yeahh.

Cricket
I scuttered after him, not keeping up quite as easily on the ground. But I trailed close behind, watching for any clues to an exit.

((Bonez I know. I've got the plot sorted out around that. You're good.))

Mr.Face:

I heard my metal door before I actually could touch it. I loved metal. You could hear it's acoustic difference from stone so easily. I walked down the hallway beyond practically skipping. This was going to be fantastic. "Good Morning!" I told the two people already in the room. The plastic faced guard was trying to get the child onto the table. And the child wanted to see what would go up on the screen. "I'll show you what goes on the screen." I said calmly, from behind them.

T.Mor's Soul:

I watched T.Mor go with the other two. "Alright...Now...We roll. Towards the west wing." I said, pulling the door open further.

Beatle glanced up at the man. He had one of those faces!
"Hi there! Want to be friends? You look just like Mr. Funny Face, so you must also be awesome. Do you have jello? I like jello. Ooh, ooh, after I get on the table can I show you my super powers?" he chirped, talking so fast that when he was done he had to take a few deep breaths.
Beatle had forgotten about his anger again. He was much too excited. Maybe he would make two new friends in one day.

Cricket's Soul
I walked casually out the door, following T.Mor's soul's lead. This mask hurt. Ah well...I wouldn't have to wear it too long, I hoped.

((So, where are we going here?))

(Uh...I dunnooo....)

Ezra let out another scream, "SOMEBODY HELP!!!!"

Mr.Face:

"Get on the table." I pulled the child away from the guard and plopped him on the table, wasting no time in starting to bind his ankles. "OS. RUN PROGRAMME FIVE." I commanded loudly. "See? The computer does things when I talk to It." I explained with a grin to the small child.

T.Mor's Soul:

We started walking. I could see for real now why T.Mor got lost all the time. The hallways were indistinguishable from one another.

"Hey! GETOFFOFMELETMEGORIGHTNOWIDON'TLIKETHIS!" Beatle screamed, squirming but bidden to the table.
He felt suddenly scared. This face was not like the other. He was mean. Beatle also didn't like the computer anymore. Beatle started to shake slightly and his lower lip pouted out. He had a strong feeling that something very, very bad was going to happen now. A single tear slid down his cheek as he thought of Fishy. He missed Fishy.
